The original subs to match were the 302s tandem port. The one you have is the 502b very heavy but quite beady. Worth measuring the impedance on the 802s should be 6.9/7ohm anything more then possible one or more duff drivers. Had mine since 1992
When you stack them it changes the array from a hemispherical to a cylindrical pattern. This greatly improves the coverage and projection. And by the way, I have several for sale.
I used this system as my first portable dj system. Yes the 802’s have covers and have pole mounts accessory to clamp on BOTTEM of speakers. I don’t miss lugging that system around. But I was the first DJ in Dallas to use them.
i would recommend using a allen and heath gl2400 desk as a replacement and also allen and heath compliment the bose really well , i would keep it as itll keep going for years to come
How do you live with yourself. By your own admission it's worth in the neighborhood of $3k and you gave him $100. Way to take advantage. Hope someone is as kind to you someday.
It's been for sale for $800 for over a year and no takers. It's only worth what someone will pay. We bought a ton of other items st that sale too. He got it at a storage unit sale and was paying for storage so he made out fine. Some day, I'll sell it.
More likely just in the reproduction of the sound. I had to use an old scratchy mixer for the cable arrangement, so maybe a scratch or two... Sound is outstanding!

Keep the amps they are some of the best amps I have heard and very reliable.
I make my Own Amps 4000 Watt is great for a 1500W Sound. Plenty Headroom.

Might b my ears or the music u r playing sound’s tweets or woofer’s have issues
