Well done Kristy! To make the glass a little safer in handling (after cutting) you can sandpaper the edges.

Thanks for the tip Glenn! The sharpening stones from hardware stores (carborundum I think they are called?) are easier to handle than sandpaper on those edges, I was always worried I would slice off a finger! I'm a bit lucky, I have a German made glass grinder with a diamond grinding head which whips through it in no time! Fantastic for shapes like circles or with curved edges :)

Wish I'd seen this *before* I tried to cut my glass. Back to the store I go...

The most important piece of safety equipment when cutting glass is having Kristy do it for you but if you can't then it will be safety glasses!!!!!

I would like to see more videos like this. Your channel can be about picture frames. Have you tried to make glass squeak by rubbing a woolly jumper? That can be done by licking glass, letting it dry and rub it on your jumper. You can show that in a video.

Always! i mean always scratch the glass exactly the opposite direction. hand must come to your side at the end of scratching

Nice tips to cut glass. I would snap the cut glass using gloves; why take a chance.

You win awesomeness! Requirement for my course was for it to be interactive... being that I already spent three days making this (first time video maker) the only time I had for interactive imagination was the two slides at the end ha! :) But you still win awesomeness....
