BarakaPDub thanks I wish I was able to do more videos more often but when your work a ton of hours it makes it hard . I appreciate you watching your video are awesome love those tales from the deadwax I learned so much stuff. Have a great week Paul. Lovellandrew
Nice to see these. Great to see your Amon Duul package.....still need Yeti. Great collection! I still have so much more to get........as we know these are pricey. Cheers Steve
FlipSideCT Steve thanks for watching I so many more I hope to get in the future I Agree the pricing are crazy now . Be patient Steve you will run across a Yeti when your not thinking about it heavily that how I lucked up on hard to get records. I subbed you thank you for subbing me i definitely going to watch your videos have a wonderful weekend. Lovellandrew
Very cool, Lovell. It’s a part of my collection that is very small - always interesting to see what others have and have been drawn to. I think my hesitation is that it is all close to jazz, fusion, and funk while not falling into any of the categories completely, which ultimately frustrates me to a degree. The electronic tinged part of Krautrock, like Kraftwerk is the exception, of course - that I get completely.
dixielandfarm thanks for watching yes the Electronic aspect is definitely amazing kraftwerk was definitely way head of their time it still groups I need to get but I'm very happy what I have right now . Kris its awesome to talk to you have a great weekend man and kept up those great videos man. Lovellandrew
That is a collection that I can get behind! Drooling over your Can albums! I have never listened to Cluster and now I am going to check them out. Peace to you brother
Wow Lovell. Some very nice pressings. The Tangerine Dream on OHR, very nice. Orig Can 'Soon Over' from the UK? Fantastic. There are too many gems to point out. Your collection continues to dazzle~ Rob/Boston
Paneeks1960 {Rob/Boston} thanks that's one genre of music that is getting mega notoriety so experiment and pushing the limits which is always good thanks for stopping by Rob Paneeks you have a great week my friend . Lovellandrew
Vinyl Richie I appreciate you stopping by man it was tough finding original some of the finds was being at the right place at the right time I still keep my eyes open for more originals and even 2nd pressings. Have a great week Vinyl Richie
@@getemalfonso5100 you should check out 60s Lee Morgan like Sidewinder and Search for the New Land you will like it . Dexter Gordon is great too like the album called Go try those out it will lead you to other artist that how I learned.
Great to see you back behind the camera man! Great collection. The Krautrock pieces are literally non-existent in my area. That Tyner - Sahara behind you...one of the most intense records I have ever heard. I don’t think Sonny Fortune took a breath for 20 minutes on that. Lol
Localbandography lol thanks man for watching I kept putting the krautrock video off I felt it was time to do it that's a genre that's doesn't get talk about a lot very underrated rock musicians and music to influenced the future of hip hop and David Bowie and Brian Eno Berlin Trilogy have a great week I really dig you videos man keep up the great work .lovellandrew

Some nice showings here, just found your channel. I've been getting into Krautrock slowly but it's growing. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. See ya soon, Randy
Dead Wax66 Randy thanks for watching I'm definitely learning the different group from this period .I am going to do more videos in the future. And I'm going to check your videos out brother thank you for stopping by. Have a great week. Lovell andrew
so nice to see Soon Over Babaluma get some love. you're 100% right on that, sleeper record for sure. and not to be a picky bastard, but Faust 4 isn't exactly where the term krautrock came from- British journalists were using it to describe the scene initially and Faust used it ironically
Hey hey Lovell. There has been some great VC videos tonight and you just made the viewing even better. I know by looking at the video title it is going to be a good one. So I better shut up for now and start enjoying. Be back to wrap up in my next comment. Rob/Boston
Bowie’s inspiration for his Berlin Trilogy. What a band Can and jealous of your Tago Mago copy. Check out the recent live releases (post Damo Suzuki). Bought live in Stuttgart, remastered from a fan cassette and sounds great! Great vid!
Hi Lovell. Nice collection. You've got to get a copy of Amon Duul's Wolf City: for me, their best. Great to see Zuckerzeit, rarely shows up on original and is an absolute must have. Faust IV is excellent and Neu 75 is my favourite Neu album. The 1st three La Dusseldorf albums are all worth getting and usually really cheap. Great stuff and a pleasure to watch. Cheers. Alan
Static Traveller awesome I'm glad you enjoyed it I have Wolf City high on my list to get since you said it I'm definitely going to dig harder have a great week .lovellandrew
Lovell!! Wow! Super stoked to see you! Ah I see the Coltrane lost album....I bet that’s a sweet play.....happy to see your collection, wait did ya say your birthday? Well happy belated Lovell!!.......wow some great goodies here....have a great week- Lisa

Well damn, I wish I was looking for krautrock when I lived in Milwaukee and Chicago, I dont think I've seen any brain or ohr OGs in over 4 years here in CA. Killer stuff!

Awesome collection of German goodies. I haven’t been focusing on OGs but managed to pick up some of the early pressings. But some I have gone for the reissues. Kraut rock is a odd and interesting genre in music history. So much anger and angst in on musical movement.
SublimMedia thank you Jonas for stopping by yes it tough to find I definitely going to buy some reissues to fill the holes in my collection I believe some of the originals I'm missing are impossible to find the prices are really crazy these days. Hope your have a wonderful summer Jonas I appreciate you watching live you videos too keep up the great work brother .lovellandrew

Hey Lovell! I just stumbled upon this video searching for some more krautrock. I'm heavily into German early 70's cosmic music myself. You show a great line of excellent records indeed. I need that Amon Duul Paradiesvärts Duul myself. I love that Ohr label. Amon Duul II, Can, Cluster, Kraftwerk, Faust, Neu and Tangerine Dream. I love Kraftwerks first album. It's a tough listen for sure, but man I love the harshness + the sound of the analoge drums backing the primitive synthezisers and processed flutes. Vom Himmel Hoch is my favourite track, illustrating the bombs dropped over Germany during the 2nd world war. The first Tangerine Dream is also my favourite for the vary same reasons as Kraftwerk 1. Pure industrial harsh sound collages. Just subbed to your channel. Feel free to stop by my channel, if you're into more krautrock, prog, psych etc. Take care! Nico
PS: The pocket on the 13 first Ohr releases (the first issues that is) had a balloon attached to it. Most of the balloons are gone by now. Highly collectible of course if they show up intact. Cheers!

Love Krautrock. Can is one of my all time favourite bands
Thank you for watching

Seems as though you’re a jazz guy. Love you to recommend some killer jazz albums. I don’t know much outside of Miles, Coltrane etc
