I hear you Deborah, I really do and you are absolutely right. I'm so sorry that happened to you, your family and your comrades. My husband and I went through something similar and when we voiced our concerns had been told, "love never fails," (ie we were being unloving for speaking up). We received the "cold shoulder" at church (most of the people were fearful). The LORD knows and cares what you've gone through and you are speaking the truth.❤

I don't know why this should surprise me considering that the devil knows that his time is short and therefore must fight against the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Exposing wrongdoing is NOT the work of the enemy, God is dealing with sin, bringing it to light in those who have not responded in private. Judgment begins in the house of the Lord first. It is time we stopped treating ministers like celebrities and hold them to a standard set by Jesus and His Apostles. Some of the goings on in a lot of ministries has needed to be dealt with for sometime. It is life or death. Heaven or hell for some. Time to get our houses in order.

I had a similar experience with another church years ago. I brought up certain things that i saw as not correct. The course they were offering was a diploma & not a degree as advertised. They felt threatened, they had about 5 students who were all available to go on missions yet they were not using any of the students who were available according to their vision. From my observation they were offering this course for the money only. When things are done in this manner its clear that its not about ppl. This dean running the bible school was only there for his salary whilst there may be Pastors/staff in the church who aren't at fault but when something is wrong they should address it. I left in the end.

Having been in a cult-ish church when I was a teen, this all sounds very familiar. How can this prevented? It seems like when institutions get big or grow in influence, cult-ish tendencies emerge. This is the reason why I have been in my local church as long as I have. It's safe. It may not be to my liking as far as the power of God or the gifts of the Spirit are concerned, but it is safe. No one lords it over anyone. The pastor is respected but not revered. You can question and disagree freely. Titles and positions are not important.

I see this to be more of Management issue than a doctrinal concern. How was 1st year and second year? If the teachings were based on the Bible, then we should see this as a Management issue, and not a doctrinal issue in which we just now discredit Charis Bible College. The fact that you got a refund shows that they acknowledge the fact that you were not happy in the logistics Management of the program. We should rather pray for God to give them insight on how to manage the 3rd year. Absolutely there is no organization that is perfect and the key issue should be the heart of those concern to make changes for the better. I live in Cameroon, I watch Andrew wommack on TH-cam and I have been wonderfully blessed by his teachings.

God didn’t tell us to pray and hide and be scared and ignore. No, he tells us EXACTLY what to do.
”“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. What I’ve heard from your videos is someone who yes, experienced some negative experiences no doubt but, also wants to be heard concerning what you experienced there and no matter how nice you try to sound, I hear what’s in your heart and you’re angry and dissatisfied and because you’re not getting the feedback or response/results you thought you should have, you’re venting here…publicly. There are bound to be some negative things going on with so many different people and backgrounds melding together with so many others, that’s to be expected. There is always room for improvement in any situation and with that many different people involved in one place, problems should be expected. The answer is always prayer, give it to Him, and leave it there. I might have good reason to say, “something needs to be done to whomever it may concern about what students are experiencing in this particular situation”, but give it to God. He already knows anyway and has the answers. God never condones anyone publicly expressing their anger by slamming a ministry because you didn’t get the results you wanted from them. In fact, He tells us not to talk bad about others. He calls that cursing others when we talk bad about them. It’s the wrong way to go about it. I hope you heal and forgive because, bitterness is a mighty tool of the enemy and given opportunity, he will use it…against you. Don’t let that happen. You’re in control of that. God bless you.

Deborah’s has gone through away higher sob story dealing with her two kids that had autism. I’d f you know anything about autism and her story that in itself is a personal hell to bring parents down mentally, physically and financially. The ministry also replaced Deborah’s testimony with Mara d Los Reyes. Deborah prayed for Mara’s son who got healed with changes starting that night. It also inspired Lara dunnams sons helping him hide previewed in Mara’s interview and they make no
Mention of Deborah performing the prayer? They take away her booth to promote
Her book which has brought many moms of Disabled kids over to Charis. That more donations and followers to Andrew ministries. This is not a sob story. Also you don’t change a curriculum last

"Raising awareness of abuse" = "sob story"... wow. This is an abuse-enabling attitude.
Your experience is YOUR experience and is NOT an argument to dismiss Deborah's experience. You assume Deborah is lying about speaking to "various people" and that 5 other students were pushed aside because, to you, it seems inconceivable that if it actually happened, something would have been done about it. Obviously, nothing did get done, ergo "she's lying" -- a biased assumption that the leadership are actually good and ethical people who value justice.
Charis refunded Deborah because she could have sued them for Falsely Advertising "Creative Arts".
Deborah did speak to the Dean of Students and he did nothing. She told Andrew Wommack about the issues and he did nothing, as shown in the video "Does Andrew know?", something you should have known before commenting.
"Now you throw out the baby with the water because of Your experiance off ONE class - sorry." -- Yes, her experience of an ENTIRE 3rd Year's track of spiritual, emotional and psychological abuse that was allowed to happen by leadership, with no repercussions.
