      Trump had negotiated a deal with the American shale oil producers to replenish the US strategic reserves at a very economical rate. Biden put an end to that. Now OPEC is standing up to the US. Some time in the future, the dollar may become weaker. Europe is industrially debilitated at least temporarily. So it is far from clear that US policies are serving their national interests well.

    Another thing that I would like to point out is that, Putin smartly engineered Russian economy to withsand the sanctions over the years, he intentionally only annexed Crimea and not launch an invasion of the rest of the parts in 2014, he did that, because he knew that Russian economy won't withstand the sanctions, he tricked the west to put up some sanctions in 2014, that made Russia n economy sanction proof by 2020 and then he made Europe very much dependent on Russian oil and gas over the years to have some leverage, and invested deeply in fuel reserves in middle east, so that Europe won't be able to turn to them. He basically made choke points of Europe.

      America did everything it is able to not allow India to buy Russian oil

    • @DevashishGulati
      @DevashishGulati ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rupertmurdoch469 If America did everything they can, India would not be able to do it. Consider what America is doing now, the indirect methods, and they are pushing the NATO allies in joining them too. For example:
      1. Selling F16 to Pakistan and giving the same answer India gave while buying from Russia.
      2. Giving the grand welcome to Pakistan’s army chief on his visit to USA, which even the Pakis didn’t expect.
      3. Alt news reporters were nominated for the Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize, simply for being anti Indian government. Time magazine covered them extensively and presented them as top contenders. No one bothered to check that their irresponsible reporting literally created problems in India which did not lead to peace. It was obvious that they are not going to win, but they were highlighted to make a point.
      4. UK and Germany openly criticising India for not taking anti-Russia stand. Do you think all of this is a co-incidence? USA knows that UK and Germany are among the top countries of foreign remittances for India, which are a part of the NATO. If they become anti-India, it will hurt India’s economy bad.
      All this arm-twisting is being done now for the UN voting. Do you think it could not have been done earlier if USA really wanted to?
      It’s just that it would not be a good look for the USA that they are letting things happen just to hinder China’s influence in the region, because there is no other good reason to explain it by the USA’s perspective, except that they want to keep the global power that they have to stay in control for own gains, which makes sense geopolitically, but not for popular public opinion.

    China's belt and road is a defensive as well as economic mechanism to avoid a maritime blockade by India through the malaka straights or US via Western Pacific. China's strategy is to prevent centuries of humiliation by the West. India can learn a thing or two from China and stop anti China stance

    I would also like to say my current theory: mankind cannot evolve further until it takes the next step which in my opinion is finding a common understanding of the value of human life. The healthier people are; physically, mentally, spiritually, the stronger countries can be. Remember dream works movie Monsters? When monsters would get kids to scream to get was it energy? That is like oppression and control. Then the Monsters found they could get more energy (?) from kids laughter. Same idea. Healthier people come from being valued to help everyone be their full potential. Until we change our focus to human value, we will not grow and keep living on repeat.

    What's your thoughts on this? OR will bharat tackle it successfully?

    #AskAbhijit Namaste sir, could you please share your sources which keep you informed on geopolitics? I would love to know more about geopolitics and current affairs through sources that you vouch for because 90% of the sources that I find on google are against the Indian perspective and against your perspective. Could you also explain why sources like wikipedia, new york times, etc are not reliable? They aren't owned by any western government so I don't understand why they would be biased towards the western countries and biased against eastern countries.

    Isn't these things tell us about the old connection of so called aryans and dravidians? (It actually demolished the aryan dravidian divide)

    China not doing well should be looked in to the context, by world standard they are still the 2nd in the world, whether there will be a war or not can only be an assumption, yes every country prepares for worst case scenario and India should not be an exception in this and we are on the right track to improve on all fronts.
