alzathoth maybe not the silver shrouds cave, since he's a fictional character. How about Arlen built a version in a cave under Goodneighbor like he did the gun. He's had two hundred years to build it and gives it to you after the silver shrouds quest is complete. That way it is lore friendly.
Maybe awhile before I get to build it though I currently have several mods I'm working on. If your on PlayStation download my Goodneighbor playerhome clean mod. It allows you to decorate the building I built for my BOS mod and you can build your own structure on top of hotel Rexford.
Robert if you read what I wrote I say lore friendly. If you want a blank canvas download the GNplayerhome clean mod on ps4. I'll leave room and make it for you to scrap stuff but the silver shroud mobile the shroud computer among other things I will build. As far as weapons go they will be op for the vanilla game only if I add a quest to it where a high powered weapon is required. check out my RR goodneighbor safehouse mod the quest is almost impossible with vanilla and most modded weapons unless your character is extremely high level.
That is an excellent idea. I loved the Silver Shadow missions & role-play. It was cool when you freak out the Raiders. So having a Silver Shadow themed residence in Goodneighbour, is an awesome idea. 👍👍👍
A cool one would be "Institute Hideout" and it's basically a little condo with a basic bed, bathroom, and living room, but a door in the back leads to the basement, which is Institute themed and has surveillance screens of Goodneighbor.

It seems odd to me that dirty water in FO4 is more valuable and harder to find than pure water, which anybody who even slightly works with settlements has in enormous quantity. I guess Project Purity from FO3 was more successful than anybody expected. Next big invention in the Fallout universe: Water Depurifier, to convert your purified water into flavorful dirty water.
I was so disappointed when Diamond City was the only Major City in Fallout 4, I wish Goodneighbor was bigger, after you play the game for a while it just gets boring. Bethesda make the next Fallout game have more options like to be good or bad, I want to be bad, not a good person with a soft voice all the time.

I really do not understand why every companion and NPC depicts goodneighbour as a shithole, Drugs arent illegal so they cant complain the town is run by criminals, its not like a raider paradise and their leader is awesome.
I guess Bethesda didn’t establish well enough on the good neighbor being a shithole setting. They should’ve went for more of a free side feel where there’s drunks and junkies everywhere that always try to rob you every time you enter the city, throw some more hookers in there, and have more shittier building around for the junkies, drunks, hookers, and scavengers to squat at.
I love the Goodneighbor Condo Mod. It might be worth noting that there is also a vending system built into the floor terminals that allow you to buy/sell ammo, weapons, etc. Very handy!
I'm on ps4 and I have a simple mod that adds a work bench to goodneighbor. I build my own place and touch up the town itself. Adding trees, decorations, customizing Kleo and Daisy's places. Give the town my own spin

Specifically the Come Fly With Me quest where you help some ghouls escape into space, there is a nightkin with a cow's skull which he refers to as Antler, apparently taking orders from the skull.

I love the second one, although is a little broken in the sense that you don't need to go to anyone anymore. Everything you need is in the same place. Kinda breaks the ilussion of using your skills to unlock benches or go to places, because everything that you will need to use is already there. No medics, no barbers, no settlements for purified water, no unlocking the Local Leader to put new Workbenches were they aren't. It's beatiful, but kinda gives you everything in a silver platter. Maybe if it was like one of the homes of Skyrim, where that you could buy the property, and then you could unlock different rooms by paying more money. That way you could feel like you earn it.

I about died laughing when you walked up to the wall in the Scavenger's home, and Bobbi's voice just randomly reaches through to you, lmao. On another note, I loved how spacious and well organized the second player home was, with the sorting element and the linked workbenches. Even the note was nicely phrased, worded in a way Hancock would speak. The detail was incredible, with the Pickman's calling card on the basement bulletin board. And that tub! I loved that touch. Still, I think I will go for the spiral staircase apartment! I am currently holed up in the mod Cordless did for his Goodneighbor apartment. I can't recommend it enough! Cozy, spacious interior, and lore accommodating! Val's Place is wonderful, as well. Definitely more of a feminine dwelling, but incredibly cozy, ideally decorated, and the rooftop balcony is to die for! Great video, as always. :]
My first infirmary is a thing from fallout 3 in your megaton/tenpenny house. I used it a lot as it had no cool down or cost, so It kinda just saved my ass a lot.

