That’s in the sequel. Here they never actually met the guys before - if they did, they wouldn’t be running to see them when Donna told them they’re on the island. Donna’s mother is supposed to be dead, too, but she’s Cher for some reason in the sequel

@@elenachristian9860 exactly. The first movie is light-hearted and just fun, basically without any conflict (after the characters speak to each other). The sequel tries to be a serious movie for some reason and it's just dumb. I'd love to see the younger versions of Harry, Bill and Sam, the way they showed them in the first movie, but no, that would be too silly.

I believe that is what they were hinting towards, or at the very least bi. Cuz there's also that scene earlier after Voulez Vouz where him and Bill are talking on the boat and while Harry is referring to his realisation about Sophie being his daughter Bill is assuming he's talking about being gay, because in the Voulez Vouz scene you can see him dancing with Pedros, the dude he hugs at 4:33

Like Cromwell the Synth said there are references. I don’t know about the movie but in the stage musical the movie is based after Harry keeps on telling everyone about his spouse who he refers to as his “other half”. He never saids the gender or their name until the very end he saids the Donna was the last girl he ever loved and that he was in a romantic relationship with a man who we never see named Lawrence

imagine having the entire plot of the movie happen and then the fountain bursting at the end, dancing in the water and everything, it would feel so surreal and would definitely give me goosebumps
After all these years, this movie is still my feel good movie to watch

I was obsessed with this song as a kid. I used to play it over and over on my iPod😂
When I got United 93 last night, I grabbed the movie and started dancing on the table with it and it caught me when I fell off. The love between us is real and my dad really didn’t want me dancing on his table but I did anyway because the hype for United 93 is real even though I’ve seen the movie like 26 times now in 2 months, my family loves the chemistry between me and 9/11.
Watch this movie again recently with a couple of friends and asked ourselves why is everyone taking off their shirts? This is a wedding 😂

@@braveminefly2006 Well he doesn't make an appearance in Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, which might hint that they broke up although some sources claim a third Mamma Mia film is in the works that is centered around Harry's gay wedding, so it could be the actor who played Harry's boyfriend just wasn't available at the time the second movie was being made, well just have to wait for the next film to be announced 😊
