    Amazing the quality of case and dial work these microbrands can achieve today. Spectacular looking pieces.

    I am all over the gold / sand dial model. I’ve grabbed a champagne dial in a solid and extremely affordable Bernhardt Binnacle Anchor 2 -high beat mvmt.
    This is a beauty budget piece from what I see and hear for any collection. Thanks so much RR for the quick shots cuz it’s definitely cool as hell.

    39 mm and 47 lug to lug. 5 colorways: Grey, Black, White, Salmon Copper and Golden Sands. Definetly trynna' snag up one in grey! Looks so cool with that dial texture.

    Not to same levels, but, I would consider Axios is to Zelos as Tudor is to Rolex.
    Sister or offshoot brand, however you want to call it. Axios seems to concentrate on more vintage/classic inspired designs. Where as Zelos is more modern and experimental. They should share technologies and production facilities and sources. So, the builds on both will be top notch. And, no surprise lume equally good on both.

    I’ve almost ordered the Axios Flagship several times...It is still high up on my list....I like this watch, however why an NH35?? Too thick in my opinion and a low end movement at a Premium Microbrand price...I’ll pass...Thanks for a great review!

    • @kasperpetersen6856
      @kasperpetersen6856 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gonna be 249.- at launch price, so way cheaper than the 600-700 usd Ironclad with SW200 and cheaper than the 500 usd Flagship. So for the price, fair with this movement.

    • @JohnBuckmaster-sw3wm
      @JohnBuckmaster-sw3wm 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kasperpetersen6856 I didn’t see where the launch price was 249… I still think it’s too thick but that’s as a result of the NH 35 bulky movement...249 Is a completely reasonable price. I’d rather it be 329 and have an STP1-11 Or at least 89,000 series Myota… Just a little tired of chunky watches but that’s just my opinion…

    Wow these look really good! Too bad they didn't go with a Miyota 9039. Their Flagship model remains one of my favorite, most comfortable watches. Did you review their latest version of the Ironclad? I think it was like $600, and had a Selita SW200 in it.

    Rob, how does it wear on the wrist? Are the lugs up high like on the submariner and the watch rocks back-and-forth, or are they low like on a Hamilton field watch where it snugs your wrist perfectly?

    Seiko Epson has to be making money hand over fist with the nh35/36.. lol. Citizen needs to get their head out of their behinds and lower the price point on their 9000 series. They would take over most of that market share of budget movements.
