Hey look here we are again with another Gmod ARG! Sorry, I mean Source ARG, or TF2 ARG, or Team Fortress 2 ARG... Which is really a webseries with maybe an unfiction element somewhere. It's in a category of it's own, kind of like Anomidae and the INTERLOPER series, only not as good. It's also reminiscent of Gunslingerpro2009 and BadwaterVideos2009 in that it involves TF2! Anyways I've once again strayed away from the Hypixel Skywars funny moments of old. But I gotta say, some of the jokes in this one are downright hilarious. This isn't a Minecraft ARG either, but who knows, perhaps we'll cover another one soon! This video's a sort of follow-up to the decay of the Gmod ARG genre, inspired by Richter Overtime and stellarr 1 to look at some myself. I also mention EmpLemon and meme about Pyrocynical and Emesis Blue! Also stellarr 1 made a Half-Life 2 analog horror or something and I thought it was sick you should check it out. "Scout Shako" is probably in reference to a very old meme about a very dapper demoman trying to sell a "Stout Shako" hat for 2 refined metal, what that has to do with the video itself beyond that pun, no clue.
In "trauma" the dead body is of a heavy.
In "?? !" yeah thats the pyro, no doubt.
IDK maen... even with The Thing as context, this strikes as such a convoluted way to tell a story that even after having watched everything myself i feel dissatisfied.
I would like to add, that it's not just any ol' dapper Demoman, it's the iconic Demopan loadout.

The amalgamation on the "Scout shako" video is the engineer not the soldier due to his orange glove (from what I see, I'm not 100% sure)

Yeah, I noticed that detail about the heavy one too. Honestly, I think that's a pretty cool idea to take the very recognizable meet the team videos and subvert them like that. Shame the rest of the "arg" sucked, though.

I want to make an objection to the name "gmod arg"; "source arg"; "tf2 arg" etc.... and more generally, the idea of "arg" being used for the vast majority of these projects.
"ARG" is an acronym for Alternate Reality Game. This name has two elements. "Alternate Reality" and "Game."
Alternate Reality implies that the ARG takes place in a reality that is alternate from our own, with "Alternate" specifically implying some connection to our reality, as opposed to something explicitly distinct. Let's use Anomidae's Interloper Source ARG (Which is an ARG, unlike this one (so it seems)). In that series, the ARG takes place in a reality identical to our own, with one change; that being the Interloper context, the command, the demos, et cetera. It's still Half Life, it's still the Source Engine. It's media that exists in our world, being used to tell the story of another. This video series fits the description.
I've been writing this while listening to the video, and you bring up the point I'm making at the end, but I will continue.
The second component is "Game," and that's where this video series fails to be an ARG. "Game" requires interactivity, it requires the audience to do something, the core feature of a game is the audience being a driver of the narrative. This is not the case here. There are no (meaningful) hidden messages, nothing for the audience to do between uploads, no tangible way to affect the story. It's not a game. Compared to Interloper, again, in that the audience has a role. They can scour the internet for hidden uploads, like the "Misty" demo, they can pick apart files like cstrike and fortress, Anomidae specifically has a channel in his discord dedicated to giving suggestions for the investigation, which have been used by the characters when investigating.
Without a "Game" to make an ARG, all you have is a Source (or other medium) Horror series. (These, of course, can be done exceptionally well. But this does not work if you're pretending that there's a mystery to be solved.)

is it just me or does the heavy in the dark room mimic the exact movements of heavy from meet the pyro?
could also suggest something more sinister since he does say hes scared of the pyro in the meet the pyro video, and considering that in the video where hes keneling down, the boot tapping behind him seems to be the pyro.

Theres a cool Gmod ARG called "The survival of all" and its one really unique gmod ARG out there and a love leter to a old gmod movie "war of the servers" and its still going.

The number broadcast might be the letters too, it's the number of the letter
TF2 is set in New Mexico and KZRM was 96.1 in northern New Mexico till 2016. It also started broadcasting a few months before Team Fortress Classic Came out in 1999. It is probably the "Radio Station" from broadcast which seems to be a number station, normally used for espionage based comunication.
