  • Hello and welcome back to Mickey's Flightdeck.
    In this video I will show you how I built my lights panel with self returning start switches and connected it to the flightsimulator with MobiFlight and Prosim737. This section will be part of my Boeing 737-800 overhead panel.
    You can find all the needed files to cut out and engrave your panel as well as the 3D print files for the switches in the member section of my website.
    Also many other plans for building your own homecockpit can be found on www.mickeys-flightdeck.de.

    That's the best and simplest construction of the automatic start switches I have seen. You are a construction genius Michael;)

    I'm a little bit late here... But I think those landing lights switches (in this 737 version) are 3-positions (extended but off should be missing). Please correct me if I'm wrong. But thats a great work you've done.

    Great panel! I really like the solution for your start switches. Have you considered making the extendable landing light switches three position (Off-Ext-On)? I’m not sure if it is supported in software though. One thing I’ve seen in real NG and Classics is a spring-loaded flap behind the four landing light switches so the pilot can turn on all the landing lights by moving the flap. Obviously, you can just use your hand instead, but I was wondering if you had any thoughts about it.

    Great work! You are my inspiration to build my own flight sim! I just wanted to know how you got the ProSim license and how much it costs.

      If you want to know more about the non commercial licence of prosim, take a look at their website in the enthusiasts section.

    what's the offset number "SERVO" for engine left or right? 66E0 not running with mobiflight...

    • @Mickeys_Flightdeck
      @Mickeys_Flightdeck  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a little bit more complex. There is no offset for an engine servo. I'm using a single bit of an offset to get the state of the starter solenoid from prosim. It is all explained in this video.

    Wich Flight Simulator are you using for your homecockpit ?

      At the moment I'm working with Prepar3d. But only because it is starting faster. Later it will be MSFS.

    Where can I buy the 3D printed parts please because I don't have a 3D printer

      These parts are so designed by myself. So you can't buy them. You can just take the files and let someone print them for you.

      The big ones you find on Aliexpress. With the 17 mm long shaft.

      Danke dir. Das mit der Werbung sollte so eigentlich gar nicht sein. Ich schalte immer nur eine Anzeige zu Beginn. Leider ermöglicht TH-cam die Deaktivierung übriger Werbung erst nach der vollständigen Analyse des Videomaterials. Warum auch immer. Darauf wollte ich gestern um zwei Uhr nachts aber nicht mehr warten. Jetzt gibt es wieder unterbrechungsfreien Genuss.
