    I love your channel a company is swapping my 1982 Caddy 1.6D to a 2.0L ABA non turbo. I was looking for a bit more HP and reliability.

      Supper dependable engines too, not that 1.6’s aren’t but nice choice!! Thanks for watching, appreciate the support! Cheers

      Love your channel. I have a 1982 caddy 1.6D that I blew up. I have a company swapping in a 2.0 liter gas ABA non turbo. It’s still a major swap. A bit more HP and reliable.

      Yep sure did! New owner bought it up there and moved down here... and ended up finding me! He's pretty fired up to get this on the road this summer and I'm glad to help! Should be making a channel comeback very soon for some final work before it rolls out the door! So stay tuned for that!! Appreciate the comments as always and thanks for watching!!

      Hey VWarmy! I'm the current owner. Do you happen to know if your friend had any aftermarket internals on the aba? Cheers!

    Just subscribed, great video! I have a caddy that I dropped an ABA in and have been trying to figure out the wiring harness for the aba and how to go about making it work with the mk1 wiring. My aba is obd1, I have the harness and cpu out of the donor. A friend of mine gave me a fuse panel, cpu, and a hacked up harness out of one of his projects and I was wondering if I can use that fuse panel with the obd1 harness. (I hate wiring)

    Hey, I have a serious question. I'm debating on a 2.0 or vr6 swap? Can you make a video on pros and cons of the 2 engines?

    When deleting the charcoal canister what should I do with the line?

    Hey Mystery Garage, I'm looking to replace a rusty fuel tank in my mk1. I've heard that some don't have baffles and can lead to fuel starvation in cornering. Which tank did you use for this build, and was it baffled? Thanks!

    Hey man im swapping an aba into my mk1 rabbit I'm using the original trans and shift linkage from the mk1 but the shift linkage is interfering with the downpipe have you encountered this issue and how did you solve this??

    Did you just run the fuel pump and delete the fuel accumulator?

    • @MysteryGarage
      @MysteryGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly! Simplified it, since it’s an Aba anyways! Works great! Did the same on my VR6 swap, no issues there either! Thanks for watching! Appreciate the support!
