- In this video, we'll be taking a look at the differences between Mazda CX-30's CBU vs CKD version and why now is the best time to buy the CKD model!
Also, I shared my personal experiences with this car after owning it for 2 years. Yes, the waiting game is real for those who ordered and had to wait months before being delivered, but trust me, all the wait will be worth it!
Thanks for watching, appreciate it as always!

*UPDATE 👇🏻*
Due to the recent price hike of Mazda cars, here are the current pricing for CX-30’s CKD variants:
2.0G - RM131,000
2.0G High - RM139,000
2.0G High+ - RM149,000
2.0G High+ Premium - RM159,000
In addition to the differences between CKD and CBU, I’ve noticed “driver attention alert” wasn’t included for the CBU version.

thanks for review, already like n subscribe 😂🎉. I’m the proud Soul Red CKD version 😊
Thanks for the sub, appreciate it a lot! Glad to hear that, the soul red really pops under the sun! 😍
Hey Hann, love your vids - great explanation on the differences.
Can I check whether do you have issues with squealing brakes when the car was new and mileage was low?
I’ve got a 2021 CBU with mileage of 8k km and I’m having squealing brake noise especially when driving low speed until stationery. I’ve checked with Mazda service centre and reason given was that mileage is still low and I haven’t really “break into” the brakes. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks!
Thanks Timothy! Haha guess what? I have the same issue as well! It has a very high pitch squealing noise when i break at low speeds too, went to Mazda SC to get it checked, they replaced the brake pads, but it didn’t work. Most probably will be replacing the disc brakes next month! Hopefully it will solve the issue 🙏🏻
@@WhenHannMeetsCarsthanks for the reply!
Seems like a common issue for CBUs? The Mazda staff assured me there’s nothing to worry about, but least to say, it’s quite annoying 😅
Will the change in disc brake be under warranty?
@@timothyleetekwang9699 Yup i assume its a common issue haha. I find it annoying too as it can be really loud especially in enclosed area. Correct, it’s all covered under warranty 👍🏻
@@WhenHannMeetsCarshi bro, wanted to check if you have any updates on this? Managed to change your brake disc and whether did it help? Thanks! (I’m still having the same issue now)
@@timothyleetekwang9699 Hi Tim, I was supposed to go there to get it replaced but they tested the brakes again, and can’t find the high pitch noise, hence didn’t change. But I’ve recently manage to just record the noise as proof from inside and out of the car, hopefully the next time they’ll fix the issue.
thanks bro
I wish can buy this car in the future.. tak dapat beli baru, 2nd pun okey 😅
Mesti boleh! I believe you can 👊🏻
can you switch off the emergency brake thing?
what about the fuel consumption? could you please share about it too?
Fuel consumption isn’t too bad, for mine it’s 6.6L/100km 👍🏻
The most beautiful car for me...
It sure is beautiful 😍 thanks for watching!
Bro, the new on the road without insurance for H+P variant is RM161,819, not RM156k, don't confuse your audiences. And CKD quality is not match with Japan Standard
Thanks for commenting! You’re right, I’ve forgotten to include the recent price hike of RM2,500+ on every variant. Also, I’m just sharing my experiences with my CBU car, that’s all. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
CKD as good as CKU ??

And slap on ayam parts 😂 for low ballers
CBU Japan vs CKD Inokom. Big difference.
Even cx5 CKD issues.
The attitude of japanese workers vs lek lu sap kok lu ckd workers. Look at Honda Melaka.
Look at Wheels Network how Mazda cars are made in Japan.
No comparison. CBU anytime.
