Everything about those three really works together! Their chemistry and humor really make a great addition to the whole movie! I also loved many parts, the fish, the reunion, and Cleopatra, and Tanya's shoe! My favorite quote at the beginning, "My mother needs a perch! Mother! We're the same age!" I also like " Dynamos Dynamite sleep all day and wa poo all night
The chemistry between these 3 ladies is what makes this movie so special
Meryl Streep actually lost her voice after filming the scene where Rosie and Tanya reunite with Donna. Because of all the yelling.

I want to know if the actors, Meryl, Julie and Christine are friends in real life, because this shows me that they were already close instead of acting
Meryl and Christine are kinda close, they had mention about each other in some interviews and have dinner dates and funny stories. On the other hand, Meryl and Julie definitely friend, but did not have that much interaction outside of work, not on what I had know. I don't know much about Christine and Julie but I think they surely get along well.

Tanya and Rosie are hilarious! I enjoyed the movie but they were the source of most of my laughs.
Their younger selves were also well casted in the second movie. Same vibes, same great comedic presence.

I think Donna was implying her mother is dead, but could also be a figure of speech

They way that Meryl moves her body when she rushes to the dock to meet and pick up Rosie and Tanya is so hilarious - it reminds me so much of my sister who can also move her body in odd ways like that ! 😂😂
