Headsculpt. SL customs did the best 2002 Tobey Peter I've ever seen

I am quite disappointed by this figure, but I love the notebook it comes with. The Costume Montage song from Spider-Man 1 played in my head right when you opened it.

Is this great? No. is it terrible? Far from it. I think it sits somewhere in between. They clearly had very good intentions and their hearts were in the right place trying to deliver something special and different I just think they fell short. This is why I love this channel no stones left unturned and your left with a clear decision wether or not to purchase a figure. Great review thanks Justin.

I also really dig the lighter blue, I know it's not accurate but I always prefer that with my Spideys, the wrestling suit kit bash also turned out really good looking!!!

I personally think it isn't good enough even sh figuarts friendly neighborhood Spidey has a better Tobey headsculpt and the blue parts of the suit should have been darker

Just got this figure recently because of your review🙌🏼I know there are flaws with this figure but I honestly don’t mind them at all, I paired this figure with the Spider-Man 3 hot toy head and it paired together like a dream! Also I’m definitely gonna have to steal that awesome idea you had with getting a second body to display the other outfit, 10/10 review 🙌🏼

I'm curious what you think of the fact that Hot Toys was going to do a normal figure for Spider-Man 2099 but then changed back to a soft suit figure after feedback. While I think the soft suits look really amazing, I dislike how they limit articulation, both in range of movement and by the fact that keeping a pose too long can damage the suits, and I prioritize articulation so when I heard we lost a chance at a 2099 with better articulation, I was pretty disappointed. How do you feel about it?

I feel like this figure is only worth it to have as the wrestling suit with the mask on. The likenesses are pretty bad, I think Toybiz did better with their 6" action figures back when the movies were COMING OUT like 20 years ago. The limited hand selection is pretty poor too. They shoulda gone all in on the wrestling suit and ditched the rest.

Yeah, this one doesn't look very good IMO. The webs aren't as raised as they're supposed to be and i don't think the head looks at all like Tobey. The lack of masked head is also weird. Like i get this is Peter Parker but if you're gonna do that why not do him just in his civvie clothes instead?
This, as with the Homelander you reviewed a while ago, looks like a cosplayer.

This is good, but not great, i dont like how there isnt a masked head and the blue goes a bit too far on the sharp point, i HATE that there arent any other hands other than 1 hand each and only the hair looks accurate. The lines on the back are SUPER noticable unless you only show him on the front, nonetheless, this figure is good.

great review! in my opinion.. this looks like it was made 8 years ago.. the suit looks cheap, vibrant, but cheap. the lack of extra hands and bad articulation along with the head sculpt just not looking good.. this figure is way too outdated for just coming out recently. im more than happy with my thunder toys toby and wont loose any sleep over not picking this one up

I have a weird opinion on this, it looks kind of bad but it also looks kind of nostalgic and good, I’m not sure how to explain it, I was gonna pre order this but I decided not to as I purchased the thunder toys, I’m pretty glad I got that instead. I still really wanna get a wrestling suit Spider-Man though.
