Very good information. I'm by no means a hitting guru, but I know enough to realize your information is by far one of the best on TH-cam.
    Good stuff

That training aid bat you were using in this drill, where can you buy it?
Great explanation of bat lag and bat drag!

Hey Matt ! Could a bat drag start to cause pain in wrists fir female ?

Yes it can. Incorrect mechanics putting to much pressure on the wrist attempting to get into the slot quickly can “tweak” the wrist so to speak. Specially on the top hand.

@@dblankenship88 interesting. My girl started complaining in June/July and that’s about when fly balls to outfield started. I saw this and a light bulb went off. I need to get some video but I wonder if that’s what could be her issue.

@@melodyearp6272 like Matt said it’s a fairly common problem amongst youth players. I have a few 12U and 14U softball players that were sent to me that have this issue (bat drag).
One of them complained of mild wrist pain on he top hand (right hand). I cannot say 100% that fixing the bat drag solved her wrist pain issue but she hasn’t complained since.

Hmmm good question. I’m sure it could, however I had pain in my wrist no matter how I swung the bat lol

I'm trying out for my school. I'm scared because I haven't played in a few months . Probably since the ending of last school year . The coach is Casey Rasmus. Former MLB player . So I know he's gonna be looking for good players. I have no one to practice with .
