Yaaay Swisse man great to see you back carrying the square ground message. Your close up detail is the best. Will get one of these made up, thanks for your time and effort.
Simple and brilliant. You make things so you can work standing up, I love it.
Ah, that is great idea, I gonna make one like that.
Thanks.
Thank you so much for the great information! I must find this setup vise. Also will guess at those size of the vise tool made? Thanks for for the great job and idea for filling.
👍👍👍👍👍 молодец 🤝🤝
Topp… fast like a snakee
これはいいですね!!
Bonjour vous pouvez me donner la référence de votre gabarit pour les limiteurs de profondeur ?

I just had an idea about filing - an experiment you could try.
In the U.S. we can't get vallorbe chainsaw files, except for the triangular ones. I'm not sure why. I was thinking about goofy filing, and how some of the vallorbe videos explain that it's the side cutter that cuts the wood, and the top cutter is what peels the chip away. With goofy filing, it seems that the curved portion of the file against the straight side profile of the tooth results in a slightly hollow ground edge doing the cutting. Maybe this is best - but it would also seem to be more fragile. The idea I had is this: flip the file 90 degrees, use the straight portion of the file on the side cutter, and the curved portion of the file on the top cutter. I wonder how it would compare to a typically goofy filing technique.
Well did you give that a try? I filed now about whatever 30 profiles to test them. Now i have filled the roof with a 90° 5mm file at a 45° angle the sidewall i did also in a 45° angle. The gullet i took out with a round file. That is a very good pattern. A only round or square pattern is strage to me because the round file rassles much more then like the square pattern.
But best you can do is thinking about buying a Simington 451 or something likewise. A machine with a grinding stone speeds up the proces. I made a Clone of such a machine with a sewing machine motor you can adjust the speed godsend! Well a feedback would be nice =)
I’im confused because I watch you file square chains with the double end file (don’t know the actual name of this file, there are actually six sides.. two flat and two intersecting sides on each end adjacent to the flats)and also see you using a three sided (triangular) file to do the same work. Is it an either or operators choice? Or is there a reason when to use one instead of the other? In other videos I thought the part on the vice jaws was diffferent, but yet used to stage the chain. Is that an available part for purchase? Thank you.
Super videos, pleines d'infos!
Est-il possible d'affuter des chaines en 3/8 picco avec une lime plate?
quelles limes conseillez vous?
Merci
