Your review of Be My Favorite is definitely on point. I don’t understand why it is not getting at least 1 million views each episode. The actors are absolutely talented. The story telling is superb. The characters’ dialogues and themes presented are both socially and morally relevant to our society today. More people needs to watch this series. ❤❤❤

MSP blew me away and easily took over my #1 spot but the one that is shocking me now is Be My Favorite. I went into it expecting to not like it, but from episode 1, it has become the highlight of my week. I can't believe how much I adore this show and I'm not ready for it to end!
MOONLIGHT CHICKEN IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!! like I loved it so much with how real and genuine it felt. The pacing of the relationships, the character struggles, how the characters communicated and the colour schemes were just above and beyond. Such an amazing series I think everyone needs to watch!

I absolutely agree with you about MSP and Be My Favorite. Be My Favorite, I believe is really surprising to a lot of people who had little to no expectations, especially for the main cp pairing. I am sold about Warp Effect, I'm going to give it a go.
(Spoiler Alert) Definetely gonna agree with Be My Favorite. Its pretty underrated for what it has to offer. You could make a whole discourse out of it. It has everything. From Pisaeng realizing that he's gay without anyone by his side and to have him reach out to Max for help. From Kawi being the self-sabotaging socially awkward person to him trying to fix things (and ruining them even more) i just love the show because you FEEL the characters And for me, the way they chose alcohol as a problem was kind of fit to the plot because in the first episodes we see Kawi saying how hes 30 and have never drank or partied it would only make sense that when he discovers the joy in them, he dives a bit too deep to control it. And what i liked most about it is that every character in the series in somehow flawed (yet it isnt mentioned outright because thats something the audience have to feel) yes Kawi takes the lead and is shown as the one is flawed but from the first episode we see that Kawi and Pisaeng arent really much different. Both of them are isolated. With kawi its social, with Pisaeng its mental isolation. So just from the first episode they develop this chemistry that is so beautiful. It gives them something that similar yet keeping the fact in check that they are both so different. Another thing i loved abt it was the fact that they keep emphasizing that Pisaeng has always been in love with Kawi. It wasnt just sth that dropped out of nowhere. But in the og timeline, Kawi ignored all of his advances making Pisaeng's development forclosed to the point where he ends up marrying pear. Due to the timetravel, we see Kawi developing friendship with Pisaeng that leads the other know that what hes been feeling since he was fifteen were not just thoughts and whims that also leads him to save himself and Pear from an unhappy marriage. I also love the fact that even when Kawi can timetravel he cant change the course of death. So kawi's father dies the same time in every timeline. Its just so refreshing to see this concept Bmf definetely deserves more recognition. Its one of my top BLs now.
My school president made me feel something! That show was everything I love in one series. A healthy and adorable relationships ! 🥰 Also the songs were on repeat they were so addictive! 🤭
Another thing about My School President impeccable writing and attention to details that I didn't see people mentioning, it is about the song LISTEN (ฟัง) ( sang by Fourth, Ford, Satang, Winny Ft. Pijika) in ep5, during this song we see 2 kind of Love, the one between a mom and her son and the one between friends but not the one between lovers (aka TinnGun) even though the lyrics fit perfectly. On the first watch I was initially surprised but glad that the writer created that twist to omit the main couple to focus on the other kind of love (family and friends) which also gave that dimension that MSP is more than just about a teenage romance. BUT what was my surprise (or actually not really surprised surprise) when the song came back in ep10 just when Gun realises that the love between Him and Tinn is not just a crush, a fling or a teenager thing but True Love... and here was that missing piece coming to complete the ep5 sequence. Just a masterclass of script writing.
They really did put their whole best foot in the first quarter, but MSP really is and will be a BL that deserve to be a classic. MSP going the musical direction was a genius idea and very amazingly executed
Last twilight is 100% my most anticipated show. I hope to god that the ending isn’t “oh and he was magically cured” coz honestly I will be so annoyed haha
same here, in P'Aof we trust. considering moonlight chicken exists i highly doubt that will happen (and i pray to GOD it dosent). now that the first ep is out i have even higher hopes that it wont happen, considering that whole interview sequence is bascially about condemning ableism
Oh my god, how you explained Be My Favorite was totally what I felt when I first watched it. I had no high expectation for it because I only watched it for Krist, even when I was excited for the first episode, I was still passive about it because it has been many years since Kit has been in a BL and I have no regret for it once!!! And frrr, We need more Max, the fact he didn't even got more screen time sends me. And I love how when you sets your expectation to the lowest for the next episode, they just throw you off and in the end you'd asked yourself what the fuck just happened??? I love it so much and I love this video!
I wasn't even planning on watching MSP since I thought it was just gonna be another high school bl. Then I saw how much people were loving it on Twitter and I decided to watch it. That was one of the best decisions I've made this year. MSP wasn't just another high school bl. All the characters were so adorable, the music was beautiful and the characters sang them at the right moments so it didn't feel like an awkward musical. I really wasn't expecting to love this series as much as I do. HeartLiming were also my fav couple in MLC. They just warmed my heart. I felt like the ending for NLMG was rushed too. One of the things I wish they would've gone through is Palm's dad finding out about them. I'm glad Force and Book did A Boss and a Babe. I definitely liked it a lot better than Enchante. And I'm glad Book got to play another character because I hated the one he played in Enchante. Thanks for your review on Be My Favorite. I'm definitely planning on watching it to support Gawin, but I'm gonna wait until the series is over so I don't have to wait every week 😂
I could do anything to go back to December Friday's to watch MSP. That bl is a masterpiece, executed so perfectly, the sad part is that these kind of bl only comes once.. We will miss you MSP.

