To the discovery channel please make a “where are they now” series on preppers. To see how many are still doing this and how many have stopped or whatever they are doing. Thank you
Yes!! AND AND also make a whole new season of doomsday preppers with all new people as well, I’m getting tired of re watching the ones available after the 500th time lol
@@tombowers536 There was one prepper in the series that admits that they were mapping out preppers to hit for supplies, I think they called themselves the raider. I think one of them got arrested because one of them is a fellon and was not suppose to own a firearm but was filmed using one.
I love Janet and her goal to help as many people as possible. Imagine what her house would look like if her hubby was on board. She must be an earth angel.
That's really sad that she feels she has to hide such a big part of her life from her husband. When your spouse has an interest in something..you support them in it, even if you don't share the same passion.
She needs therapy...and all that food will get spoiled...they last for 2 maybe 3 years, I feel sorry for her, she needs help, what she is doing is not healthy at all.
Far ahead squandering their life savings on paranoid nonesense. Those poor kids. You know when crazy daddy dies they will sell all that prepper junk and move to the city. That is what all the many prepper spawn I have known in my life have done.

The love how the parents always say “we” as if to include the kids. Do you see the look in their eye at times? Would these kids be thinking these fears if the parents didn’t instill them? C’mon. Let kids be kids. Adulthood is enough for anyone. Don’t take their childhood. Sorry guys… can’t come out to play… prep’n for doomsday.
You have to admit the world isnt getting any better. I wouldnt make it a were all gonna die scenario but teaching them the skills could be the difference between life and death if they were to get lost or something bad actually happened and dad didnt make it.

Honestly, some people really don’t have the brains 🧠 they were born with. How do people think digging a hole in there garden and shoving a metal roof on it, with some provisions, lets say for 12 months. How long do they actually know, a nuclear winter 🥶 is going too last??????? Ah, hello. Far, Far, Far longer than 12 months!!!!! So what are you going too do know????? People keep going on the fact the sea level is going too rise!!!!! Ok, yes it is. BUT, and here’s the big BUT, It’s already been that high in the past. Ok, take Harlech Castle. It’s a golf ⛳️ course away from the sea. Let’s say 1 1/2 miles away, Ok. Harlech Castle 🏰 as high up the cliff it’s on. I think the steepest road in the world or something. It actually has a dock for the ships too unload at LEAST 3/4 the way up the cliff. So you look at the sea position now, as too then. Of course sea levels are going too rise, as the sea has already been up that far. What goes around comes around. I also remember a few years ago, watching this scientist telling us, we are still coming out of the last Ice Age!!!!!!!! I think it was a BBC program. The earth, just like the sun ☀️ has a rhythm. We’re just along for the ride basically. 🤷♀️🙏🇬🇧💖🤷♀️🙏🇬🇧💖👍👍🧠🧠
I run them all over the country as part of my continuity protocols as "safe houses". Don't see the issue with them for the real likely scenarios we are facing and will face. Just make sure if you have bunks and such they are broken down, don't look like someone might live there and certainly camouflage your supplies, which is easy to do. Plus you can also store all the useless junk you've hoarded all these years 😅 Yes the overhead adds up but that's the price I pay for options and it gives me the most important option, the ability to adapt. Most "preppers" are deluding themselves keeping their supplies in their homes. History shows us the government can and will seize hoarders goods and I guarantee there's little to zero people who can effectively protect their supplies, from any enemy but especially the gov. 👍
What?! Just think what inheritance we leave them. School shootings, pandemics, species extinctions, extreme weather, and climate weirding and diminished access to safe water to drink. I think it realistic to involve kids at the degree they can understand. The skills and self reliance they get will serve them well above others who have had it incredibly handed to them.
At the end there when the couple put in a small safe room.. 🤔 It’d sure be a whole lot safer if they had put the hinges inside of the room they were going into.. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@ 4:40 "not to many families eat bugs together!" Well... don't worry lady! There are a lot of very powerful people/ organizations that are working very hard doing EVERYTHING they can to get EVERYONE (well except for themselves) eating crickets/ bugs!
