What are you gonna do when you inevitably want to display a map/mini-map of the dungeon if they dont connect properly? :p Cool devlog, you're good at this! You're full time on the game or is that a side project still?
In the generation process, an array of all room coordinates and connections between those coordinates are generated (later turned into world coordinates for creating the physical rooms). It should be relatively straight forward to take those and draw out a minimap. And I definitely have been putting in a full time amount of work into the game. With school starting up now I might have less time to work on it, but definitely want to make it a successful project!
@@BBGDev I think I probably misunderstood the way it works. I thought you moved the rooms apart so that you could have different shapes, and I thought they would not necessarily align well physically with their adjacent rooms. But if that's not the case then nvm :) gl!
Dude, you only have 1K subscribers, but your videos are better than any other TH-camr's, and your game looks good. Keep going!
GG looking good! I’m not an automation game enthusiast but I’m looking forward to trying this out!
I adore the art style, especially the main character.
Can't wait for the game release!