I began watching MSP just because I was bored. Never planned on watching it since GeminiFourth are new couple and the story is about high school love story. But oh boy... I got hooked just from the very 1st ep. And I remained hooked when I first saw Tin's longing for Gunn. Gemini executed the crushing expression so well that I couldn't ignore it anymore. One of the best productions from GMMTV. Congrats!
I was so upset with that abuse subplot. One, because it came out of nowhere. And two, because it got solved magically. Suddenly, everything was fine between Thoop and his mother, and I don't even remember/know what happened to the abuser. It was like they needed some reason to justify Tien's death and simply threw that at us!
completely agree... like if Tien's mother KNEW her husband was raping her child and helped cover it up she deserved jail just as much as him. It was such a heavy, disturbing topic to be written about so carelessly in my opinion
Just how the details are consistent throughout the MSP episodes, it shook me how in BMF, de facto a show centered about changing the future through altering the present, pays attention to small details and show how they escalate in the characters lives. After seeing Kawi obviously struggle with an alcohol addiction in his future, I can no longer look at him drinking in the present and the drunked kisses and confessions are rather alarming than cute

My friend and I are currently watching Be my Favorite and we are sooo in love! The writing and storytelling is amazing. I was so worried about Gawin and Krist because couldn't for the life of me see the pairing work (IDK why I literally just couldn't picture it). We went in with small hope (because we got Vice Versa vibes from the trailer and we fell hard so for that series) but not much expectation and we are blown away by how freaking great BMF is. Also, we completely agree about needing more Max T_T
I have a very short attention span so it's difficult for me to watch ongoing dramas the entire way through. The only recent drama that has managed to catch and hold my attention all the way through (so far) is Be My Favorite. I'm so incredibly obsessed with this one too and completely agree with your review. I was hesitant going into it, but fell in love from the very first ep. I LOVE really flawed characters like Kawi because there's so much room for them to grow (and it's so satisfying to see him learn and grow with each new ep). Krist and Gawin's chemistry is out of this world (so much better than I was expecting), and there's just so much nuance and detail with the writing and characterisation in this show. I'm hoping that the next eps keep the standard, but so far this one really is my fave of all the more recent GMMTV BLs (and BLs that have aired recently in general).
Finally someone wholesomely reviewed moonlight chicken, oh I loved this series, I'm a devoted fan of EarthMix & unlike you others mostly point out the drawbacks of the series, making it ugly but but for me it's one of the thought provoking matured bls I've ever seen... Moonlight Chicken One of my favorites. First of all the cinematography was amazing. The way the mood was set, great! The relationship between the main characters was beautifully done, it felt intense and real. But like you said, at some point it became a bit stagnant, that's why I started loving the second couple even more. And as you said, unfortunately the other 2 couples didn't get enough time to be shown in dept. The main couple felt like real people and the second couple's plot was so interesting and well done. Definitely a top series! My school president At first I had no interest in this series, as I am one of those people who prefer series not set in high school. Because: 1. I've already seen so many set in high school, 2. I'm 30 now, it's more difficult to relate to them, I like to see more stories of people in my stage of life. BUT I loved the actors in Moonlight Chicken, so that's how I ended up watching it anyways. I won't say it's my favorite series ever, but I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than I expected; Really great series, the only thing I didn't enjoy was all the songs. I generally can't enjoy a song the first time I hear it, I need to hear it a few times before I start liking it. So unknown songs in series are not my thing. I really loved the 'Just being friends' song and music video being used in the series though. I knew and liked the song and MV before I saw the series, so I found it really fun recognizing all the bits they were imitating. Never let me go I enjoyed the series, but there were many things wrong with it. I pretty much agreed with everything you said in the video. A boss and a babe I just finished this one, I had not expected enjoying it as much as I did. The main couple is so cute. I love how the characters are more mature in their reasoning and how they talk things through quite quickly instead of letting misunderstandings lead into 4 episodes of drama and emotional torture. I can't emphasize how much I love that. Because of that it felt very light and fluffy. I do agree on the fact that they threw in some big issues and never worked it out properly, I was bothered by that too, we never even knew what happened with the stepdad. Though I wouldn't want them to spend tons of time on too serious issues, this would take away from the fluffyness of the series. But I do think, they should have not included them or taken 1 issue and worked it out more properly over the span of the series, so it's not too focussed on it, but it does get enough time to be fleshed out. I really, really missed more elaboration on Boss's past, growing up and dealing with being gay. The second couple was basically just there to add extra cuteness and fluff to the series, without them having much of a plotline. But here I'm not seeing this as a bad thing, cause I enjoyed every second of it. Also I love how they were already an established couple not 2 people who fell in love during the series, like is generally done for most main and secondary couples in BL series.
literally msp was just ugh, everything. it healed my soul. every time i watched it i was transported in to their wholesome universe. i was attached to everyone right away. exactly what i needed and love. love is not dead T_T. they managed to become my favourite bl ever after only a few episodes, beating out the title uwma held on my list for a few years i agree with that one reactor that said msp felt like a passion project. so much love was poured into that series. msp singlehandedly brought me back to the bl world and geminifourth and firstkhaotung brought me back into the fandom culture. msp paired with not me made me suddenly trust gmmtv to give me some more good shows so ive been on a gmmtv binge.
Wow it’s been a while good to see u post. I’ve got a lot of thoughts on these shows. MSP was a mid show for me I liked it and felt the vibes until after the mid point. Tbh I saw so many of the references to Bad buddy on twitter that my hopes went up but I didn’t wanna spoil myself so I scrolled by. Everything was charming and freshish until it felt repetitive and boring. Idk if it’s just a better show to binge but waiting each week with little development and everything being about hot wave was tiring. I really didn’t expect the hot wave plot to go until the end and all the TinGun relationship talk being about wait until hot wave is done or after hot wave we can do this, tell ppl this blah blah and then not to give us much time for post hot wave story was frustrating. Also the confession was so low key I wasn’t sure if it was a imagination or if Gun was gonna misunderstand I honestly thought they were gonna confess again after hot wave but then they were acting like they were together already. We saw Tin do a lot for Gun I was looking forward to Gun finally reciprocating but the whole focus was on hot wave and then his mom. I saw a lot of ppl say how they dealt with the confession & other scenes was refreshing cause it was low key but to me it wasn’t satisfying. I think ppl r really over hyping the show. I really enjoyed the music in this show, I liked the chemistry everyone was charming, soundwin won me over I wasn’t into them at first, TinGun were so cute they developed nicely but stagnated at everything being about hot wave. NLMG was a nice show for me I didn’t have high expectations cause Futs was very mid for me and their chemistry/acting was ok there. I watched this show last out of the 2022 shows vice versa, star& sky series, eclipse, clw but Nlg won be over along with eclipse. The relationship development was huge and a lot more romantic then I expected. I didn’t expect them to spend so many episodes at the beach but I enjoyed it they got to let go. The beach felt more a part of the plot by spending so much time there and them developing/growing there. I liked the mother/Palm relationship it felt genuine and they actually had some deep talks way better then his dad. Loved when Nueng finally came into boss mode and I enjoyed Perth more then Chimon but their story was underdeveloped. I don’t think this show brought fans in to looking forward to PerthChimon so what was the point. MLC was good and refreshing but solemn. I saw so much hype for this show and so many memes about defending a cheater and even the teaser of the ear bitting I seriously thought this show was gonna be messy and more seductive like only friends seem to be. JimWen was way to repetitive the same I wanna build a home with u lean into a kiss and deny and then talk about trauma happened waaaay to many times. So sad considering this might be their last show ever and the focus was barely on them. I really enjoyed HeartLiming I like the family aspect. I just really thought we would get a passionate we can’t be together but we can’t help it story. All the characters are great idk why they decided to keep it short with how much hype and love it got. Boss and babe was an easy fun watch I wasn’t dying for the next ep to come out but it was an easy fun watch. Be my favourite is doing well for me Kawi was getting annoying to me but I really enjoy the progress of this show and pair. The story interested me from the pilot so I knew there was something special about this show no matter what. Cherry Magic is something I’m looking forward to but I don’t see that silly goofy version of Achii from New even tho I have seen clips of him playing silly from warp. I hope things change for the proper trailer cause right now New looks a bit stiff and cold and I think Tay would be a way better fit. I don’t mind a more serious version but not like this.
Alan and Gaipa was definitely not forced, you can look from the very beginning. What they both seek in a relationship is what the other one gives. They were a good fit from the very start but needed to work through their own struggles. Alan got to feel that spark and love and Gaipa got to have someone that actually gave as much as he got. It made sense that after they had both recovered from their traumatic experiences that they started to notice each other.
MSP will be my no.1 BL series (or not just a BL series but overall) and i almost 100% sure it won't change. that's how impactful and invested i am to it. i've watch it for more than 10× already and i've never had boring moments ever. 💜💙💜💙
I overall loved the bls that been put put by gmmtv TV so far this year. The characters are great and the chemistry of the actors is so enjoyable to watch. I loved my school president and be my favorite and I am obsessed with the warp affect
I agree with every review, MSP was amazing! Friday fluff was such a happy time for me! MLC had my heart with all pairings (shoutout to Khao's funeral scenes i was literally sobbing) I liked NLMG but seriously, where were the bodyguards???? There were just so many situations that were unrealistic if you were rich and your life is in danger. ABAAB was good but fully agree with them adding serious plots that were just not fleshed out, especially the abuse plot, it really shocked me how it was just resolved. Be My Favourite is so freaking good!! It is my favourite show at the minute and i wasnt even going to watch it! I actually watched the first episode through a review channel and then got hooked. The acting is so good and I am loving the storyline. The bar episode with Paesang going through the various stages of accepting himself was just *chefs kiss*
I’m hooked! Well-known and experienced cast (they are a huge drawing card for me); chaotic, colourful intro; first episode sets out some interesting story lines; mystery, tension. I’m looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. 🙏❤️🇨🇦
My school President was the highlight of my day every Friday. I don’t care if I was in school. By 9am the new episodes were out so I would watch them and be in a good mood the entire day.

