Thanks for this video. Playing with a M/KB for longish periods causes me some pain (getting older + RSIs from years of computer work sucks), but I can play games like FFXIV or ESO that have built-in controller support for hours without any issues. Coming back to WoW has really reminded me that I prefer to play via controller. I'm looking forward to trying this out! Do you have any additional addons besides ConsolePort that you recommend for enhancing the controller experience?
My d pad doesn't move like Urs mine just casts spells or food whatever is mapped to it. So when I need to move Round a menu I have to use right stick S mouse
No one has asked the question so I will. What addon is that that paints a literal target on the mobs? I want to know because in raids etc I bet it helps.
I have an old injury that doesn't let me play with mouse and keyboard competitively. I'm sure you can see in the few moments when i do use my mouse how absolutely terrible I am with it.
This addon is good for leveling yes but when it Comes to stuff you want to Play on lvl 110 like raids or pvp Forget it ^^ Ist just possible to use two modifiers..thats not enough and it feels like a Beta addon
I mean I've raided mythic, achieved cutting edge every raid tier with it. Perform decently enough in RBGs. And I can't feel my hands. Maybe it's not the addon holding you back, it's the player holding the controller. If you need more than 56 buttons, I dunno what to tell you. It's more than I used before consoleport.
Why can't you just be god-awful at using a controller in general? I saw a video of a guy playing a discipline priest with a controller inpvp and he was dominating so obviously your problem is between the keyboard and your chair
The fact of the matter is that keyboard isn't superior in any way. You can map everything on a controller that you could on a keyboard, it just may feel more awkward if you aren't comfortable using a controller. All in all it just takes time and a lot of investment into making a setup that works for you, which is one of the reasons WoW is a great game.
