I'm with you, I'm not sure Geoff receives back in proportion to the extra he gives in making his music videos. I have to be grateful that despite this, Geoff loves music and artistry enough to put the time in and give us these masterpieces ❤ His talent & artistry are blessings for us.
It is from a 'game' that I believe is one of the older but famous ones. I had never heard it either, as I am seriously not a gamer, lol. So for me, too, it is Geoff's song, totally. He is becoming even deeper, richer and more glorious in his deep notes, AND becoming more amazing in his "rock star" highs. And you are right, it IS work. I am just glad that the artist he is has found a way to do this for us at the same time he can make a living at it. And all without selling his soul to the company Man!
I love the fact that he said these are the Ghost Riders before they died, and he let them do this song without his supervision. I absolutely love this cover. I had to look up the original by D'Angelo, but this is far superior IMO. Those low notes rumble in my chest. Also, Daryl is the one in the Duster, and they are in front of Daryl's Cafe...lol.
It's from a video game - Red Dead Redemption 2. To me, the song seems so pertinent to the world today, between US politics, Ukraine invaded by Russia, Israel and Gaza.
This was an awesome song! I love that he let the 'Ghost Riders' do their own thing without him this time! He found this set, as yet unused, at Pattycake's studio and thought it was ideal for this western-themed cover! 🤩
I'm not a gamer but I understand that Red Dead Redemption is a game. This is a song from the second series. Geoff brought back his Ghost Riders for this. This is Geoff's full time job, apart from what he does with VoicePlay, and he couldn't do so much wiithout his patrons. It's the patrons who pay for it all and give him an income.
RDR2 is a very immersing game. I have watched my brother play the game through once and partially a couple of other times. This song is from the ending chapter in which the main character dies (sorry if that is a spoiler). You can't help being emotionally invested in the game's end in some way.
why did you say 5? Because you naturally thought Geoff was going to be in this one. Nope. He says it's just his 4 clones, he trusted them on their own this time.
I dont know but im 78.63% sure geoff used inhale at 2:49 because that break and the way it sounds but also i dont think geoff can do inhale so im so confused

Phenomenal vocals. A Low blow to the competition.

Like you, I don't know a lot of the music Geoff covers, but it doesn't matter. I have loved everything he does.
Great reaction!!

Yup boss that's how you define artistry !!!
It's only the boys. L to R Goff, Daryl, Jeoph, and Jeff. Risky unsupervised. He was counting on Daryl to keep them roped in.
I love your reactions to Geoff in particular! Thanks!

And we are immensely thankful for his patrons from Patreon.
Wow!! Deep and deadly. Truly a song that leaves us all shaken. Love the western feel. Amazing!!
His friend Bucky recommended this song to him and it got added to his "to-do" list. Eli did the lighting. The costuming was the same in Ghost Riders.

You should play it yourself
It's an amazing game
...and that ended up being a big mistake. It led them to be cursed to chase the Devil's Herd for eternity.
