Most likely, it would be pulled towards the hole, and bob up and down in the middle of the planet. Or, it could be affected by the gravity of the donut's outer edges, and create a figure eight orbit around Earth.

Piers Anthony had a series of books Xanth and one of the characters Ida has a small moon orbiting her head and on that moon is another version of her with another and on that one another version of her with a moon orbiting hers and so on and on one of the moons is a donut shaped world called Torus.
