It's also strange that TH-cam does nothing about this. They must know about it. I mean they don't break any rules other than purchasing a channel which I think could break tos. But then again there are tons of channels still on TH-cam that shouldn't be here. lol

Evil actually used to have a "Who is Evil?" video before a few months back, and said it used to be a Spanish channel of some sort that the guy just bought and took over, and hence the bunch of subscribers.

Such a great video, I stumbled across a channel earlier and dove me into a search!
One thing is that Dam was exposed to be grooming multiple minors and he also has accounts called Damify, Dexonic and other ones.
By minors I mean people 12-14 I don't know the exact ages but I know it's somewhere in this age range.

First, great explanation of the situation. Second, while it doesn’t bother me too much that they buy channels, the problem is many of them steal comments, and Dam is actually a known p*do which is the biggest problem and I feel like more people should know about that.

TH-cam really needs to work on this, there's a lot of youtubers that makes quality content and have a few subscribers but these verified channels are just commenting everywhere, copying comments, posting only 1 or no video on their channel but still gets 100-300k subs.

This wasn't mentioned in the vid but lot of the time these accounts are stolen or jacked through the youtube gaia link which allows you to claim a channel with just the password and username through a database breach usually and their account will be associated to your email address. Usually happens with inactive channels that just fell off

Now they are commenting by stealing a top comment. It's really sick to see someone get 200 or 2k likes, and a verified bot get 2k or 10k likes and top comment via plagiarism. Watch out for "Casual/Pepper", "Beluga" and "X"-is accused of hacking others accts for vids.
A few months ago I found a bunch of Vietnamese channels with tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of subscribers with videos only at a few thousand views. One of the accounts linked to a channel that made videos about how to buy channels, which makes me think either the original channel owner sold their account or even got their account hacked by someone else who sold the account. It’s a business at this point. Either accounts get botted to a high sub count or accounts get sold or stolen. It’s bizarre.

Fun fact 1:40 and 2:15 the reason because of this is because they have bought hacked accounts. And some of these accounts could even be owned by the same person for all we know.. super shady stuff. They need to be banned.
And this guy in the video said that they “most likley transferred accounts with someone” which is COMPLETELY false. If they did then in the videos that people like evil and dark made that say”who is dark?” Or “who is evil?” They woulda stated that they switched the account with someone. But they didn’t say that.. what they said is it was old content that “there friend used to make” or they say it was “content I used to make”. They never said they transferred accounts.Forgot to mention selling accounts is illegal cause it violates googles “use of 3rd party website.” And it violates a couple other things aswell. Most likley people like evil, Four, dark etc. bought there account and from recent videos about the topic they could’ve been hacked accounts aswell

I saw him stream a loop of him "giving away" 25 free battle passes in roblox bedwars (yes they have a copy of minecraft bedwars) and kids actually believed it, it looked like he didn't even know how to play the game, he wasn't a comment bot before, now he is, he became one about 1-2 months ago, probably more.
Hello! 599 win player on Roblox Bedwars here. The game is trash and unbalanced due to engine not being able to function, due to this being Roblox. Minecraft is so much better for Bedwars, and is a lot better in combat, balance, and fixed range. However, I'm too poor to afford Minecraft, so I gotta cope with Bedwars, and it's insanely addicting. The shitty part is there are so many of them that now ppl who just comment a lot on videos (like me) are getting harassed and accused of being bots. I can confirm that buying a channel is against TOS, reason being it is exactly the same as buying subscribers, will say I was unaware about the boost for verified channels tho, feels kinda like an unfair advantage in a way but it is what it is
I just made a video about that. channels with 150k subs and 1 video... half of them have boosted subscribers in some way. they are just commenting on popular sheet on popular youtube channels so kids follow them.... and once they have 100 subs with 0 videos they jsut start making some sheet videos. anime, fornite... no wonder they got copyrighted. abusing other people's property/content and abusing good willed people with their pretentious comments. and vertified youtuber comments get shown at the top...with my latest video I have proof. verified youtubers and disabling dislikes is bad for youtube

These verified channels are so annoying. sometimes they copy and paste their comment and its just everywhere, the same thing. Say if i was watching a video about.. a murder or something, but the video didnt provide enough information, i would go to the comment section to gather more information, but i cant since its just filled with the same comment over and over again. Their comment gets more likes since they're verified and the ones about the video just get drowned out. Honestly, youtube needs to do something about this.

