so much! ❤❤❤
OMG Africa is so unique, the people and culture. Your husband is the best. He just gets in on the fun.
Some part of Africa still have original people wow that's so nice 👌
I know, right? 😀
Botswana be the one of them
Are there fake people?
@@beatyapacho6368absolutely
We all supposed to stay original. Our hair still grow out like trees, nature still improves mental health
I pray they have a nice warm winter and that God blesses them abundantly. It’s so nice that the folks there can make soap and perfume from leaves. God bless Miss Trudy and Woda Maya
I thought that was their way of living, if so they know how to adjust with the weather.
Its a tropical climate. there is no winter along the equator
@@karenkane2922 they got lots of meat
No winter in Uganda
Thanks for showing us the Batwa people. Leave it to Maya to become immersed in their culture. I love it.
Welcome 😀
Our genes are so diverse as Africans.
Am watching from Uganda 🇺🇬 Kampala and am a Ugandan #harrietanabo
Africa is so blessed ❣️❣️look at the nature super green, I love it❤️❤️❤️
Towards the end, seeing Maya dance and just blend in ..I sort of got emotional.
This was just too wholesome. Mind-blowing m
Good job Trudy! Beautiful scenery and people. Off grid is the best way to live. Thanks Sis, Bravo! Watching from Cameroon.
It is better that you explained this lifestyle than any European, another great video, thank you so much.
I am so glad I came across your video. I am so tired of Europeans trying to tell our story of who we are. This gives me a better understanding of how my ancestors survived their journey and were able to live here in the new land we call America now. Thank you.
I love these kinds of videos sooo much darling, could you please explore more traditional tribes for us? Please can we see Ghana tribes for example? I am eager to see different cultures like their foods, traditional clothing, etc. from your lenses.
Your wish is my command 😀
VOODOO.
There were also the Gumba in Kenya, they were dwarfs two and lived in forests, but the were absorbed into other communities.
Kenya?! 😮which part of kenya?!
@@MissTrudyy In central, Kikuyu people intermarried with them a lot.
@@angelanyambura2843 The Gumba were not Bantu and they weren't too short. They were Cushites. They were assimilated by the Kikuyu and may be other tribes.
I love how they are living happily outside the life we know
Thank you 😀
Aren't they so lucky.
What a great life they must live.
So much respect to these people.
Thanks for sharing.
I also did videos about the Batwa Pygmies 😊they are really interesting people lots of love ❤️ from Uganda 🇺🇬 #harrietanabo
They really are 😃
Cool thanks, bwindi buhoma Uganda Africa Batwa cultural trabe ,I was very pleased to guide around bwindi thanks.
Was so cool😊
This is so beautiful. I hope they conserve their culture for generations to come.
I hope so too 😃
❤
Will they be able to with all these utubers visiting for views. It annoys me
What stupit culture. For them to remain in the forest while you drive fancy cars and live in mantions in the city? The world is getting adavance, education, development, and technology. Lets keep everyone one the sane paste😮😮
You meant "preserve"
Absolutely love this vlog it was done with class and dignity 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿
Me too
Please visit the San people in Namibia... Similar lifestyle... But with some differences that are just as beautiful as these amazing people you have documented here. ❤
Love from Namibia
It's amazing that there are still people that can live entirely self-sustainably in such environments. A place teaming with life, threats to life, and health. Their knowledge is very specialized. I hope we learn from them before they disappear into the cities, and their knowledge is forever lost.
Content of the century, even world class tv channels cant provide this.kudos to you and your team @WADEMAYA
This is so awesome! It's good to work in the next person's shoes, visiting others, people's culture and experience different ways of doing things I truly enjoy this blog. I even watch the commercial ❤❤❤
The more we learn, the more we realize we are one big family. I learnt a long time ago that Umtwa, in many Nguni languages, refers to a short person particularly of the San (Masarwa) tribe. Besides the many variations in tribe names and dialects, many if not all African people can 'trace' their own languages in another group.
"Nyama" is meat in many Nguni languages. Chances are you'll find the same across Southern Africa, to Kenya and beyond.