i went into my school president not knowing ANYTHING about it. i didnt know the characters names, the actors, the plot, anything. my friend was obsessed with it, i watched it so i could talk to him about it, and i came out absolutely awestruck, and it became the highlight of my week

For now My School President for me. Tight hard with Chicken Moonlight (plot kinda rushing, have plot hole) and the last Be My Favorite, this series suprasingly good.
I was in that chorus of 'NOT ANOTHER STINKING SCHOOL SET BL' So I completely ignored My School President until well into the series had started and then watched it. One of my best tv decisions. The main couple was sweet and Ernest. There was nothing creepy about Tinn's love or behaviour (My Secret Crush). Tiwson was an amazing wingman, poor boy having to listen to his friend whine about his one true love for 2 years. His thing with Por was not developed enough but I will take it. They did develop it interestingly in the MSP episodes of Our Skky S2 (which gave Tinn/Gun lines to other people and they delivered them well). The Sound/ relationship was done nicely I like the 2 characters they were equal in height and personality but they were also really tender with each other, again it was nice to see their dynamic flipped in Out Skky. Never Let Me Go - Such potential. But I don't waste my time on potential anymore. The plotholes were too ridiculous to get over. I just watched fmv of the Perth/Chimon(?) relationship. But I was glad that the actors who do the main couple got to be in a more mature BL. Perhaps their next series will develop this further but be better written. Moonlight Chicken - Not the guy who played uncle seemed to be a never-nude so I found that odd. And I couldn't believe that he had broken up with his long term partner but was not only sharing a condo BUT THEY STILL SLEPT IN THE SAME BED. SIR GET A FLOOR MATTRESS or go and get another condo, you are Thai, you have friends and connections, you speak the language you can haggle a good price for a 1 year contract on a condo in an afternoon. If I as a foreigner can find reasonable priced condos ,sir you most definitely can. their relationship was unnecessary torture. Loved Gemini/Fourth. Liked that it heighlited a different side of Thai society, there were some issues there but they get points for at least trying. They touched on an intersection we don't usual see queer and disabled. I expect better next time. Glad it was set in Pattaya, nice to see different parts of Thailand. And the resolution for Jim's business was something that I came up with, so I was glad they went the ordinary route and not a mysterious aunt with money or selling family heirlooms was the solution.