Janet, GREAT hiding ideas for food. You will need that advantage when people takes all your "visible" items. I understand your passion to help people, anybody that wants to help people in a situtaion like this will die when total chaos sets in. I would not tell ANYBODY that I am a prepper unless they are a prepper as well and then with extreme caution.
Anyone that knows the Lady from the "Armageddon Inn" and hungry in such a event, will take what she has. She broke the first rule...NEVER talk about your supplies outside of family. And family members should know to keep quiet also.
Her goal was always to help people. She most likely knows that might mean bandits will gravely harm her. The Armageddon Innkeeper probably has made peace with it.
Human society is built on the backs of individuals like Janet. She does what she thinks is right and considers others even in hypotheticals of her own peril/death. Maybe a little out there, but a strong person.
U know Noah s story s made up right ? So yeah we re laughing at poeple like you reading fantasy books thinking they are history books. Keep living in fear
Bible mentions the dead being raised!! Might want to research that!! Also if zombies were not going to Exist then why does the word ZOMBIE!!! That's just like people trying to say GOD AND JESUS Are the same person!! O , really!! Then why do we have the words father and son exist! People stop denying and start Repenting, time is near!!!
The more I see these episodes, the more I'm convinced that these people have anxiety and other issues going on in their lifes, and they use all these prep efforts to try to have control over something.
haha. I love how the second clip of the older lady, where she hides all of her food. Yet, she has no problem with what anyone in the world can find out online that there is a metric ton of food under her bed :D
Something everyone should take away from this. A lot of ex military vets are preppers. Now that could just be, what they have seen, or can imagine after service... But, some of the most capable people in the world are prepping. Prepping for the inevitable I believe.... Somehow, someway.
The experts missed the most critical problem with the "Armageddon Inn", her husband is not onboard with her. If her prepping does cause friction in their marriage, that will just create more problems if a crisis does happen (let's all hope that what she's prepping for doesn't happen). As for the girl in Haiti recused 15 days after the earthquake, I'd like to know what her source of water was. You can go for several weeks without food, but my understanding is that 15 days is well beyond how long we can survive without water even in ideal conditions.
I sure hope the first guy is making an effort to actually store regular food and maybe setting up to grow crops and raising livestock in a closed environment instead of relying on eating bugs.
Believe it or not thats what we were taught during the cold war. I remember running duck and cover drills in the 80's at school. Grab your blanket get under your desk with your face to the floor and wait for the all clear.
I made two small Faraday cages with large tins that held cookies originally!! Put all the electronics in a plastic bag and then put it inside the giant cookie tin.. frs & gmrs + cb walkie talkies..(4 ft telescopic antennas that can be attached..10-15 Mile range .) & A crank -solar am /fm radio receiver..
The lady with all the little cubby holes of food. Seems 1 rat or mouse could destroy much of it. Also it won't be very good in a few years without better packaging.
The only issue with Janet is the types of food she hides… Most pre-packaged foods or bioengineered oils don’t last long. Also, she needs to understand long-term food storage.
Sure she could pair up with seed guy, and sustain their family until the seeds grow to crop. Plus the hundreds of people who will pass through for apocalypse stew.
Doomsday inn has no water storage, zero security and no way to decon people exposed to fall out. All serious issue's. Also telling people to show up unprepared is a horrible idea. If a few people know that you prep and tell you "I'm showing up at your house" Your response should be okay, I expect you to come with X, amount of food, water purification, medications, santiation needs as well as a handgun, and rifle with X amount of ammo. They should also have a medical kit for minor care and traumatic injuries. If not, don't bother showing up. You will be turned away. If they make an effort and lose the supplies, then do your best to help them. . Unlike the guy with 30 guns and 1500 rounds of ammo. That realistically covers 1 guns with some training for a person. 500 minimum for a handgun and 1000 per rifle is bare minimum I've heard from most people. Bolt guns and single shots, 250-500 rounds. He also had very odd choices of .410 for a shotgun. In the current market it's nearly impossible to find and low powered considering the shell. 12 ga or 20 ga at a minimum for medium-sized game. 22lr is great but 1000 rounds wouldn't even take up a 1/4 of an ammo can. Very limted supply for the use he is stocking up for. 2 boxes of bulk 22lr is over 1000 rounds and about $40/ea. When this was recorded it was like $9
First guy, great job on getting an AK better suited for defense. I’m personally an AR guy myself because you can really make it fit your body and can swap out uppers to reach out further than .223/5.56
@@glenndouglas8822 I like ars but end of word scenario an ak would be great they have lower tolerances so they are way more reliable when dirty and uncleand and not properly maintained also the 7.62 would be better for hunting bigger things like deer
@@glenndouglas8822 I see what you are saying as an American it sounds like you like the ar 15 more then the ak but coming from a no gun country it makes sense your saying it like who needs any high capacity rifle well in america even more so in the south everyone has guns because it is our right not our priviledge our country was founded on our rights to have firearms so you would be extremely disadvantaged not to have one there are more guns then people here
Interesting how a lot of the televised preppers seem to focus on ONE scenario. When the real SHTF, its probably going to be a SERIES of these scenarios coming together in a longer timeframe to trigger and amplify other scenarios. EX: climate change leads to failed crops, leads to famine, leads to pandemic, leads to political upheaval, leads to war, leads to nukes/emp etc....
