    Also you can reuse the contents inside of a store bought pickled stuff to see if you are going to like it. Then you can make more stuff if it is something you would like.

    Concerning vinegar I put some in while boiling the eggs it does seem help get the shells off.

    How many minutes do you boil your eggs and why do you stir them while boiling??
    Cause I've never heard of such when boiling any type of egg. Thanks

      She said 3-4 minutes at roiling boil and stir gently to help the yolks stay in the center of the eggs

    I just pickled my first quail eggs a little over a month ago. We had too many and I was trying to find ways to use them up. I had never had a pickled quail egg before then. I did some wit the beets & juice, and regular pickling. I preferred the regular pickling version, but I think I should have diluted the vinegar, because it was a bit too strong.

      Yes that’s why we dilute it and use apple cider vinegar so it still has a bit of a vinegar flavor but not too strong.

      @WhiskeyTangoFarms  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes some of our eggs have a blue tint on the inside.

      Thats kind of typical of a lot of quail eggs; even those that don't have the celadon gene, or least mine do and I don't have celadon..