This script is so detailed and every character in this drama is so lively. I enjoy Gemini and Fourth being so cheesy and childish. I love soundwin being always competitive. I wish there are more episodes talking more about markford. The OST of My School President are just amazing. Can you imagine there is 14 OST(including covered songs) in bl drama? GeminiFourth & SoundWin’s chemi is so gooooooooood. Can’t wait for their next series. Gemini and Fourth are also students of the best university in Thailand. Crazy! They are the only couple(?) that attracts me to pay for an offline event. For their performance and being childish xd LiMing Heart is so damn good in moonlight chicken. But I still loves JimWen the most. Their character is so realistic. Just looks like what happened in real life. I also agree that it takes so long for them to confirm their relationship. But sometimes, life likes this. Everything so complicated. Just rewatch A boss and a babe today!!! Love Boss Gun and Cher so much. They makes me believe in real love between different social status again. But as what you said, the part of Tian and the conflict between Gun’s family is so fragmented. And I don’t understand why there is always female suffer from trauma. Stop it please. It’s unnecessary. Haven’t start watching the new series. But I am also happy that Gawin finally gets a main role! I am looking forward to JimmySea’s Last Twilight and TayNew’s Cherry Magic. I am also looking forward to Offgun’s Cooking Crush, but the trailer looks not that attractive. Let see. For the non- BL drama. I am watching The Jungle and it seems good.
Oh, Be My Favorite is my favorite lakorn of 2023 (just like Vice Versa, by the way). I demand more attention from bmf and viewers to this lakorn. It's just the most philosophical and enjoyable thing I've seen. I discovered Gavin as an actor thanks to this series, and I really like his facial expressions and talent. After Not me I'm sure that any pairing with him becomes deeper and more spiritualized (for some reason, any pairing with Gavin acquires for me some kind of mega spiritual vibe and connection of souls). I was skeptical about this series, as Crist had been my favorite actor for a long time, but after his homophobic remarks and dubious return to bl, I expected the same plastic acting as in Sotus. But the BMF turned out to be better than I expected.

your review of palm was my EXACT THOUGHTS i really really liked the acting execution but it was disappointing to see him not being explored a little more like we only really got to see things from his point of view when he ran away. i really wanted to see more of his side of the story to just kind of just tie the story. and YES the whole island eps were so detached from the main plot it kind of gave me a whiplash when i first watched it but whatever, just like you, i loved the scenes in those eps
MSP was definitely one of the shows that I didn’t expect myself to watch and then, as soon as I started watching it, I fell in love with it. Never let me go though was my second favorite because it was just such a good storyline and the running away era just was so different and good

Your review of MSP is SO TRUE!! I finished it like three weeks ago and the way I wanted to die the moment every episode ended... I love msp more than anything (the only thing that made md angry was how they handled the outing like you said because as a person who has been outed before it makes me lowkey uncomfortable whenever its mentioned lmao but I love Tinn's way of handling) despite not being a rewatcher, I lowkey wanna rewatch it now 😭 it hasn't even been a MONTH since I finished it
MSP always made me smile thank god I didn’t skip it like I intended. I saw some TH-camrs reacting to it so I started watching. Never let me go lost me at the end I struggled to care and finished it by the skin of my teeth. MLC was very real which was why I loved it so much I had shed tears. Be my favorite surprised me and sucked me into the drama, nonsense and foolishness but I love all the characters even Not. Shout out to a non Bl Homeschool who have the girls and guys of all ages ACTING!! I highly recommend. GMMTV is keeping me invested an on TH-cam all week
As a person who was OBSESSED with Never Let Me Go, I get you! The reason I adored the show was because of the fucking angst in the first 5 episodes and Nueng being a little too relatable (I have never related to a character in a BL as much as I related to him EVER. He is me). The vibe of the show is all so intense and serious but then again as you said once, GMMTV does NOT know how to do serious that well 💀 I think another reason i liked it was because I had school and it was the only thing I allowed myself to watch during school and I loved looking forward to it. I think episode 7 is when it started going downhill for me (episode 6 was a bit empty too) because episode 7 was MY FAVORITE EPISODE EVER. NOTHING at the time made me feel the way that episode made me feel, then the rest of the show felt disappointing, but it didn't bother me because instead of being actually a slip or suddenly getting bad it just progressively started to have weird plotholes, random things left unaddressed , and characters that were left in the middle (like maggie, or even Palm's father). There was ALWAYS something missing, and I can't tell if its because of the acting (wherein sometimes I felt like Pond did a better job that Phuwin?? and it feels a little uncoordinated) or the writing which is probably the reason, and I absoluteky hate it when the main conflict starts unfolding at the VERY END of the 11th episode just to end 5 minutes in episode 12 because HELLO??? I still am very much biased about Never Let Me Go, I love PalmNueng very much but god do I wish they worked with it just a little bit more. Just a little more depth would've been cool, especially for the anticipation of ANY PLOT TWIST regarding Kit being the villain, or who had killed Nueng's father (the literal premise of the show???) because it felt like a plot device to get him to meet Palm. The fan theories and analysis were wayy too good, and it feels like the show just ended up sticking to what it knew it was going to like. This show is still very dear to me
I love MSP and Moonlight Chicken so much and I genuinely don't know which I love more because I love them for such different reasons. Both skyrocketed into my top ten bls ever easily. Underwhelming is a good description for NLMG. There are some scenes that are just absolute masterpieces, but somehow the overall just fell short. I feel like the show needed more time to flesh out storylines and characters and would have functioned better with longer episodes, or like 2 extra episodes. Boss and a babe was cute, and I enjoyed it. I definitely agree that it needed to not just brush over the Tian plotline though. P'New shows are pretty hit or miss for me. UWMA and My only 12% are incredible, but LBC and SIMM are just trash. I'm also enjoying Be my favorite. I also started watching it for Gawin lmao. Kawi does irritate me sometimes though. I feel like he just treats others thoughtlessly. Pisang I'm really liking though. They are doing an amazing job with his character and showing what its like to come to terms with your sexuality. Lastly the warp effect. Such a good show! I need more shows like this with all different kinds of queer people instead of just gay men or just lesbians.

