Bruh I was just watching electrobooms video about the usb killer and I get this notification.
Electrobooms is really entertaining indeed :) always producing great content.
@@UsbKill yeah i sub electroboom
I was watching electroboom and I came to see this video
@@UsbKill and everythingapplepro does many usb killer videos
Ofc devices are vulnerable to electric shocks on the data lines. What you're doing is fully out of the USB spec. It is like saying that 100% of the human bodies are vulnerable to gun shots.
It would be interested to see a video what parts gets destroyed and how expensive the repair is on a computers and phones.
Imagine a company got collapsed by insider with this equipment
At 2:55 you can see that it's blowing the landings on components. You can even see the solder deform. At least thats what it looks like.
The fix would be repairing the landing or installing jumpers. Not a fun repair.
Just wondering, can any power supply be replaced or is everything just dead? Can anything be Salvaged?
As someone that struggles with money, this pains me to see, but it's so cool 😭
If you did it on a docked Switch, would it fry the console in the dock or just the dock?
I can already see Linus buying this
i don't think it ll happen :)
Maybe true but still maybe fun....
@@UsbKill usbkill v5 for 150 bucks when?
He wouldn't want to promote it... bet there's a few rolling around the lmg office for testing though!
Apparently, one of Linus' staff members did. -- th-cam.com/video/Y37-PfXZujM/w-d-xo.html
What is the wireless transmitter? Arduino I'd like to know for another project the remote is a great idea
Does this show any visual damage like the burned mark after killing the device?
If the Usbkill works on Macbook Pro 2020 then I guess it will also work on the M1 version, yes?
1:36 How did it killed a USB mouse without voltage?
I tried the USBKill V3 with the iPhone 13 Pro and it didn't worked, nothing happens, seems the newer 13 and 14 iPhones does not provide power thru the lightning port anymore like the old versions. Can the USBKill V4 bypass that and kill a 13/14 iPhone ?
I looked around but I can't seem to find an answer. What is the purpose of this device? Why would anyone want to use it?
If the battery on the usb killer stick were to deplete, how are you going to be able to charge it or replace the battery?
You won’t. It happened to me. Battery no longer takes a charge. It is now a brick.
@@blkonblk17 well at least you can power the small wireless remote with a micro usb cable! If the battery were to deplete on that
Do you need the adapter kit or can any USB to usb-c adapter be used.
some adapters will melt or simply won't work. so... yeah better use the adapters from the kit, thos in usbkill kits, the most common adapters are already included.
hey there, i have a question, i bought it for testing on my old computers and can it potentially cause fire? it hasnt arrived yet and i need to know
It could but unlikely
Does it affect the data too?
You should test the USB Killer 4.0 vs Tesla
Yes
Absolutely.
Hi, I want to disable a play station 5, it is possible with this device? Thank you!
Is it totally destroy the mobile or computer... Or just the charging port
Is it possible to find out that the laptop has been damaged with a USB killer? Would a computer technician be able to diagnose that the equipment was burned using a USB killer?
Following
That intro is like old “You wouldn’t steal a DVD”
Does this destroy the hard drive or just the power supply?
No just the motherboard the hard drive still functioning
Hello, can you do it with a professional projector epson any model?
If you can adapt it to display port, the answer is almost certainly yes
Why would you want to fry an epson projector?
@@logemcdoge4620exactly wtf😆
Any way to make it work with oneplus 9 pro? does nothing :(
I tried to usb kill an sp2 vape device using a usb to usb c adapter. The vape still survive

