Thank you so much! Sometime they might not sound like they would be good or someone might not even think of cooking like that. for instance, brown sugar on my cooked onion. and the brown sugar and lemon juice on the fish. But it is s good. the onion is good without the brown sugar, to me it is even better with the brown sugar. it can be tried on just a small piece of it to see if it is liked. I like it with and without. I use sweet onions for this

Thank you so much! Well I usually do it when I make the plumb cobbler. I just add cornstarch until it thickens a little bit and that is it. It does add a little more of flavor to it plus it is pretty. How does that sound

Thank you for the recipe. You deserve the gifts. You cook so well, off the top of your head. David you have the camera to close to your face. I can hear you breathing as loud as Brenda is talking. It's a little distracting. You two are such sweet people. So glad I found your channel and seeing Sadie grow from a child to a young lady. David please stop interrupting Brenda, it makes her forget what she's doing. My husband does the same things to me and it's frustrating. I lose my train of thought easily. Love y'all!!

Thank you so much! David hates the editing program that he has. I have tried to get him to go to best buy. I looked it up to see if there was new hours of operations, and it says that they are closed. .that is a good place to go to get electronics of all kinds an also things like programs. These people know what is good and what is not. We don't want to get one off the internet again and not like it. we are recording a few shows tomorrow and Monday. David goes back on Tuesday, and he will have a hard time. Everyone wants David and that makes it hard on him. Thanks for watching. We will get you something on real soon. Stay safe and God bless

peal and core and slice them up. out them in a pot with a couple cups of water is all that you need. Cook them until they will mash like a potato. You can put cinnamon and sugar or season the way that you would like. You will have to drain them. you also have to kind stir them to get the water off while draining. or you can slice and peal and put them in the freezer to fry when you want fried apples or for pies. for the hand pie it is better to use the mashed ones. I also leave a little bit of the chunks in mine. or you can mash them and make them smooth like apple sauce. I love these things. You can can or freeze apple sauce. the freezing them holds all the good taste in. and you have more storage room than dealing with the jars. I hope this helped you. you might already know how to do them. thanks for watching

I love those kind of cobblers I like to let the butter brown real good before I add the dough to it. I really like browned butter and it won't burn because the dough will absorb it when it's poured in. Glad to see you back.

Happy to help! If you need to know anything just let me know. its easy. I will tell you 1/12 c. plain flour. the same in sugar or a splinda blend works great. 1 cup of milk. 1tsp vanilla 1 tsp salt. I added to plain flour 3 tsp of baking powder. and you can add some salt. I didnt and it worked out fine. you can put about a tsp if you want to. normally you have to.. 1 stick of butter. 9x13 in. pan. melt the butter in the pan then add the flour mixture then the fruit. you can use peaches or cherries plums. if you use raw fruit then take about 6 c. of fresh plumbs or what ever you are going to use into a pot with 2 tbs of melted butter. add about 3/4 c. of which ever sugar you want to use. i used brown. also just add some lemon juice. I had a fresh lemon. you dont have to use fresh. put about a tbs. of lemon juice and let that heat and melt the sugar. put the fruit over the flour. spread it out so that you get fruit in every bite. Use the temp. that I used for about 30 to 40 minutes. I cooked mine 30. ovens vary. good luck let me know how it goes for you. its so easy I know that a you can do it. just watch the video more. thanks for watching. we appreciate you.

Well , if you already bought it maybe just do David’s hair!!!!! No, just kidding , ha ha..... but yours is so long & pretty that I’d be afraid that it would ruin it. I know it’s really hard to frost long hair....BTW, that’s how I fix cobblers too. Someone showed me many moons ago so I don’t ever bother with crust pies anymore - just dump & go! I really enjoy watching your program as you cook like I do. Til next time to see you (when my bell rings!!). ❤️

I cannot live without my hamburger masher! When I first got it, I thought it was a waste of money, and it took me almost a year to finally use it. OMG...I love it!! I use it at least twice a week...it gets your meat as chunky or fine as you want. I bet you can use it to help break down cooked fruit like apples or plums!! I’d love you to do a video using it! Your cobbler looks yummy!! David’s a lucky man...he gets to taste all your yummy cooking!

I think so too! or fix this one. He cannot find the trays and the rims. and they are 2 pieces
We have brought them home and have to take them right back where we got them. If he can fix it then I will be fine with it. the stove still works good. The eyes are leaning down now and I can cook anything even. So his brother gave him some trays and rims and he is going to see if they will work, I am hoping so for now anyway. So keep yur fingers crossed for me. thank you for watching our show

My granny used to call this a creeping crust cobbler when she taught me how to make it. Still to this day, its the only way I like cobblers.

Its good like this Charlie. i did the fruit a little different because it was raw. If you use canned fruit then all you have to do is poor it in the pan. I love it to. It is one of them that stayed with me over the years. it is so easy to remember.
