There are lot of options. If it shows increased rebar it means the column is attracting more moment. You can either increase the rebar dia, change column configuration of the nearby columns and beams, change the orientation of columns etc. Go check out this video. There is a load part. It's actually better not to model slabs unless you really want to apply thermal and other load. As per the load path, load from slab will go to beam, from beam to column and from column to foundation. So yes you can apply load as udl on beam but you need to correctly calculate it. Your explanation is good. You are doing great work. But you take slab thickness 0.20 (8 inches) slab for G+2 story ..... And one more you should add staircase and its loading..... By the way nice work

Sir what we do when column shows a more r/f in top floor column then bottom column
There are lot of options. If it shows increased rebar it means the column is attracting more moment. You can either increase the rebar dia, change column configuration of the nearby columns and beams, change the orientation of columns etc. Go check out this video. well im new to STAAD.pro but shouldn't the live load acting as floor load on the slab not as uniform load on the beam???
There is a load part. It's actually better not to model slabs unless you really want to apply thermal and other load. As per the load path, load from slab will go to beam, from beam to column and from column to foundation. So yes you can apply load as udl on beam but you need to correctly calculate it.
