I was wondering when you would get to this masterpiece. This totally kills. Atarashii Gakko headbanging on a tori will remain one of the most iconic images for me.
Phenomenal. The visuals in this MV are Incredible. The stain imagery is awesome. Grungy, post apocalyptic, traditional Japanese culture, even some Japanese horror movie elements (The Grudge & The Ring come to mind). Movie quality production.
I love the expressions on Suzuka's face during her section. MtH and AG are both groups that are constantly going wild with their insane energy, but every time Suzuka is on screen or on stage she looks like she having more fun in that moment than anyone else in the world could possibly be.
I always love your faces during any MtH reaction xD You go from giddy, to a bit scared, to awed, to finally, "That was a thing." lmao The structure of this is very MtH because it is one of their own songs from their 2007 album Bu-ikikaesu. Attarashi Gakko fills in a lot of the areas where Nao would have been singing in the original. Love Rin's rap and Sazuka on the megaphone. I think it was a great collab on coming back to a familiar favorite. I'm going to need a CD budget on my trip to Japan xD
I think this is the collab' of the year both in terms of music and in terms of symbols in the video. My favorite part is first break of AG with Suzuka signing. Of you pay attention in the back the two factory's chimneys are like the entrance of a shinto shrine with traditional votive papers... So powerful image
@@raddofzennla The song is fun, but Ano doesn't do it for me. I put her in the same category as KPP...initially intriguing, but not much there to develop.
Some Japanese groups/artists, old and new. Take your pick: BAND-MAID [All their songs... really!], LOVEBITES [Break the Wall, Raise some Hell, and all the other songs], BABYMETAL [All their songs, because they are all different], MAXIMUM THE HORMONE [Yoshu Fukushu], HAGANE [Tenka Goken (Trad: Five Swords of Heaven)], NEK! MTH the Godparents of the Japanese metal/rock scene…they inspired so many Metal-Rock musicians in Japan! Glad they still release new songs…this calibration was amazing! 🤘🦍🥷👸🏻👀PO!
Shimi is an old MTH song and this is a collaboration of different styles of music and also generations, but not vastly different attitudes. It works so well because the original version of Shimi had the slower more melodic parts sung by their drummer, Nao, so substituting Atarashii Gakko sounds natural - Nao still gets to sing the final "melodic bit". AG!'s dance background and their hair make for some awesome headbanging.
Yep, certainly one of MTH's best songs and together with the ladies from AG a collab I didn't know I wanted in this form. 🔥🤘🏻 I noticed that I haven't seen a certain band name here on your channel for a very, very long time, who also happen to have a cover of Shimi on their channel. Nemophila. :) Whose drummer Tamu by the way also makes no secret of the fact that the good Nao is a huge inspiration for her and the reason why she plays drums in the first place. :) _____________________ _"America invented rock. England improved it. And now, Japan has perfected it."_ Band-Maid | Gacharic Spin | Lovebites | Nemophila | East of Eden | Hanabie | Asterism | Trident | NEK! | Hades | etc.
MTH has had a huge influence on the current Japanese music scene. Hanabie started out as a MTH cover band. Drummers like Akane Hirose of Band-Maid and Tamu Murata of Nemophilia are huge fans of Nao.
This is our collaboration song of the year for us. Close behind are Knosis with the song Fuhai feat. Yukina from Hanabie. Definitely watch it if you don't know it yet.
You seem to be a lot les phased by this stuff now. I remember when I first found your channel the Japanese switch-up change-up would make you shake your head and do double-takes. Your channel is fun.
Honestly it's as perfect a collab as I've seen. But you need to know both bands. And with Nao. She does all this and looks like that at that age after two kids. I hurt my back because I sleep weird
That drummer's name is Junna. Yes, most people who watch this channel already know who she is. OSN has already done a video of her drum cover of "Ashes of the Dawn" by Dragon Force. Well worth watching if you haven't seen it.
you liked archspire so... Beyond Creation - Earthborn Evolution (official music video) First Fragment - La Veuve & Le Martyr (Guitars & Bass Playthrough)

I’m still more into their collab with Ano on Chu Chu Lovely, but obviously no video for that one… yet?

Freaking awesome song and reaction osn
One of the greatest collaborations I've ever heard/seen. Just on point all the way through.
You really shouldn't laugh and headbang at the same time. It hurts. They should have a warning about that too.😮 Great reaction!
😂😅🤣
The whiplash on your face throughout the reaction was enjoyable to watch.
Song of the year? Song of the decade? Pure gold!

MTH music completes AG dance in the same way the Kami Band completes Babymetal.
Yep, certainly one of MTH's best songs and together with the ladies from AG a collab I didn't know I wanted in this form. 🔥🤘🏻

Now you have to go to MTH’s page and see how this happened, it is epically funny.

sensor overload :)
Nice! Broaden your views, maybe with 200 Stab wounds - Hands of Eternity or Brat - Chain pain. Greetings from Sweden!
Check out Hagane - 天下五剣 for a really kickass drummer 😉

im curious to why you dont react to lovebites anymore?
Just wondering why I only have 720p48 in the option. Also you didn't finished the video.
The original album version is better with Nao's vocals & it's also not autotuned
