I love visiting this location. The Victorian Palace and Carousel museum is a working and operating museum of history. It covers a lot of interests which can't be entirely shown in this video or put into words. Jasper has amassed a collection of a lot of things including steam engines, locomotives, band organs, pipe organ, and that beautiful and massive carousel in which the horses actually move up and down. It was awesome and I can't wait until I return.
REALMENTE FANTASTICO!!!! felicitaciones por semejante preservación de instrumentos y maquinarias de una época ya exinguida! Cordiales saludos desde la Patagonia Argentina
This is a special Encore banjo made by the D.C. Ramey piano company in recent years. They make replicas of the regular single-banjo Encore, as well as an adaptation of the Connorized Banjorchestra that they call the "Ramey Banjo-Orchestra" (one of these is visible at about 4:03 in the video). The double-banjo model was a limited-production item; I believe both banjos play the same notes at the same time from the regular Encore roll, but I'm not sure. Google "D C Ramey"
Tant de gramophones, de piano automatiqueset d'aussi beau objets en 1 seul endroit! C'est trop beau, il ne faut pas que j'y aille, je serai arrêté pour vol...
What a vast collection, would love to go there. Seems one could get lost for days trying to listen to every machine there. Hope they've got a few Cremonas playing Capitol blues :)
Thanks for the correction. As Humphrey Bogart says in Casablanca, 'I was misinformed.' It's still an amazing organ, with some 8,000 pipes, not to mention percussion and bells. The video equalizes the volume and seriously diminishes the powerful impact of the organ in reality. It's a truly visceral experience.

I wish I could go there!
You can. They sometimes open to the public a few times a year.
that last one sounded like a steam locomotive coming to a stop
superbe , énorme , n'existe pas en Europe
Largest pipe organ in existence is Atlantic City Auditorium, 33,000 +, under restoration.
Can you get a video of the Wurlitzer 180, please?
that's what I will be doing when I go there. I will be around the 165 and the 180 for a LONG ASS TIME.
6:01 Am I seeing Double? or is this a type of Encore Automatic Banjo with two banjos?
That was "created" by Dave Ramey several years ago.
