BY FAR one of the most fun songs I have ever recorded. The cool thing about it is, it's one of those songs that you'd almost never think of jamming along to.. But I can TOTALLY recommend this song for every drummer to try out; SICK pieces to improv to.. so much fun it could be illegal.

On a nostalgia trip and listened to the original recording but realised it wasnt my favourite version and couldnt understand why. Thank god the thumbnail for this cover was in the feed.

I am on TH-cam from the early days, had partnerships, collabs etc which will be 20 years or so and never seen this video here until now. The name is familiar even the video itself is but bet I seen it just rather in passing somewhere on another website then lost it forever ... well again until now.
BUT I have an plausable theory why we never seen it. Due to copyright strikes I bet this video was made private, unlisted / hidden for decade or so only to be uplisted again lately with a clearance.
I use to upload things (not on this channel but others) and got flagged, the ones that were not auto-deleted or banned I made them private, unlisted it and 10 years in the copyright strike lifted since the copyright itself vanished. So I managed to save bunch of videos that way. They existed but only privately.

Goosebumps all over my body. My god give me a Time machine, back to the 90's. It was so diverse in styles, there was something for everyone, rock, techno, reggae, rap... Today there is only electro-rap in the charts. A Jewel that today's Society should measure up to. The 90's, too awesome for this world!!

Yeah, actually I didn't like this song very much when it was released cause of "dry" drum machine that was typical to all eurobeat-style songs of that era.
Cobus is what happens when you practice a lot. This boy is so good at his craft it exude from every part of his being. I personally think he is one of the best drummers in the world.
Fuck me. I would never have thought that this song could gain any more funk. This was AMAZING! The cymbal-stopping game was especially strong in this, but the rest not second to it. Brilliant! Thanks!
As close to making music with drums as one can get. So fucking creative. From start to finish. It's always a treat to watch Cobus play.
Dude is incredible. I haven't played in years I miss my drum set so much and this brings back just passion for drumming and the creation of music.

I love heavy metal and punk, all this loud and I'll say this the people that go to those concerts can be some bad peeps but my first concert was children of bodem and I dislocated my shoulder in a mosh pit and a monster of a guy picked me up and walked me back to my seat so I was safe but that's the environment music creates big or small mean or kind we are all here to listen to the music that gives us power.
There was a time in my life where I believed that if music was taken from me I wouldn't survive.
Its powerful and its there for you when nothing else can be.