What I believe is happening is that these channels are hacked, then bought in discord servers, such as LightBuy. pablo is one of the verified commenters from a hacked account. If you look on the way back machine, you can see that used to upload gacha videos, then proceeded unlist them all. them all. That’s sus. Evil deleted his “who is” video because he got exposed for the reason that you stated in the video “reading of a script.” You can see this on the way back machine. You can even find the email linked to these channels and using this information, you can put the email into a website where it precisely finds the locations of where the email address was made. If you do the procedure twice, where the channel was hacked, (now) then you will find out that the locations are different for just about every channel! Basically proving that these channels were hacked or moved to a different location. Now, I might be wrong, but, I would just like to share my opinion. Guys, like so time works can see this!!

Well today I learned that first impression is not everything on the surface you know about someone.
Another big problem is that some 'verified' youtubers actually read comments that got quite a few a likes at the start and they think the comment is good and just steal their comment and use their verified check mark to get more likes out of a stolen comment

A lot of their channels were unverified/mass deleted recently. Weird...
They also tend to copy and paste comments over and over again.
This is very common on TH-cam. Actually, until very recently I used to do the same, though my subscribers are hidden, they're not very many compared to those other channels. Being verified in comment sections very clearly boots your comment, I had once written a comment that got a lot of likes leading to a verified commenter copying it and getting twice as many likes. I do not think this is against the TH-cam ToS and so it still goes on. A lot of the comments are also written on a certain TH-camr's video once, and then copied on to all other videos of that same TH-camr. A few examples are "Jimmy will have the coolest stories to tell when he's a grandfather." sent on many Mr. Beast videos, "Beluga doesn't know this but he's making all our days better!" on videos by Beluga, and "He's not just changing lives, he's becoming Netflix." on Dharr Mann videos. As I said, I used to do this too. There also used to be other more generic ones sent on music videos, such as "It's crazy how many people come back to this everyday. This song is legendary!". Technically, these could be called "spam comments" but TH-cam doesn't really pay much attention to them.

Wait a minute… The Pablo guy was talking about the Hi channel, but the comment under his said that the channel used to be named skittle. If I remember correctly, there was a channel (it was called beluga I think) that made videos about beluga himself talking to skittle and Pablo on discord. Skittle had the same profile picture as the one on the thumbnail of the video on the Hi channel, as well as Pablo and beluga having their TH-cam profile picture as theirs. The older videos would be like “Every discord mod in a nutshell”, or something like that? I’m still not sure, but it does really seem weird that all three of them were in one video. If someone knows anything else about this, please tell me, I’m very interested.
Some accounts are hacked and some are bought. I'm not sure what this whole organization is but its a smart idea to have the checkmark

I was actually going to do a video on this and even went as far as interviewing some of these channels, found out a lot of these guys are predators / just not cool people and it turned out to just be a coincidence that people were doing this.

In hi’s channel, I just watched The Who is hi video. It said that he just likes to put nice comments in the comments section and support channels.

My theory is that these verified channels are people who are using subscriber bots and going into comments and getting a lot of likes, which drives people to the channel where some people subscribe, and when the channel has a certain amount of subscribers, they sell the account to someone, and the cycle repeats itself
Everytime I wan to comment on JenerationDIY's video, I often get replys by ( I think bots ) people with the name "Press me to have *sex* with me", and when I replied to the comment, they just deleted it. I don't know if this has to be with TH-cam but this keeps happening everyday at my comment on JenerationDIY's videos. It's really disgusting since I'm a minor and these kinds of replies are happening everyday at my comment. I think it only happens if I comment on JenerationDIY's video because whenever I want to comment on someones elses video, it just has normal replies from people.

i found an interesting guy named b or dark, he comment like a bot but in his channel he say that he bought the channel from a guy and the channel used to be an editing channel, inthe playlist section u can see the old vid btw. hee also has a discord