I get where you're coming from about the lore of the game, but I make my player home pristine because I see it as the lore for Nora as she remembers a time when things were cleaner and it's her refuge from the rust and grunge of the commonwealth she finds herself in.😋
They kind of dropped the ball when making this game, they should have made more homes to get in the base game. Like 1. Roof tops 2. Apartments 3.Trailer parks/Camp sites 4. Subways

Not sure why Daisy is human in your game. Daisy is still very much the same flirtatious ghoul as always in my game. I have both the condo and eternal night installed and found zero overlaps or conflicts. These adjacent properties are quite compatible. I use the condo for myself and inactive companion housing and Eternal Night is for me and my active party. Thanks for featuring all these fine homes, Oxhorn. Yet another great video. The only difference between your Eternal Night and mine is that my exterior windows still look vanilla. Yet I do not consider this as a negative thing. While the new windows you show are beautiful, I find the shattered and worn exterior more immersive as it blends in with the surrounding buildings. The condo's crafting benches not only share inventory, you can contol every light in the home via the terminal that also features a vending system. Also, Daisy could charge me 10,000 or even 20,000 caps for the condo and I would still make the purchase at my earliest opportunity. It's just that good. Eternal Night being available at zero cost is a great feature though. :)
Antler is a "character" from Fallout New Vegas. A super mutant Nightkin named Davison has a secondary personality whom he talks to via a bleached bramin skull. Antler tells him (Davison) what to do and is his moral compass. The Courier will at some point ask Davison whom Antler is, to which he befuddled asks Antler what to say. His response is "Who Antler is, not important to you. Antler wants that you deal with me." It's a nice lil touch to the mod to show that it tyes to the Fallout New Vegas universe and I approve!
I don't really understand why people would like to live in a place that takes centuries to load like Goodneighbor. But to each their own. I'm a Sanctuary man myself.
Hey, Diamond City charges you 2000 caps for an empty warehouse space in the unmodded game, so that's a good price for Goodneighbor's fully furnished condo. BTW, the sorting system never puts Legendary items in the Legendary storage box; they always go to whatever other category they go to i.e. melee, projectile, energy.

The Eternal Night mod with its Art Deco feel is awesome. It does somehow break logic and lore, but I still love it. If You had an option to fund it Yourself, and the gradual reconstruction of it, I could percieve it as lore friendly. But it would have to come with an insane pricetag.
@Oxhorn When you were reviewing the Goodneighbor Condo u missed one feature. In the terminal on the first floor you have an intergrated shop that is available to the player and everything is placed in the eat omatic at the front door... Just thought you might want to know that because it is truly the neatest feature of that mod.
In the home with the spiral staircase (and Gary the ghoul) there is a bookcase door that covers another room in the basement. It's not huge but it makes the basement quite good for a two room home with the upper floors for 'other stuff'. It's not there in your video. Also, each floor has one room only - not a corridor with two rooms. That's with the 'Bigger Rooms' version of the mod. Ouch - the Condo and I had issues. I put most of my magazines in the magazine rack and... poof! Gone. Maybe they weren't gone but seemed to be nowhere and a re-entry might have sorted it out. But I wasn't risking it and loaded the save I made before using the house :) Just be careful folks.

I used to get so pissed off when people would shit on Good Neighbor. I built my settlements up to be huge as a giant middle finger to Diamond City.