Your review of Be My Favorite is definitely on point. I don’t understand why it is not getting at least 1 million views each episode. The actors are absolutely talented. The story telling is superb. The characters’ dialogues and themes presented are both socially and morally relevant to our society today. More people needs to watch this series. ❤❤❤

MSP blew me away and easily took over my #1 spot but the one that is shocking me now is Be My Favorite. I went into it expecting to not like it, but from episode 1, it has become the highlight of my week. I can't believe how much I adore this show and I'm not ready for it to end!

MOONLIGHT CHICKEN IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!! like I loved it so much with how real and genuine it felt. The pacing of the relationships, the character struggles, how the characters communicated and the colour schemes were just above and beyond. Such an amazing series I think everyone needs to watch!

I absolutely agree with you about MSP and Be My Favorite. Be My Favorite, I believe is really surprising to a lot of people who had little to no expectations, especially for the main cp pairing. I am sold about Warp Effect, I'm going to give it a go.

Definetely gonna agree with Be My Favorite. Its pretty underrated for what it has to offer.
You could make a whole discourse out of it. It has everything. From Pisaeng realizing that he's gay without anyone by his side and to have him reach out to Max for help. From Kawi being the self-sabotaging socially awkward person to him trying to fix things (and ruining them even more) i just love the show because you FEEL the characters
And for me, the way they chose alcohol as a problem was kind of fit to the plot because in the first episodes we see Kawi saying how hes 30 and have never drank or partied it would only make sense that when he discovers the joy in them, he dives a bit too deep to control it.
And what i liked most about it is that every character in the series in somehow flawed (yet it isnt mentioned outright because thats something the audience have to feel) yes Kawi takes the lead and is shown as the one is flawed but from the first episode we see that Kawi and Pisaeng arent really much different. Both of them are isolated. With kawi its social, with Pisaeng its mental isolation. So just from the first episode they develop this chemistry that is so beautiful. It gives them something that similar yet keeping the fact in check that they are both so different.
Another thing i loved abt it was the fact that they keep emphasizing that Pisaeng has always been in love with Kawi. It wasnt just sth that dropped out of nowhere. But in the og timeline, Kawi ignored all of his advances making Pisaeng's development forclosed to the point where he ends up marrying pear. Due to the timetravel, we see Kawi developing friendship with Pisaeng that leads the other know that what hes been feeling since he was fifteen were not just thoughts and whims that also leads him to save himself and Pear from an unhappy marriage.
I also love the fact that even when Kawi can timetravel he cant change the course of death. So kawi's father dies the same time in every timeline. Its just so refreshing to see this concept
Bmf definetely deserves more recognition. Its one of my top BLs now.

Another thing about My School President impeccable writing and attention to details that I didn't see people mentioning, it is about the song LISTEN (ฟัง) ( sang by Fourth, Ford, Satang, Winny Ft. Pijika) in ep5, during this song we see 2 kind of Love, the one between a mom and her son and the one between friends but not the one between lovers (aka TinnGun) even though the lyrics fit perfectly. On the first watch I was initially surprised but glad that the writer created that twist to omit the main couple to focus on the other kind of love (family and friends) which also gave that dimension that MSP is more than just about a teenage romance. BUT what was my surprise (or actually not really surprised surprise) when the song came back in ep10 just when Gun realises that the love between Him and Tinn is not just a crush, a fling or a teenager thing but True Love... and here was that missing piece coming to complete the ep5 sequence. Just a masterclass of script writing.
i will die for heartliming. i would love to see Gemini and Fourth in a more serious show. they have so much chemistry and are versatile.
They really did put their whole best foot in the first quarter, but MSP really is and will be a BL that deserve to be a classic. MSP going the musical direction was a genius idea and very amazingly executed

Oh my god, how you explained Be My Favorite was totally what I felt when I first watched it. I had no high expectation for it because I only watched it for Krist, even when I was excited for the first episode, I was still passive about it because it has been many years since Kit has been in a BL and I have no regret for it once!!! And frrr, We need more Max, the fact he didn't even got more screen time sends me.
And I love how when you sets your expectation to the lowest for the next episode, they just throw you off and in the end you'd asked yourself what the fuck just happened??? I love it so much and I love this video!
I wasn't even planning on watching MSP since I thought it was just gonna be another high school bl. Then I saw how much people were loving it on Twitter and I decided to watch it. That was one of the best decisions I've made this year. MSP wasn't just another high school bl. All the characters were so adorable, the music was beautiful and the characters sang them at the right moments so it didn't feel like an awkward musical. I really wasn't expecting to love this series as much as I do.
HeartLiming were also my fav couple in MLC. They just warmed my heart.
I felt like the ending for NLMG was rushed too. One of the things I wish they would've gone through is Palm's dad finding out about them.
I'm glad Force and Book did A Boss and a Babe. I definitely liked it a lot better than Enchante. And I'm glad Book got to play another character because I hated the one he played in Enchante.