Thank you for sharing this was very informative and bless the people who shared.
The fact that they are happy,am amased 🔥🔥❣️❣️
This is so cute thanks for supporting visiting our community walk and Batwa culture, keep coming please
Thank you, I will
Tuned in❤❤❤
81 years and he looks so strong and I love the dance 😊I’m sure that tree has been there for years
Great content as usual
I know! Right?! 😀
Wow, so much culture preserved! Thanks for documenting this
I know, right?
This is so educational and informative. Thanks ms Trudy
Thank you, Miss trudy this is amazing ,no matter how they live or their culture, they have to respected
I never knew about Batwa in Uganda but I distinctly remember learning about the Congo forest pygmies or the RHG in school.
Interesting! I never learned about them in school
Thank you so much for this video Ms Trudy
Wow no one can know all about the world, you and Maya are really trying we have known many things from watching your videos well done
So nice of you
Thank you so much for sharing!
Awesome reminder of our diversity. Our hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa The Batwa in Uganda , In Kenya and Tanzania they used to be called Ndorobos (they consider it derogatory) now in Kenya we call them the Ilchamus in Baringo areas and we also have the Ogiek around the Mau region...
Woow uko na clue❤
Nendona ndurigetwo ne History hapo almost nikupee 100%🎉🎉+44
These people are called Abatwa in South Africa. Funny how the 81 year old man sounded familiar when he said "yiza nyama" come meat also means the same in Zulu and Xhosa. Kinda not surprised how these indegenous normads are all around in Africa.
The hair combo ooo wow
Thanks 😊
Nice video, great people.their hearts are full. What a peaceful life they have .truly living their best💜
I know, right? 😀
They were not "advised to come out of the forest", they were forced out of the forest by the Ugandan government.
By the European colonialists
I always wanted to know more about the Pigimis, thank you Ms T ,great content 🎉
My pleasure!!
It's pygmies
@@susangesare-sg5sr pymies means "tall as a fist";obviously this isnot their name! At some point we have to collectively stop to call ourselves with names used to diminish ourselves. We owe this to the next generations... You got Batwa, Baka, Bambuti, etc...let's not forget our names. This is how people in Australia are now called Aborigenes, when that's not even a name for a people for starters. Let's not do that to ourselves.
Congo is the only country in Africa believed to have Pygmies in African history lol these must have migrated to Uganda, how interesting to know and enlightening us.
So happy you went Wode, you relate to all native people do good, your a natural ❗🙂
Just imagine we live with such contentment as a country 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😘😘😘😘😘this is very beautiful
I know, right?
Thank You ! Beautiful Place ! Beautiful People ! ❤

Saw the later part coming. 🤣🤣
VERY VERY GOOD TO THE END. THANK YOU ❤👍
I did not know that Uganda had Abatwa, too. We have them in Rwanda, too. The only difference is that in Rwanda, they're not living in the forest, and they're integrating more and more in the community 😊
I love this video, welldone mrs trudy
I love how he brushed Wode's hair. I like seeing black africans make these kinds of videos
Both of you have strong mind I love that, great content
Thank a bunch
Movie! ! was eagerly waiting to see how the fire was lit.. Si Beautiful Headwrap..🙋🏽♂😀
We also have them in Congo Brazzaville but inter marriage with the bantu is slowly taking them out of the forest living. The autochtones ( pygmies ) in Congo have a skin tone slighly lighter than those from Uganda
we dont have anbody
Great video 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Man I would give anything to have lives there.
People really don't know how lucky they are.
Well I guess they do.
They chose to stay there.
Mad respect and much love to all
Congratulations gal
Wow this is weird but Kinda Beautiful 🥰🥰
Never seen such humans eiiii And.its sooo beautiful to see how they actually love themselves as they are it's crazy oooo 😂😂😂😂❤
The cloth that they make from the tree is very ingenious. Imagine the things that they can do and create that they don't show the public.
According to my tribe history we’re I come from we’re were migrated from the Bantu people.
Very informative
Glad you think so!