What would be the point of war lmao that one doesn't make much sense. If the other countries are experiencing the same thing invading them in anyway or fighting them is going to be pointless they have nothing same as we would and most countries at fjrst would probably be trying to control their citizens and stop looting and violence until it gets uncontrollable
Back in the 1950s we had air raid drills on a regular basis. We we're to duck under our desks and cover our heads. I remember thinking how stupid this was .
Well.. I live in the 🇺🇸, I'm in the northeast. It's good to have a plan! If there's a fire, a hurricane, a blizzard. Chance favors the prepared mind, right? But... human spider-holes, mealworm stir-fry... I am just saying during a hailstorm of asteroids will you probably remember to grab your wok? I wonder about kids these days... and just, you know, on the off chance yellowstone just continues to hiccup, Jupiter continues to eat space rocks, and nobody presses the nuke red button... will little Jack and Diane turn out okay? Or will they be walking around in a full hazmat suit living off grid homesteading with enough firearms to make the ATF want to do housecalls regularly like the Avon lady? I'm saying this with love and kindness! Just... I don't know.... this is the kind of music David Koresh liked to waltz to, that's all....
ikr, sometimes feel that prepping mentality welcomes their prepping-efforts to bear fruits instead of actively aiming to avoid certain situations, like spreading awareness and kindness so it won't come to conflicts for example. Sure sounds naiive, but most people are decent and reasonable, with rare cases who would do harm without purpose. Like the mentality to leave a better world for our children, but not even thinking about leaving better children for our world.
You have a point if kids going to school these days have no fear of a shooter, nor is it uncommon in a bit g city that public places become scenes of snipers or shooters.
I noticed John is using glass bottles as targets, I hope he is teaching his children to pick up the broken glass so small animals don't cut their feet. Survival is rough enough without fools and inconsiderate people making it worse.
OOOOOoooooo that canned food will be so,so yummy in a few decades. That petrified pasta with long gray hairs all over the package will be appetizing also.
It's much more likely that a single dirty bomb would be exploded first to assure the build works, perhaps with some non-radiological substance first, maybe a bag of fentynl, to ascertain spread and still create a level of fear. Then, if the test is good, set off the dirty bombs 1 to 3 days later.
The guy with the fallout room worried about the dirty bombs, he should have that room staged prepped and ready. He shouldn't be trying to put up bags over Windows after a bomb has fallen.
BUCKET with a garbage bag inside. Put a cushy toilet seat on it. And use pet bedding to help keep down the smell. Sprinkle some wood shavings in there and on top each time you use it
37:08 ok great now he got to do some medical studies, and some firefighter formation and he will be a decent survivor XD What would u do in life ? Would you have fun and enjoy your time here ? Nope i will spend all my time preparing to disaster and then just die like any other human beings but i will die knowing i was ready for a disaster 😂🤣🤣

One day our sun will die and eventually the universe will die so why have kids...well don't just get out the way
To be clear, I meant to say, when living in such paranoia.
because life isnt about how long you live. its about being in communion with God. God loves little children.
@@israeluncensored2341so your
god is a groomer?
Is anyone else waiting for Hank Hill to make an appearance?
