I enjoy the look of these dense apartment towers from the exterior, but man they're rough on the inside. Which seems strange being that they're less than a decade old.
Amazing as always bro! So informative! These apartments are really affordable! 2100/2000 is very affordable. The ladies were so helpful right through the end. In clean and nice environments wow! You definitely deserve more recognition man! ✊🏾
@@WesleyWinter. Low by what standards? This is why a country's health cannot be determined by GDP or wages. You have to look at GDP (by Purchasing Power Parity) which takes into account wages and living costs of said country. Average people in China live far better than people in North America but GDP (by GDP) would not tell you that. If you look at GDP (by PPP) it is obvious.
As a renter or home owner, it's easy to just remodel or at minimum re-paint. The shower issue is such an easy fix that anyone remotely handy can fix to suit. The darkness is simply the fact owners want to keep their costs down since no one is living in the units. In China, once you own a home, there is no extra costs (like property tax) for the owner even when empty except for the electricity the unit uses.
When I lived in China my hobby was genuinely apartment hunting. Even when I had an apartment if I had a spare half a day I’d nip into a Lianjia and ask them to take me to see some apartments. I’ve seen hundreds over the years. Side note, apartment hunting in Qingdao was a pain in the arse to find an apartment for me because the landlords didnt want a tennant in summer so they could rent to the holiday market at higher rates. My rent was 3600 for a 1 bedroom in 福州路.
You can definitely find some great apartments next to the sea. The video was filmed in Sifang about 20 minutes from downtown so there are definitely nicer apartments. Just wanted to show an everyday place. I can imagine, a lot of people use Airbnb over the summer especially in the Laoshan area. Glad you enjoyed the video and good to hear you’ve been to the city 👊🏻
Wow $350 is a great deal for a multiple bedroom apt! Yes they all look like they’re govt housing, (but clearly much cleaner and safer). But any of those apts in the cheapest parts of NyC would be 10X. $3500. And way more in Manhattan
@@WesleyWinter. I also watched your videos on the riots in England. Terrible. The world is changing. Our countries are changing. And too fast for many people. Something is terribly wrong when so many people are at odds with each other. Look at the failed coup we just had in the US. People are very upset.
Those look a lot better than the ones around my area, and by the looks of it have a community that cares for each other etc. Where i live you cannot leave a scooter like that for 5 mins, and it will be away. All could do with bloody good clean inside and a refurb, the thing that gets me is how little the washing machines are. But then again space is limited. For those prices, i think we would be all laughing in the uk. Everyone could afford a home of some sort.
The 2,000 RMB apartment looks really poor, the stove is very dirty, and the corridor is very dark. If foreigners really want to move in, they will have to hire a cleaning company to do a thorough cleaning.

It's very sad how when you enter the building there is no actual safe light people can get hurt people cannot see where they're going this program is very scary not good
To be fair that is also what I initially thought. But there is virtually no crime in East Asia, China included. So people are less concerned about that aspect of their building.
Man you was in the PJs (Projects). That's government housing for those outside the U.S. I saw a young lady's video where she showed the housing buildings there. Looks almost the same. Nice to see how those tall building Chinese apartment looks. I was curious about them.
Yeah, they do right. The outside always look much worse than the inside. I guess in China they’re built quickly as they need to fill the homes. Have to take the good with the bad I guess. There are much nicer places downtown though

Why is lighting not cool in the entrance Except that everything seems decent.

Probably just old buildings 😬
Who manages the common areas of these apartment houses? Fees?
What about parking (bike, car,,,,,,,,etc)?
They probably have some sort of management especially for gated communities
