Good video! I have a near identical car (But 2.0L U.S.) for track use with a lot of the modifications mentioned. I've had very little issue so far and think the NC1 is a great move if you want to get away from the early generations to a little more power while at a similar price point. Enjoy the car and hopefully this one treats you a little better than the last!

Thank you so much and yeah they are awesome cars! I drove the car within the video around the car park and it felt amazing compared to my Ford Fiesta, the Clutch and the gearbox is insane! Super excited to get one! I’m hoping to get a 2010-1012 one as they have slightly better features and upgraded stuff to the early NCs

Car and Driver Magazine Top 10 Cars 8X, which is more than any other generation.

I always thought the NC looks very “girly”

Yeah I get what you mean, the newer versions of the NC look a lot more aggressive looking which adds a more masculine appearance to the car. I see a lot of girls with the NBs as they are the primary hairdresser cars 😂 but yeah the NC can easily be changed with body kits and upgrades to look and perform better. I personally love the ND with the way it looks, but unfortunately they’re just so expensive so I’m going for the newest version I can get which is the NC as you get a lot for your money like the heated seats, TC etc.
Nowadays you see NAs,NCs and NDs with male drivers that aren’t hairdressers lol

Yes, it is, but it’s still an amazing car.

It depends how the owner treats it, Jacob is a mechanic so he knows what he’s doing and knows what goes wrong with them

Couple of corrections here, it has a 50 litre tank capacity not 40 litre and the 1.8 engine does not have Variable Valve Timing VVT this is only fitted to the 2.0 litre variants. In case anyone is considering buying one. the position for the VVT solenoid is blanked off on the 1.8 litre. I own both and its easy to tell the difference. Brilliant well engineered cars.

Ahh thank you for the info, are you UK based? as the UK specs may be different compared to US specs

@@ThrottleFilmsTV US don't get 1.8 engines. Here in the UK the 1.8 does not have VVT you can even google it.
There was no VVT solenoid when he opened the bonnet for clarification.
