I drove trucks in Australia from the mid 70's in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. They didn't have air conditioning back then. The temperatures were the same. We managed to do the job. It is a lot easier today.

My father fitted 8 core radiator and twin thermo fans we could drive past others we carry 2 weeks of food and we had a kitchen that can pull out in the tool box and 4x 20ltr water so many times i have saved others that have been starving trapped by floodwaters

And even after all that, we're still treated like criminals and second class citizens. After growing up in this wonderful industry and spending my life behind the wheel, I wouldn't swap it for anything. The people I've met, the places I've been, the things I've seen, and the family it has given me are irreplaceable. Maybe instead of yelling at a truckie who is supplying everything you have, maybe just give us some room, be patient while we work to keep you supplied, and occasionally thank us for keeping you alive.
Truck drivers make the world go round by driving around the world.
    Truck on.
    🤟😎👍🚛🚛🚛

A truck in Australia delivering seafood to the outback - more like ice cream. Finding a cool drink in 40 + degrees (over 100 degrees Fahrenheit) in the middle of the outback is a challenge.
People from the northern hemisphere have no real understanding just how hot and dry the outback in Australia can be in Summer, people who try to walk for help are found dead and this is why you always tell someone where you are going, how long you will be and stay with your vehicle.

100-180,000 p.a. Take out fuel bills, maintenance and tax....= Not a friggin lot for the hours and hardships endured.