I get where you're coming from about the lore of the game, but I make my player home pristine because I see it as the lore for Nora as she remembers a time when things were cleaner and it's her refuge from the rust and grunge of the commonwealth she finds herself in.😋

I found one called Goodneighbor Minutemen player home. It add's a really nice home to the top floor to the hotel Rexford with a lot of Minutemen designed shelves

Not sure why Daisy is human in your game. Daisy is still very much the same flirtatious ghoul as always in my game. I have both the condo and eternal night installed and found zero overlaps or conflicts. These adjacent properties are quite compatible. I use the condo for myself and inactive companion housing and Eternal Night is for me and my active party. Thanks for featuring all these fine homes, Oxhorn. Yet another great video.
The only difference between your Eternal Night and mine is that my exterior windows still look vanilla. Yet I do not consider this as a negative thing. While the new windows you show are beautiful, I find the shattered and worn exterior more immersive as it blends in with the surrounding buildings. The condo's crafting benches not only share inventory, you can contol every light in the home via the terminal that also features a vending system.
Also, Daisy could charge me 10,000 or even 20,000 caps for the condo and I would still make the purchase at my earliest opportunity. It's just that good. Eternal Night being available at zero cost is a great feature though. :)
Antler is a "character" from Fallout New Vegas. A super mutant Nightkin named Davison has a secondary personality whom he talks to via a bleached bramin skull. Antler tells him (Davison) what to do and is his moral compass. The Courier will at some point ask Davison whom Antler is, to which he befuddled asks Antler what to say. His response is "Who Antler is, not important to you. Antler wants that you deal with me."
It's a nice lil touch to the mod to show that it tyes to the Fallout New Vegas universe and I approve!
As a video idea, have you done skeletons of the commonwealth, such as what people were doing as the bombs dropped.

I literally never saw the first mod, and I love it more than any other fancy one. It's so much more immersive and has more character.

Hey, Diamond City charges you 2000 caps for an empty warehouse space in the unmodded game, so that's a good price for Goodneighbor's fully furnished condo. BTW, the sorting system never puts Legendary items in the Legendary storage box; they always go to whatever other category they go to i.e. melee, projectile, energy.

Hehehe first time stepped into Goodneighbor, I said, "I bet they got a brothel." Then I found out they didn't and said "What a miss opportunity...sigh"
The Eternal Night mod with its Art Deco feel is awesome. It does somehow break logic and lore, but I still love it. If You had an option to fund it Yourself, and the gradual reconstruction of it, I could percieve it as lore friendly. But it would have to come with an insane pricetag.

Every time I see a swan model placed in these homes, I want a mod where if you interact with it, Swan erupts from the water.
@Oxhorn When you were reviewing the Goodneighbor Condo u missed one feature. In the terminal on the first floor you have an intergrated shop that is available to the player and everything is placed in the eat omatic at the front door... Just thought you might want to know that because it is truly the neatest feature of that mod.
Goodneighbor would have been a good home place for players familiar with New Vegas.
Personally I wish Goodneighbor had a player house.
The upstairs bed in that second mod was yours because when you moused over the smaller bed with the sunlight over it the caption said Haylee's bed
In the home with the spiral staircase (and Gary the ghoul) there is a bookcase door that covers another room in the basement. It's not huge but it makes the basement quite good for a two room home with the upper floors for 'other stuff'. It's not there in your video.
Also, each floor has one room only - not a corridor with two rooms.
That's with the 'Bigger Rooms' version of the mod.
Ouch - the Condo and I had issues. I put most of my magazines in the magazine rack and... poof! Gone. Maybe they weren't gone but seemed to be nowhere and a re-entry might have sorted it out. But I wasn't risking it and loaded the save I made before using the house :)

There is three player homes. First helping austin and getting infected by the bubonic mole rat disease you can get the vault home. Second Kellogg’s house. (Diamond city.) Then the actual player home.(Diamond city.)
I think the Master bedroom on the top floor of The Good neighbor Condo belonged to the Triggerman. It's a gangsters hideaway.
