Back about 2007-08 My ex boyfriend was driving up in Lower Burrell Pa , Westmoreland county..by the Penn state campus and Woodpeckers bar area…It was approximately 11:30 pm. A brisk fall evening ,as he was keeping his eyes on the road he has his windows down to catch the cool fall smells and sounds but also very carefully watching for whitetail deer as they are plentiful .. I believe the road is either 40 mph and sometimes down to 25 due to the windy road ,woods and wildlife, safety in general… Looking straight ahead a Lg black figure runs No basically took 2 strides ,while running across the road..Ang Sensei ,a 8th degree Master in martial arts stopped the car to see to his left about ten foot in the woods a huge dark 10’-12’ black/brown creature staring back at him..Ang was not afraid but amazed at the beauty but scary plain as day… Ang is an avid hunter and has been raised in the woods on these Appalachian trails and areas ,and No it was not a black bear..He is well aware of the size of a black bear, and this thing stood taller than any black bear ever could…As he was sitting in amazement the thing ran into the thicket ,it all happened so fast that he froze and did not grab his camera in time..He dis go back the following morning knowing exactly what he saw….it had rained pretty heavily a few hours after the incident and due to the downpour he could not find any footprints.. He mentioned it the next day to a few local cops in the area they actually stated they had a couple of calls for strange screams and sounds last night around the same time he saw the creature(Bigfoot).. Now the area does have coyotes and every other creature in the woods, it was not coyotes…Ang had contacted one of the larger Bigfoot societies and gave them this information… Till this day he knows and believes in what he saw…I believe him he is a very honest creditable person.. So as for your story ,that’s only a few counties away..I BELIEVE IT WAS A BIGFOOT… I also am a avid hunter and will be 59 on the 22nd… I know there’s no way possible he saw or heard a black bear… Any way thank you for your story..Sending positive energy ☯️LOVE & LIGHT from The North hills area of Pgh Pa..Blessed be all….

Have a remote camp in cameron county pa. Pretty much nobody around for 5 miles. It was 2am in morning and I was on the porch and out of nowhere I heard a loud growling noise from quite a ways away. It was weird because Ive been hunting in these woods for over 50 years and never heard anything like that. I know what elk and bear sound like but this was like a blood curtling growl. Happened about 5 years ago.

Speaking from experience…..when a Sasquatch “screams”, it can only be described as the absolute loudest roar, or scream you can ever imagine. You can feel the “bass” reverberate in your head and chest. It’s like standing in front of the speakers at a Rock concert…It’s like standing in front of a locomotive blasting its horn……It’s like the T-Rex in Jurassic park, chasing the truck. It’s laughable reading “fox make loud noises “….”deer make loud screaming noises”……..no…no…no. A scream so loud, the biggest person you can think of couldn’t possibly come close to making you “feel” the sound….or the Bass. I’m 54, this was by far the most terrifying thing I have ever encountered.
If you think it’s easy writing this…it’s not. I take it very serious, and if anyone reading this thinks I sat here making up some big tall tale……Just to get laughed at and ridiculed by people that think Bigfoot is silly……use your head, be logical.

    • @ALLLL4him
      @ALLLL4him 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Not just the scream. The growl too. Up on horseback one year we had to stop and fix a saddle. Horses became uneasy and snorting stomping wanting to bolt. All sudden we felt it more than we heard it. Horses went nuts. The standing in front of a speaker is best words to use to explain it. Iv been around all sorts of critters including big cats none of them hit that type of growl. Even a badger didn’t come close. It really is scary. Not many people experience that.

I was looking for bowed trees pinned to the ground , structures or even tree breaks. I didn't see any. That doesn't mean they are not in the area, it could just mean it was passing through. The story told does not say what time of year either.
Oddly enough I've seen a Sasquatch in one real estate listing for acreage near Love Valley, NC last year. Realtor probably never even noticed it as he took the pictures to list this property. It was grayish black just to the right of a path going up hill, standing just inside a thicket of trees. The sunlight filtering through the leaves made me do a double take because I could see a head , part of a chest, the upper left shoulder and most of the left arm. I even enlarged that one pic of it. Suffice to say that property was crossed off my wish list :)

I am a country girl very well familiar with wildlife especially where I live in NEPA. I can tell you Bigfoot exists between my own personal experiences and those of others I know who have had experiences and pictures (that I have seen and that have gone missing) there is more out there than what people know and understand. I think there's a good possibility the person saw Bigfoot that day. The spending of the night makes sense to me especially if said creature observed and left in theory it would be safer to lock down at your camp than try to make a run for it. I find all cryptid stories fascinating whether they are real or fabrications. Thank you for sharing this type of content! I look forward to seeing what else you share. I think it would be awesome if you are the one to ultimately find and capture any of the cryptids on film. Stay safe out there on your travels. Have a wonderful weekend!