Hides food from vandals then shows where food is to hidden lol😅
But all jokes aside I remember the 70's and 80's and air raid drills at school and trips to the air raid shelter under the gym.
"My hobby is collecting spaghetti" lololol
Y'all got a shotgun. In a saferoom. In a house with no children. And it's unloaded? OK.
is anyone really asking for doomsday preppers? give us the good ones.
WHEN THE GRID GOES DOWN. YOU BETTER BE READY. 😬 🤔
First guy, great job on getting an AK better suited for defense. I’m personally an AR guy myself because you can really make it fit your body and can swap out uppers to reach out further than .223/5.56
Why on earth does anyone want an AK?
@@glenndouglas8822 to add to a collection haha
@@glenndouglas8822 I like ars but end of word scenario an ak would be great they have lower tolerances so they are way more reliable when dirty and uncleand and not properly maintained also the 7.62 would be better for hunting bigger things like deer
@@djsjmc511 I'm from England so it's soooooo different over here. Respect.✌️
First guy “Im preparing my family for the total destruction of the power grid” He’s playing baseball!
Back in the 1950s we had air raid drills on a regular basis. We we're to duck under our desks and cover our heads. I remember thinking how stupid this was .
"My hobby is collecting spaghetti."
Let that sink in.
I cant imagine trying to take a walk when some looney toon comes over to grill me about survival techniques lmao
Thanks, Janet. Now I know your house is a food box.
Ok, for logistics, second Janet chick is smart regardless of the comments from others. Cheers on that
"Moving towards disarming"
And to the last segment, yes Solar Flares to pose threat to life on earth, if there wasnt a threat, we wouldnt be human
If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail 💯
"Nagasaki and Hiroshima got no warning did they?". Actually, yes they did.
I noticed John is using glass bottles as targets, I hope he is teaching his children to pick up the broken glass so small animals don't cut their feet. Survival is rough enough without fools and inconsiderate people making it worse.
They are better off collecting the glass and using it as a base layer along with broken pottery in pots to grow medicinal herbs in.
32:36 Well that advice aged like milk.
I store food so I don't have to eat bugs
It only makes sense
Your food will run out one day.
Makes a safe room and puts the hinges on the outside?
14:32 🤔🤔 but the open door can't be good right?? 😞✌
Thank you. I didn't know I had to inslate my metal box to make a Faraday cage.
32:30 not anymore ey .... best get prepping people...
You need to be ready for anything!
Sorry, Jack looks exactly like "iron mike" from "Days Gone" wich is a leader of a Camp of survivors after Apakolypse 😅
Was Mr. Major asked to remove his patches from his overalls?
The guy with the fallout room worried about the dirty bombs, he should have that room staged prepped and ready. He shouldn't be trying to put up bags over Windows after a bomb has fallen.
So when you hiding how you going to use the restroom ?
I guess save those bags they give at the grocery store for #2 and uh...idk for #1 lmao maybe lean out the window and hold your breath lmao
BUCKET with a garbage bag inside. Put a cushy toilet seat on it. And use pet bedding to help keep down the smell. Sprinkle some wood shavings in there and on top each time you use it
She is worried about guarding her stash yet posts this on TH-cam for hundreds of thousands of people to see.
A lot of the food Janet is stocking up on well go bad because she's not storing it for long term use.
1500 rounds of ammo. he is either lying or woefully unprepared.
The thing is Japan did get warning of the nuclear bombing they dropped leaflets but almost no one listened because they didn't know about the bomb.
No, don’t stock up on canned and dry foods!! Stock up on bugs!!🤮
😂
They should of called it the “Armagedd-Inn”
Lol that familys watching way too much you tube
37:08 ok great now he got to do some medical studies, and some firefighter formation and he will be a decent survivor XD
What would u do in life ? Would you have fun and enjoy your time here ? Nope i will spend all my time preparing to disaster and then just die like any other human beings but i will die knowing i was ready for a disaster 😂🤣🤣
How are you gonna forage in a radioactive landscape?
People in Mexico already have an upper hand, they been eating crickets, grasshoppers and Escamoles (ant eggs) for years. 😂😂
These people are not so crazy now.
I bet her hubby has changed his thinking, the way things are going!
30 weapons and 1500 rds. Is short on ammo