I began watching MSP just because I was bored. Never planned on watching it since GeminiFourth are new couple and the story is about high school love story. But oh boy... I got hooked just from the very 1st ep. And I remained hooked when I first saw Tin's longing for Gunn. Gemini executed the crushing expression so well that I couldn't ignore it anymore. One of the best productions from GMMTV. Congrats!
I was so upset with that abuse subplot. One, because it came out of nowhere. And two, because it got solved magically. Suddenly, everything was fine between Thoop and his mother, and I don't even remember/know what happened to the abuser. It was like they needed some reason to justify Tien's death and simply threw that at us!
completely agree... like if Tien's mother KNEW her husband was raping her child and helped cover it up she deserved jail just as much as him. It was such a heavy, disturbing topic to be written about so carelessly in my opinion
Just how the details are consistent throughout the MSP episodes, it shook me how in BMF, de facto a show centered about changing the future through altering the present, pays attention to small details and show how they escalate in the characters lives. After seeing Kawi obviously struggle with an alcohol addiction in his future, I can no longer look at him drinking in the present and the drunked kisses and confessions are rather alarming than cute

My friend and I are currently watching Be my Favorite and we are sooo in love! The writing and storytelling is amazing. I was so worried about Gawin and Krist because couldn't for the life of me see the pairing work (IDK why I literally just couldn't picture it). We went in with small hope (because we got Vice Versa vibes from the trailer and we fell hard so for that series) but not much expectation and we are blown away by how freaking great BMF is. Also, we completely agree about needing more Max T_T

I have a very short attention span so it's difficult for me to watch ongoing dramas the entire way through. The only recent drama that has managed to catch and hold my attention all the way through (so far) is Be My Favorite. I'm so incredibly obsessed with this one too and completely agree with your review. I was hesitant going into it, but fell in love from the very first ep. I LOVE really flawed characters like Kawi because there's so much room for them to grow (and it's so satisfying to see him learn and grow with each new ep). Krist and Gawin's chemistry is out of this world (so much better than I was expecting), and there's just so much nuance and detail with the writing and characterisation in this show. I'm hoping that the next eps keep the standard, but so far this one really is my fave of all the more recent GMMTV BLs (and BLs that have aired recently in general).
Finally someone wholesomely reviewed moonlight chicken, oh I loved this series, I'm a devoted fan of EarthMix & unlike you others mostly point out the drawbacks of the series, making it ugly but but for me it's one of the thought provoking matured bls I've ever seen... Never mind I've a soft spot for Uncle Jim aka Earth Pirapat in my heart...& I totally loved your review ❣️
Moonlight Chicken
One of my favorites. First of all the cinematography was amazing. The way the mood was set, great! The relationship between the main characters was beautifully done, it felt intense and real. But like you said, at some point it became a bit stagnant, that's why I started loving the second couple even more. And as you said, unfortunately the other 2 couples didn't get enough time to be shown in dept. The main couple felt like real people and the second couple's plot was so interesting and well done.

My school president
At first I had no interest in this series, as I am one of those people who prefer series not set in high school. Because: 1. I've already seen so many set in high school, 2. I'm 30 now, it's more difficult to relate to them, I like to see more stories of people in my stage of life. BUT I loved the actors in Moonlight Chicken, so that's how I ended up watching it anyways. I won't say it's my favorite series ever, but I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than I expected; Really great series, the only thing I didn't enjoy was all the songs. I generally can't enjoy a song the first time I hear it, I need to hear it a few times before I start liking it. So unknown songs in series are not my thing. I really loved the 'Just being friends' song and music video being used in the series though. I knew and liked the song and MV before I saw the series, so I found it really fun recognizing all the bits they were imitating.

I enjoyed the series, but there were many things wrong with it. I pretty much agreed with everything you said in the video.
A boss and a babe
I just finished this one, I had not expected enjoying it as much as I did. The main couple is so cute. I love how the characters are more mature in their reasoning and how they talk things through quite quickly instead of letting misunderstandings lead into 4 episodes of drama and emotional torture. I can't emphasize how much I love that. Because of that it felt very light and fluffy. I do agree on the fact that they threw in some big issues and never worked it out properly, I was bothered by that too, we never even knew what happened with the stepdad. Though I wouldn't want them to spend tons of time on too serious issues, this would take away from the fluffyness of the series. But I do think, they should have not included them or taken 1 issue and worked it out more properly over the span of the series, so it's not too focussed on it, but it does get enough time to be fleshed out. I really, really missed more elaboration on Boss's past, growing up and dealing with being gay. The second couple was basically just there to add extra cuteness and fluff to the series, without them having much of a plotline. But here I'm not seeing this as a bad thing, cause I enjoyed every second of it. Also I love how they were already an established couple not 2 people who fell in love during the series, like is generally done for most main and secondary couples in BL series.
literally msp was just ugh, everything. it healed my soul. every time i watched it i was transported in to their wholesome universe. i was attached to everyone right away. exactly what i needed and love. love is not dead T_T. they managed to become my favourite bl ever after only a few episodes, beating out the title uwma held on my list for a few years
i agree with that one reactor that said msp felt like a passion project. so much love was poured into that series.
msp singlehandedly brought me back to the bl world and geminifourth and firstkhaotung brought me back into the fandom culture. msp paired with not me made me suddenly trust gmmtv to give me some more good shows so ive been on a gmmtv binge.

