Tessie I like that you use towels instead of paper towels it saves a tree not to mention all the chemicals used to make the wood into paper towels . Great way to live everyone should notice all these environmental friendly ways thanks for showing this way of life save the planet one tree at a time
The meals looked great. We went to a church craft sale today. The only thing I bought besides guner snaps were crochet wash clothing made by an elderly grand mother. I love them they last forever and I ky u have to do is rinse after every wash and than throw them in the washing machine. No more paper towels fur me

I was told by my grandparents that hadn't very large garden. And the deer used to get to it all the time not to throw food scraps in the garden. Because then they start associating that with a feeding spot. No I don't know if that's really true or not, but that's what they told us. They had a special spot a little ways away from there that they wouldn't put food scraps. I just figured I'd share. I don't know if it's true or not, but my grandparents, as far as I know, never lied to me.😊
I don't actually meal plan because our schedules get hectic at times. I never know what my husband is wanting to do, when he comes home from work. I have been busy myself this morning. I have chicken in the slow cooker, boiled eggs and cooked some rice. And now I need to see about making some guacamole.
I do the same thing. I don't live near the store so it's not feasible to run to get stuff I don't have. I just improvise, leave out this, add that and make it work!
Is that frozen chicken in the slow cooker Tessie? I thought you had to defrost first for food safety reasons? If frozen how do you work out cooking times and temp? Thankyou
Do you actually put a full week of meals in the fridge and not the freezer. I don't let anything stay longer than four days. Am I wasting food because I was told four days is the limit. Thanks for the video.
No I dont put them on the refrigerator I freeze half of them if I don't consume something within four days I put it in the freezer some of these meals were also for other people

I would love to eat a pasta salad again but alas, I have diabetes now and have to be a bit careful.