my neighbor stole my wifi several months ago. We changed the password, now they buy their own wifi.
This thing can destroy a router.
I think you can see where Im going from here
Remote Control and router goes boom
I'm confused, we need more context;
Stole as in the password, or the physical router?
can destroy a router as in you went in their house and plugged it in?
Can I buy it on amazon
I want to buy this product. Can it be delivered to Japan?
yes
Amazing, "Insurance companies hate this these guys"
How do i get one?
Can the xbox series x or ps5 survive this attack?
Almost certainly not
I'd love to get a fast answer as I need to purchase a product that does this. Does this work on USB 2 and USB 3 on Desktop computers? Thanks in advance!
This is something out of a James bond movie.
hmm, nope it is the state of actual technology :p
and its a pretty simple principle!
Hey usb kill you can still charge the iPhone 11 with wireless charging
hey no, and it still reboots endlessly until it dies completely.
Oh ok
And also looking forward to youtubers testing it
@@UsbKill what is when I change the battery ?
what is prventing somone from pluging this in to a random computer
Nothing really, but most people have morals. Butttt... there is an exception to be made on some people who are straight up dicks.
literally nothing, The killer itself is not illegal to carry, its just ilegal to use it to destroy others property. If they don't get caught by camera or a person they cant be held accountable really.
Protect your shit fam
painful but damn never see this before
Might be a wierd question, but what is the point of these? just to fuck with people's possessions?
Basically, no practical application exists in this regarding testing aside from your electronics being hit from lightning your desktop data is still recoverable regardless of hardware malfunction.
Most tv has USB ports so that will most likely fired the port
It likely just hits the CPU data lines what makes it die, everything else should be OK
@@MartinRusnak probably then the cpu need to be replaced
@@VOLTRONDEFENDER4440 Most likely you also need to replace the mainboard, since the shock had to go thourgh the USB CPU bridge whitch is located there. Anyway, the storage, GPU, PSU would survive.
Would a retailer issue a replacement under warranty for your TV?
Probably. Unless you tell them what you did.
Wouldn’t they find out fraud??
@user-ju6vx4ug5u well, that's what ik asking. My TV has extremely bad screen burn but unfortunately the 5 year warranty does not cover it. Not exactly fair that is it
Graphics card not supported?
USB kill price???
so if you want to trash all that stuff why dont you just use a usb port and attach it to the zipper of a lighter
Can you control it with your phone??
Yes there is an application .you just need to plug several USB and control with A Remote Trigger or Application
imagine this can do the same but without connecting
Connect it to power grid
sooo, youre just sending high voltage through the charge ports? it will kill the product but i doubt it will damage any data stored... wich makes this useful how? except in the intrest of vandalism
insurance claim purposes
You can return devices before warranty expires since it typically fries the motherboard
Any one try it on iphone XR?!
Work or not?!

Under which circumstances someone will buy and use this? What is the purpose of destroying other people devices?
Connect it to charger
Every one of these devices came about because of Ross Uhlbrict. If he had had this he would be free as he ought to be since it was grabbing his laptop away and instantly putting a USB device into it, copying everything that got him convicted.

Anyone use this on random coffee shop usb?
Try doing this on a tesla
Why would someone want to kill their devices?
Not "their"
It’s to do it to others

Me: carefully nurturing every single device I've bought from my hard-earned money.
TH-camrs: let's kill these perfectly good brand new devices that are worth more than some people's cars!
What a waste, really...
it's all trash plastic e-waste that will end up in a landfill or at the bottom of the sea anyway
@@LoFi3 Yes, but only after they've served their useful purpose that they were made for.
And in the 3rd world, where they'll end up, they would have used these things way longer than in privileged countries, where some people just finish tech stuff for 'fun'...
This video didn’t affect any outcome though. There are billions of high value electronics that are wasted every day in accidents or deliberate sabotage. Also a shocking amount of perfectly usable goods stays lost in warehouses and other storage mediums for years and then people find them 10-20 years later.
@@LoFi3 I know, but it's still not a good trend to portray deliberate destruction of goods as a normal behavior, at least in my book...
This is one of the things where poor and wealthy people's worldviews differ quite much. One appreciates every little good thing they get from life, the other can't really fathom the value of things they can easily have.

Honestly for me this is a great tool I dabble with a lot of tactical gear really waiting for a foreign invasion or collapse within the US government this is a good tool once I gain the information I need off a computer or even if I can’t and I come across enemy systems I can destroy them immediately silently and quickly
