Back in 1962 when I worked for Jeff Smith at Smith's Funeral Home we had to pick up two guys who flew up to Superior in their Cessna to visit a high school friend of mine. When they left, there was no windsock to give them good wind direction, they encountered a wind shear almost as soon as they were airborne, and crashed nose first into the runway and both of them were killed instantly. Not being a pilot, I would agree, it's a very challenging airort.
Very cool! I've been fascinated by this airport for a long time, smack dab in the middle of the mountains with a questionably maintained dirt strip. Looks like a real fun challenge. Do you mind if I ask your background? You've got some great videos and a new subscriber.

We used to have friends living in Superior, The strip had a Cessna 195 based on it at that time. Other than tire ruts it looks like a good one to me.
Nice power management.