Cliff, The camper did possibly observe a bigfoot. Don't forget that PA is the third best state to observe them. And, being a creature that lives its entire life in wilderness areas, a bigfoot can move very far and rapidly through the underbrush and growth. I would assume that they do migrate from area to area for various reasons like food, shelter, mates and solitude from human activity.
Another commenter noted you should carry protection, more than bear spray. I fully agree.

Could've been a bear coming down the trunk of a tree, hence the 8' height appearance if it wasn't quite down the whole way, & the barrel chested appearance, which could've actually been part of the trunk. The screams could've been a fox, as they definitely sometimes let out a very loud warning scream that sounds exactly like a woman screaming. We have them here in our part of PA. They sometimes run through our yard, & we've heard them scream like that several times when they've come through. One time my son was exploring a cemetery at night, & all of a sudden he heard one, & that really freaked him out since it sounded like a woman screaming! 😂

Hey Cliff, I heard the guitar and knew right away it could not be Bigfoot. I see him, (if he/she exists) playing the 8 foot long hollow log on the ground with two clubs to Artie Shaw's hit single "Jungle Drums" . The camper saw a bear if he saw anything at all. By June in our area of Berks the forest is taking on all kinds of new greenery. 35 yards is 105 feet so "anything" that far away seen through the brush/bush/trees/vines/stumps/etc. could be.........."anything" ..but most likely a standing black bear. Screams in the night could be one creature taking his/her prey for dinner. Footprints? Well April/May/ are rainy months in our area a bear walking in mud produced what he saw? Still here with an open mind but need far more details B 4 I'll say --You know what, that could be _________________???

I have two encounters with Bigfoot at Keystone Power Dam in Indiana, PA. One, I saw it standing in a garbage dumpster throwing rubbish out all over the parking lot. It didn't see me as I was climbing up the hill at the boat livery to get my car. It stood up and sniffed the air. I slid back down the hill to my boat and stayed out on the water all night. The other, the creature was on shore at the boat livery barring me from exiting the water. It even threw a couple of beach ball sized rocks at me, until I reversed my motor and headed back onto the lake.
I also, had an encounter with my mom, Dad, bro. back around 1968 in our backyard in Penn Hills, of all places.

Love route 183. A few years ago I was camping in an area close to Bigfoot Territory near Salt Fork State Park in Ohio. It was late at night and I had a fire going and was sitting by it reading a book and drinking a beer. Around 11:00 p.m. I heard a strange rustling in the trees behind my tent. Then I heard low guttural growls. I stood up, turned around and as I did a huge hairy creature emerged from the woods not more that 25 feet from me. It stood 8 feet tall and had to weigh in excess of 450 pounds. I stood motionless not knowing what to do when the creature dictated the narrative. It slowly lifted its right hand and pointed to the beer I was holding in my hand. I immediately realized the beast wanted a beer. And why not? It was at least 85 degrees and so humid you could cut the air with a knife. I popped a brewsky and gave it to him and motioned for him to come sit by my fire. He capitulated and as we sat by the fire I lit a cigarette. He became agitated and started motioning to my mouth and then to his mouth. Damn, the dude wanted a smoke. So I lit one for Bfoot and we continued socializing, drinking our beer and having a few smokes. Eventually Bfoot's eyelids began to droop. The beer was making him sleepy. He arose, waved goodbye and walked away, whistling as he disappeared into the woods. I didn't encounter the creature again, but after that I never went into the woods without my Bud Light and a carton of Marlboros.

35 yards is approximately 105 ft. That’s pretty close to mistake a bear for a bigfoot. But I have good eyesight so maybe that’s why.

  • @k62g58

That engineered concrete looked like an anchor or counter weight of some sort. Timber? Mining? The whole Bigfoot phenomenon is something I'm somewhat skeptical about, but it's not like we have everything figured out in the world. I take them at their word. The screaming sound certainly can be attributed to animals as others have suggested. I remember being amazed by how feral cats can sound like a human scream.

I've seen a few black bears at night, but I never saw one in the wild in daylight, until about two years ago. The thing that stood out the most, was how black it was. My point is I don't think a black bear would be mistaken for a brownish figure.

MY wife is from Harrisburg pa. We lived there about a year and I used to hike the app. Trail a good bit.I would always see trees stacked or propped up and tree breaks and stuff that definitely weren’t from hunters. I’m a bow hunter and turkey hunter. Have been since I was 5 , but I would always find fish carcasses miles away from rivers and streams. No bear or raccoon or eagle or whatever is gonna drop a fish , and not get it maybe here and there but I’d see this a lot. And some would be pretty good sized catfish maybe 25-30 inch’s I’d guess by there skeletons ,could always tell by ther spines on there fins. But I could never figure out what would be leaving fish around. Otters will carry fish a ways but they don’t carry them miles away from a river with no other water that direction . Could been hikers mb but definitely not the tree breaks that are 9 feet high and as big around as a baseball. That trail connects the south to north east to Canada. There are lots of 4 and 500 lb bears on that trail that are rarely seen. Definitely travel corridor for all other wildlife on the trail to.
