Either your opponent had some insane read, or this is just a misplay. Sure he's right, but I feel like he pays all the crap pairs way too often for this to be a good way to play.
Only one way to win if you are gonna stay in and that ain’t by checking down. Maybe a larger size on the river would get the job done instead of the fake milker size?