MSP was a mid show for me I liked it and felt the vibes until after the mid point. Tbh I saw so many of the references to Bad buddy on twitter that my hopes went up but I didn’t wanna spoil myself so I scrolled by. Everything was charming and freshish until it felt repetitive and boring. Idk if it’s just a better show to binge but waiting each week with little development and everything being about hot wave was tiring. I really didn’t expect the hot wave plot to go until the end and all the TinGun relationship talk being about wait until hot wave is done or after hot wave we can do this, tell ppl this blah blah and then not to give us much time for post hot wave story was frustrating. Also the confession was so low key I wasn’t sure if it was a imagination or if Gun was gonna misunderstand I honestly thought they were gonna confess again after hot wave but then they were acting like they were together already. We saw Tin do a lot for Gun I was looking forward to Gun finally reciprocating but the whole focus was on hot wave and then his mom. I saw a lot of ppl say how they dealt with the confession & other scenes was refreshing cause it was low key but to me it wasn’t satisfying. I think ppl r really over hyping the show. I really enjoyed the music in this show, I liked the chemistry everyone was charming, soundwin won me over I wasn’t into them at first, TinGun were so cute they developed nicely but stagnated at everything being about hot wave.
NLMG was a nice show for me I didn’t have high expectations cause Futs was very mid for me and their chemistry/acting was ok there. I watched this show last out of the 2022 shows vice versa, star& sky series, eclipse, clw but Nlg won be over along with eclipse. The relationship development was huge and a lot more romantic then I expected. I didn’t expect them to spend so many episodes at the beach but I enjoyed it they got to let go. The beach felt more a part of the plot by spending so much time there and them developing/growing there. I liked the mother/Palm relationship it felt genuine and they actually had some deep talks way better then his dad. Loved when Nueng finally came into boss mode and I enjoyed Perth more then Chimon but their story was underdeveloped. I don’t think this show brought fans in to looking forward to PerthChimon so what was the point.
MLC was good and refreshing but solemn. I saw so much hype for this show and so many memes about defending a cheater and even the teaser of the ear bitting I seriously thought this show was gonna be messy and more seductive like only friends seem to be. JimWen was way to repetitive the same I wanna build a home with u lean into a kiss and deny and then talk about trauma happened waaaay to many times. So sad considering this might be their last show ever and the focus was barely on them. I really enjoyed HeartLiming I like the family aspect. I just really thought we would get a passionate we can’t be together but we can’t help it story. All the characters are great idk why they decided to keep it short with how much hype and love it got.
Boss and babe was an easy fun watch I wasn’t dying for the next ep to come out but it was an easy fun watch.
Be my favourite is doing well for me Kawi was getting annoying to me but I really enjoy the progress of this show and pair. The story interested me from the pilot so I knew there was something special about this show no matter what.
Cherry Magic is something I’m looking forward to but I don’t see that silly goofy version of Achii from New even tho I have seen clips of him playing silly from warp. I hope things change for the proper trailer cause right now New looks a bit stiff and cold and I think Tay would be a way better fit. I don’t mind a more serious version but not like this.
I heard so many good things about BMF and I wanna watch it just for Gawin too lol. I wanna watch it after it ends because I am a binge watcher.

Alan and Gaipa was definitely not forced, you can look from the very beginning. What they both seek in a relationship is what the other one gives. They were a good fit from the very start but needed to work through their own struggles. Alan got to feel that spark and love and Gaipa got to have someone that actually gave as much as he got. It made sense that after they had both recovered from their traumatic experiences that they started to notice each other.
MSP will be my no.1 BL series (or not just a BL series but overall) and i almost 100% sure it won't change. that's how impactful and invested i am to it. i've watch it for more than 10× already and i've never had boring moments ever. 💜💙💜💙
I overall loved the bls that been put put by gmmtv TV so far this year. The characters are great and the chemistry of the actors is so enjoyable to watch. I loved my school president and be my favorite and I am obsessed with the warp affect
I agree with every review, MSP was amazing! Friday fluff was such a happy time for me! MLC had my heart with all pairings (shoutout to Khao's funeral scenes i was literally sobbing) I liked NLMG but seriously, where were the bodyguards???? There were just so many situations that were unrealistic if you were rich and your life is in danger. ABAAB was good but fully agree with them adding serious plots that were just not fleshed out, especially the abuse plot, it really shocked me how it was just resolved. Be My Favourite is so freaking good!! It is my favourite show at the minute and i wasnt even going to watch it! I actually watched the first episode through a review channel and then got hooked. The acting is so good and I am loving the storyline. The bar episode with Paesang going through the various stages of accepting himself was just *chefs kiss*
I’m hooked! Well-known and experienced cast (they are a huge drawing card for me); chaotic, colourful intro; first episode sets out some interesting story lines; mystery, tension. I’m looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. 🙏❤️🇨🇦

I watched ABAAB and I loved it !! It made me start watching BL series then I watched NLMG and fell in love and been obsessed since, I’ve also watched MSP and even though I enjoyed it wasn’t my favorites nor I like it as much as the others, Moonlight chicken is definitely in mi too watch list.
i went into my school president not knowing ANYTHING about it. i didnt know the characters names, the actors, the plot, anything. my friend was obsessed with it, i watched it so i could talk to him about it, and i came out absolutely awestruck, and it became the highlight of my week

For now My School President for me. Tight hard with Chicken Moonlight (plot kinda rushing, have plot hole) and the last Be My Favorite, this series suprasingly good.
I was in that chorus of 'NOT ANOTHER STINKING SCHOOL SET BL' So I completely ignored My School President until well into the series had started and then watched it. One of my best tv decisions. The main couple was sweet and Ernest. There was nothing creepy about Tinn's love or behaviour (My Secret Crush). Tiwson was an amazing wingman, poor boy having to listen to his friend whine about his one true love for 2 years. His thing with Por was not developed enough but I will take it. They did develop it interestingly in the MSP episodes of Our Skky S2 (which gave Tinn/Gun lines to other people and they delivered them well). The Sound/ relationship was done nicely I like the 2 characters they were equal in height and personality but they were also really tender with each other, again it was nice to see their dynamic flipped in Out Skky.
Never Let Me Go - Such potential. But I don't waste my time on potential anymore. The plotholes were too ridiculous to get over. I just watched fmv of the Perth/Chimon(?) relationship. But I was glad that the actors who do the main couple got to be in a more mature BL. Perhaps their next series will develop this further but be better written.
Moonlight Chicken - Not the guy who played uncle seemed to be a never-nude so I found that odd. And I couldn't believe that he had broken up with his long term partner but was not only sharing a condo BUT THEY STILL SLEPT IN THE SAME BED. SIR GET A FLOOR MATTRESS or go and get another condo, you are Thai, you have friends and connections, you speak the language you can haggle a good price for a 1 year contract on a condo in an afternoon. If I as a foreigner can find reasonable priced condos ,sir you most definitely can. their relationship was unnecessary torture. Loved Gemini/Fourth. Liked that it heighlited a different side of Thai society, there were some issues there but they get points for at least trying. They touched on an intersection we don't usual see queer and disabled. I expect better next time. Glad it was set in Pattaya, nice to see different parts of Thailand. And the resolution for Jim's business was something that I came up with, so I was glad they went the ordinary route and not a mysterious aunt with money or selling family heirlooms was the solution.

