@drm2364 I didn't say he was a turnover machine. I said he cracks under pressure. He may throw an interception on a poorly thrown ball that's tipped. Run to prematurely out of panic before the play has time to develop, or miss the receiver all together, incomplete passes he throws a ton of them. He has flashes of greatness, just as Tony Romo did, thats why I compare the two because they're the same to me. Tony wasn't a bad quaterback, he was decent stat wise. However, quaterbacks like Ewers do just good enough to be average but fold or change the way they play when the pressures on. It's like they can't handle it.
Clemson. Keep in mind, the ranked opponents that Texas played all fell out of the rankings when they played them. Not Texas fault a team they play can’t stay ranked
Ewers’ interception numbers look way worse when you look at how many tipped balls he’s thrown. He unloads the ball too often and too low without considering if he has clearance. He has missed opportunities for a run because he’s so committed to throwing the ball. His ankle situation has limited that option further. Yes, he makes some amazing and seemingly impossible completions. He also makes some incredibly poor decisions. Georgia has Ewers figured out. The Longhorn receivers need to get better coverage separation on their routes while the offensive line needs to provide Ewers with more time. Otherwise, keep the ball on the ground or send in Manning…who’s not afraid to run. I always wonder which Quinn Ewers will show up and in which quarter will he get in his groove.
@ Clearly Quinn’s fault. And exactly what led the Longhorns to be in such a desperate situation where a single field goal is the difference between W or L? Knowing full well that Bert Auburn is only 2 for 3 on field goals? What preceded that one act of desperation? TWO interceptions on Ewers. No touchdowns until the fourth quarter…Ewers went 27/46 on completions….and not when it counted. Bert Auburn was the leading scorer for the game with 13 points. He did his part. Ewers didn’t deliver.
Will Quinn Ewers lead Texas to a win vs. Arizona State?
Lead? No. Quinn manages the game, he can’t win a game. Typically, a teams best players is a QB, Texas’ best QB is on the bench.

I’m ready for Manning to start
Why? Quinn did fine in the Clemson game
You'll have to wait until next season
Go Devils!
Forks up horns down. Second half ASU pulls away with Skattaboo🔱

Delusional 😅😂
Name Texas best Win
They did lose to Georgia ×2
They barely beat Vanderbilt
OU gave the 21 points in the 2nd quarter
I cant think of 1 best win
And after they whoop asu , people will say they still haven’t beat anyone
Clemson. Keep in mind, the ranked opponents that Texas played all fell out of the rankings when they played them. Not Texas fault a team they play can’t stay ranked
ZeroU gave Texas nothing. They just got dominated.
I think Asu will win
Bet the farm then
Ewers’ interception numbers look way worse when you look at how many tipped balls he’s thrown.
Missed field goal away from victory in the SEC championship game. But somehow, it's Quinn's fault.
ASU will get it done.
