I love that he doesn't just speak for the sake of speaking, he's taking the time to feel each exercise and he doesn't let his ego get in the way when he's experiencing each bar. This is the details that make a great phsyique.

gym i train at only has squat racks
its full of teens who talk all the time, they wont miss it.
I prefer to pick the Olympic Bar up off the floor and curl it like a real man.
Doing it inside the squat rack improves gains by20%
What’s a squat rack? Only ever heard of a curl rack
and the motivational compliments you get from the on lookers will have you gain %65 more mass

During the pandemic all I had were rubber bands and I kept my arms big and in shape, really just comes down to putting in the work
When people want to talk to me about getting in shape first thing I tell them is get their diet in check,and get some bands.

I switched to bands as free weights were always aggravating long standing injuries. Not had a single problem since.

I used bands and bodyweight and made gains even after 10+ years of lifting. Physique wise it made no difference however when I eventually went back to barbells and dumbbells I did lose some strength and athleticism. However it was fun gaining those things back and I made even more gains because my body was not use to those things anymore. So My advice is if you are just focused on physique is to not let yourself do one or the other two long but switch back and forth every 6 months or so.
Love the instructions that Lee gives and the questions aren't so bad either

I like the straight bar. The ez takes pressure off the wrists but also the bicep. Straight bar fully supinates the hand therefore giving more (better) stimulation the the bicep. I used the ez for years with moderate results but recently changed back to the straight and I'm making good progress now.

I bought the Super Curl not that long ago, and it's really made a big difference to my arm workout, I use all 3 grips with it along with close hammer type grip also being perfect for tricep extensions. I had a ez-bar for my cable machine which was "ok" - but nothing beats free weight and I just find straight bar painful on my wrists with heavier weight.
The difference is the curl. Hence the name. So you do it with the straight bar, you curl your wrist/forearm which effectively one of the main functions of the bicep muscle. Straight bar is more tension on the muscle, ez bar is less tension on the main bicep mass, but also some on bicep brachii, as almost if you hammer curl. Straight is the best if you don't go super high and no issues on your wrist, if not go for ez bar, and add Dumbbell curls to your routine.
The super curl bar can be a better option when you're suffering from a bout of tendonitis, great video as always squire 👍

I watched till end , yeh I like variety and he is the man to know and say straight bar n easy curl from back in the day. A bit of concentration and bag work to finish it off for me .
The last bar, as it has a cutout, is designed for the lying down triceps extension exercise.
Lee U are so inspiring been training for couple years on and off and just started training again watch your videos as I do cardio I haven't done a cycle yet but seeing as we are the same height you are so inspiring makes me want to train hard are you coming to Melbourne any time soon would love too meet you bro

It feels like the Super Curl works the forearms more than the other bars and actually if you combine the Super Curl with an arm blaster than that works perfect. The straight bar or EZ curl both hit the biceps but probably an EZ curl is more comfortable like he said.
With a super curl bar you could also do tricep extensions 👍

i absolutely love the super curl, its hard to find in most gyms around me (well impossible). I have strong biceps and il curl 130-140lbs, on a ez curl it gives me wrist issues. Ive tried stretching those flexor muscles and it helps but the super curl alleviates all those issues.
straight bar, wrist fully supinated is pure biceps, the more you twist the wrist inwards the more other arm muscles come into play.

It's all in the reflexes.
It sucks I got tennis elbow from putting to much strain on my wrists. The muscles in your wrist attach in one area on top of your elbow. Once I overtaxed this muscle it becomes inflamed and it took about 8 weeks to recover.

Straight bar is my favorite for arm curls. The curl bar limits you on hand placement.

No bars and my joints don’t hurt anymore. Free weights and cables with ropes or handles for each hand have cured the pains I would get.

Maintaining the right form while lifting is more important than the weight you use. I learned the hard by eventually getting tennis elbow because my form was bad while my training my biceps. It took literally a month of not training my biceps to heal my forearms.
@@jaygannon3560 Yep,Proper form IS important;but amount of Weight,depending on what you're after is just as important. I still use heavier weights(drop sets/supersets)to maintain my size/physic.

Best for biceps is straight dumbbell curl with the right amount of weight that you're actually isolating the bicep. Not using other muscles to rep it.