My School President is so far my favourite gmmtv’s bl drama. This script is so detailed and every character in this drama is so lively. I enjoy Gemini and Fourth being so cheesy and childish. I love soundwin being always competitive. I wish there are more episodes talking more about markford.

LiMing Heart is so damn good in moonlight chicken. But I still loves JimWen the most. Their character is so realistic. Just looks like what happened in real life. I also agree that it takes so long for them to confirm their relationship. But sometimes, life likes this. Everything so complicated.
Just rewatch A boss and a babe today!!! Love Boss Gun and Cher so much. They makes me believe in real love between different social status again. But as what you said, the part of Tian and the conflict between Gun’s family is so fragmented. And I don’t understand why there is always female suffer from trauma. Stop it please. It’s unnecessary.

Oh, Be My Favorite is my favorite lakorn of 2023 (just like Vice Versa, by the way). I demand more attention from bmf and viewers to this lakorn. It's just the most philosophical and enjoyable thing I've seen.
I discovered Gavin as an actor thanks to this series, and I really like his facial expressions and talent. After Not me I'm sure that any pairing with him becomes deeper and more spiritualized (for some reason, any pairing with Gavin acquires for me some kind of mega spiritual vibe and connection of souls).
I was skeptical about this series, as Crist had been my favorite actor for a long time, but after his homophobic remarks and dubious return to bl, I expected the same plastic acting as in Sotus. But the BMF turned out to be better than I expected.

your review of palm was my EXACT THOUGHTS i really really liked the acting execution but it was disappointing to see him not being explored a little more like we only really got to see things from his point of view when he ran away. i really wanted to see more of his side of the story to just kind of just tie the story. and YES the whole island eps were so detached from the main plot it kind of gave me a whiplash when i first watched it but whatever, just like you, i loved the scenes in those eps
MSP was definitely one of the shows that I didn’t expect myself to watch and then, as soon as I started watching it, I fell in love with it. Never let me go though was my second favorite because it was just such a good storyline and the running away era just was so different and good

MSP always made me smile thank god I didn’t skip it like I intended. I saw some TH-camrs reacting to it so I started watching. Never let me go lost me at the end I struggled to care and finished it by the skin of my teeth. MLC was very real which was why I loved it so much I had shed tears. Be my favorite surprised me and sucked me into the drama, nonsense and foolishness but I love all the characters even Not. Shout out to a non Bl Homeschool who have the girls and guys of all ages ACTING!! I highly recommend. GMMTV is keeping me invested an on TH-cam all week
As a person who was OBSESSED with Never Let Me Go, I get you! The reason I adored the show was because of the fucking angst in the first 5 episodes and Nueng being a little too relatable (I have never related to a character in a BL as much as I related to him EVER. He is me). The vibe of the show is all so intense and serious but then again as you said once, GMMTV does NOT know how to do serious that well 💀 I think another reason i liked it was because I had school and it was the only thing I allowed myself to watch during school and I loved looking forward to it. I think episode 7 is when it started going downhill for me (episode 6 was a bit empty too) because episode 7 was MY FAVORITE EPISODE EVER. NOTHING at the time made me feel the way that episode made me feel, then the rest of the show felt disappointing, but it didn't bother me because instead of being actually a slip or suddenly getting bad it just progressively started to have weird plotholes, random things left unaddressed , and characters that were left in the middle (like maggie, or even Palm's father). There was ALWAYS something missing, and I can't tell if its because of the acting (wherein sometimes I felt like Pond did a better job that Phuwin?? and it feels a little uncoordinated) or the writing which is probably the reason, and I absoluteky hate it when the main conflict starts unfolding at the VERY END of the 11th episode just to end 5 minutes in episode 12 because HELLO??? I still am very much biased about Never Let Me Go, I love PalmNueng very much but god do I wish they worked with it just a little bit more. Just a little more depth would've been cool, especially for the anticipation of ANY PLOT TWIST regarding Kit being the villain, or who had killed Nueng's father (the literal premise of the show???) because it felt like a plot device to get him to meet Palm. The fan theories and analysis were wayy too good, and it feels like the show just ended up sticking to what it knew it was going to like. This show is still very dear to me
I love MSP and Moonlight Chicken so much and I genuinely don't know which I love more because I love them for such different reasons. Both skyrocketed into my top ten bls ever easily. Underwhelming is a good description for NLMG. There are some scenes that are just absolute masterpieces, but somehow the overall just fell short. I feel like the show needed more time to flesh out storylines and characters and would have functioned better with longer episodes, or like 2 extra episodes. Boss and a babe was cute, and I enjoyed it. I definitely agree that it needed to not just brush over the Tian plotline though. P'New shows are pretty hit or miss for me. UWMA and My only 12% are incredible, but LBC and SIMM are just trash. I'm also enjoying Be my favorite. I also started watching it for Gawin lmao. Kawi does irritate me sometimes though. I feel like he just treats others thoughtlessly. Pisang I'm really liking though. They are doing an amazing job with his character and showing what its like to come to terms with your sexuality. Lastly the warp effect. Such a good show! I need more shows like this with all different kinds of queer people instead of just gay men or just lesbians.
