I don’t do ballet but I do ski and I wear high heels on almost a regular bases. The foot care videos for high heels are not sufficient to me. But the foot care and prep for ballet has helped my feet and leg muscle tremendously!

@@darwinstevens810 cool. i do ballet in pointe shoes and if you don't take proper care of your feet then a lot can happen like blisters or broken toes. ballet is forcing your body to do something its not made to do.

theFitty 😊 thank you so much! yeah, I mean, becoming flexible and getting stamina after being a couch potato all my life was hard, and it took me a year but I managed to get decently flexible, lose 20 pounds and sort of get decent energy levels in a year, I think motivation is key. Also, it helps a lot that by being an adult, you have more awareness of what you are doing, you can be more focused and pay attention to strategy and a lot of things that kids don’t get. So, it is more difficult, but easier in some areas. If so, I’d say the hardest in my case is finding time since I have a very time consuming job and life, so, considering that, I’d say if you have 4 hours a week to take classes, you’ll move forward a lot faster than I did.

I am a mountain hiker and this was great, and I am famous for taping my toes 🤣🦶🏻I just use really cheap medical tape, under 2 US dollars for two pack with different size. I am Norwegian so that is extremely cheap for Norway.
When I was 18 I got diagnosed with arthritis (I am 35 now), and my first thought was to start ballet since that was a dream to do and I dance 1,5 years, and also was a teddy bear on a play, with 10 year olds 🤣🤣 I did not care, I just wanted to try while I could, so going to class with kids was no problem. I got a bad tendonitis in my thigh, so I had to quit half year before moving from home, but I still try my first position and some others, and often while I wait on the bus some ballet moves comes natural, even though I use crutches and have done that for over 3 years, and got a new hip at the end of November last year. That was because of another diagnose, where I have a deformed hip form childhood, that also made dancing hard, but I love these videos, and mountain hiking is really my passion, also with my partners in crime, my beloved crutches. Our bodies are amazing, with all we can do with them, even though we get some blisters 😍🤣🙌
Sending love from Johanne, Norway (sorry for me babbling 💕🙈)

I thought methylated spirits is poisonous. It says all over not to let it get in contact with your skin because it will do something called defatting, but then I also see where it says it's good for cuts. But just a few months ago this was written "Methylated spirit is poisonous. It should not be ingested or come into contact with your skin. It should also be used in a well-ventilated area and you should avoid inhaling the substance's vapors."

Hannah Wildridge try toe spacers between your big toe and second toe and make sure you have wings that cover your bunion area. Make sure your shoes are made for your feet as far as being for tapered feet or non-tapered feet.

The methylated spirits are violet so people don’t accidentally drink it. So you don’t accidentally drink it if someone puts it your drink

    Hey Claudia,
Whenever I develope devant or to second, i find myself using my quads instead of my hip flexors. I (obviously) watched your video on extension tips as I struggle to consistently hit 90º, and you had given hip flexor strengthening exercises. I tried them out at home (with my barre and my mum helping my alignment), and I was still using my quads. After doing 15 reps on each, my quads were sore (from working them). I was wondering if you have any tips to help with correcting this.
    Hugs from Canada!

I have the same problem but the only tip that I've found to be effective is research "quad dominance" on youtube or online 😃 hope I helped a bit

How much do EPO’S cost? I’m a ballerina that got my pointe shoes almost a year ago and my parents see my blisters and they are like “EWWWWW” They always ask me to ask my teacher what to do about blisters and I either don’t see her as often or I forget to ask because I’m so busy trying to master my corrections! 😆😆😝
