Hi, so I just wanted to say thanks for explaining all this. I got a comment from this Logan guy on one of my first few videos (like a long time ago) and (I just went to TH-cam studio to look for it and couldn't find it so maybe it was deleted, cuz it was in the "most likely to be a scam" section) I liked the comment and hearted it cuz that's what I always do but I didn't get hacked so don't get scared people. This thing isn't as big as people make it feel, not everyone is gonna get hacked, but still thanks for making this video to warn us.

I cannot express just how much I appreciate you providing clarity to this situation. I have interacted with their comments before on my own videos to troll them (ie saying "but what if I wanna be more than friends 😍") and I was very worried when I saw a video talking about the potential security threat of even just interacting with their comments.

Nice content bro, I should say I got my channel hijack in the pass and I honestly don’t believe TH-cam when they say all my files and data have been gone forever. I made reports, nothing! Just sit tight our team will look on it a month pass and still nothing. I love my videos and I can’t get them back 😓, rather I deleted feel much better but you understand and all videos in 2021 wasn’t back up no where, I only had a iPhone to keep storage and my phone stuck in recovery mode where I lost all my data

Just block them and put the term “wanna be friends” in you list of blocked words and they get listed as spam. It’ll be a lot easier to then block and report them for spam

I got the 'Sounds' bot and it said 'Whats your passion? Great video!', I didn't suspect anything, but someone said it was a bot so I deleted the comment. I haven't been hacked despite me hearting, liking and responding to the comment, so I personally don't know if it's true

I remember once logan commented on one of my videos and i replied to him not knowing it was a bot, luckily i was safe since i hadn't linked any of my accounts to my YT channel. What's funny is that he commented on 2 of my videos and since he couldn't hack me so i'm pretty sure he deleted the comments because like 2 or 3 days after he commented they were gone and I hadn't deleted them so i'm pretty sure he just gave up. And that was the only time a bot commented on my YT channel. Well not really, other bots would comment too sometimes but I found out and I deleted them.
