In one of my builds, I ran the JP23 v2 @2 ohms on a factory 130 amp alternator. I had the big 3 upgraded and an AGM battery. It held voltage very well with some rare dimming of headlights. Once I updated the subwoofer and started running the same amp @ 1 ohm, I had to add a LTO 6 to keep the voltage stable above 13.
Hi JP I ordered a Jo 23v2 and in the back where the epoxy glasses is it came cracked, and it cracked where the screws hold it down I called customer service two times send them pictures and they said there’s nothing they can do about it. so now I’m stuck with an amplifier. cause my customer didn’t want it like that. Can I return it or can that epoxy glass be replaced? I ordered it a week ago.
what about the people that live in cold climat. Is there somthing that we should use insted of lithium? In the winters here it gets down to -30 below and my car can end up sitting for 6-7hrs out there possibly more. I have a 6000 watt unfinnished system and am trying to figure out my power setup.
LTO is the only battery chemistry that does not freeze and can work great in very cold climates! So your only (and best) option is lithium titanate! And for a 6000 W system, one section of lithium titanate will not be enough, so you will have to spend money on two sections)))
I'm running a jp8 and jp84 in a buick regal with a big 3 on a stock electrical with a sundown 12 sa classic. Which one of the new down4sound subs would be a good match
The jp23 v2 pulls a shit ton of amperage currently in the process of getting ready to throw a battery in my trunk of my Yukon I have two under hood with the big three going to be putting a third in the trunk for the jp23 v2 than soon purchasing a 240 output alternator.
@@exttinct_lordz2898 ok, you are good, anything 05 and up has a voltage control regulation in the computer so there’s other things you have to do to keep that high voltage
remember it's electrical if u overload a a house socket what happens it kicks of the breaker it's over loaded only thing in car it strains the alt and clipping because amp don't have enough juice.
I have a factory 125a alternator with the big 3 and ill have 1/0 on a ct sounds atv2-2300.1 and also have an agm under the hood. I know ill need more electrical to run that amp but will the d4s lto 6.0 be perfect to add to my system in a 2018 toyota corolla?
I have a 2013 Ford explore from factory. It has a 175amp alternator and I have a JP23 1.5v and have a big 3 upgrade and I have all 0 gauge wire will I be okay
I had a audi a4 120a alternator, sundown u15 and a jp23 v1.5, it dropped down to 12.9 volt and stayed there, electrical still needs to work hard but with a 175a alternator you should in my opinion be fine for a daily setup
can anyone help me? I installed my big 3 and my car will get charging system malfunction causing me to have to stop. it happens randomly while driving. ive tried a new battery & wire brushing grounds. im using factory ground locations aswell.
Check your cable coming off your alternator. I had the same and the problem was a bad wire coming from the charging post of the alternator. Once I swapped out the wire the charge system fault stopped. The issue is the pcm is not seeing 14 volts thus giving out a charge system fault stopped
possible not charging grounds and possible alt already going out once you added better grounds and hot alt letting you know hey iam not charging or belt is going bad loosing tension

Not a professional but i am 100% certain you can replace that piece of acrylic, with anything you want that you can cut out in the same thickness

now do u count your A/B amp in with your numbers when picking alternator/battery or do u just count the sub amp power/watts
yes it's drawing current as well u cant ovelook any thing pulling current .
