Nkechi Nnachetta my issue is the bits and comedy overstay there welcome too long for my liking. i watched a gintama movie (try not spoil) and lets just say cus of a stupid joke they tried to say was necessary for plot but overstayed its welcome, many potential good feels moments were ruined.
I approve and for me he is one of the most good anime in the world cuz he is so complete because he can make you cry for a stupid reason and in 1 arc u can laugh about the "Arc Character" (sorry i don't know how to say xD) or hate him but during the Arc begun to appreciate him (Exemple: Jirochou) The main character is the waste of the society but he is badass this anime is very underrated but maybe because he's different than the others ^^ (i'm french so sorry if my english isn't good ^^)
Utsuro's entrance tho. It's one of the best entrances in fiction. A complete, unstoppable monster, makes 3 sadists tremble, owns everyone on the battlefield and walks away unscathed

Like Gintoki stopping Kamui with his sword: baam Kamui thrown in the air while vomiting 1-2 liters of blood. Also bleeding from the mouth when teeth are clenched?? It was an amazing and touching fight but the blood was quite random lmao.
lot of people in the comments telling you to skip eps or it gets better but for people who are intrested it starts at ep 3 is where it starts and it has sum storylines and chapter or episodes that are really meaningless but after it started going into serious storylines you shorta start to think "i hope by the end they'll go back to fucking around together doing pointless stuff" which in my opinion only makes you love the characters even more when a story arc can make you see that character a bit more sympathetic im not gonna try and tell you to watch it, its either your cup of tea or not but if you do stick around you start to really love and care for the main and side characters
Its always Impressing me. How Gintama Managed to Hide a Jewel of an Anime below a Pile of Rubbish. I wonder how many People just dropped the Anime cause its making such an extreme effort to hide the fact that the Anime has an fairly deep and ongoing and most of all Dead Serious Storyline.

Kagura is only 14 years old, is the youngest character in the anime and can fight people with years of experience and a lot of power. She may appeal to Yato blood, but this is something she prefers not to do just for the safety of the people around her and she is fighting alongside other people so there is no need to do everything on her own. The villain in question is immortal and the ones who had more presence in this battle were Gin and Kagura, man, do you really watch the anime?

Kagura vs Abuto, Kagura vs Kamui, Kagura deflect a frickin cannon, Kagura stopped a car, Kagura pulled Shinpachi, Sougo, Kondou and Itou from falling, Kagura vs Matako, Kagura one punched a huge hammer and Madam Saigo, etc. Plus Abuto himself said Kagura is holding back her punch when she was not in her yato mode which she only used once during Yoshiwara in Flames. So do you indeed really watch the anime and this episode? Because she bloody saved Gintoki here and she was the first to stop Utsuro when he went behind Nobume, then Utsuro himself said that Kagura still doesn't know how to use her own strength. Moreover, she does not have proper training unless you call the push-ups with a bear a training and she was the youngest in here even younger than Soyo-hime!

trust me u should watch it,i know that the first 50eps was kinda meh and the joke kind of boring(?) but then aftr 50+ eps u getting used to that kind of joke and gintama getting better,from 0 to 10/10 so quickly

Even though it was low budget in those arcs they still managed to create amazing moments😍
