I about lost my mind when "The Witch Queen" came up

Dude, I creamed my pants from the announcement of Beyond Light, but when they showed "The Witch Queen" and "LightFall", I lost all sensation down there.

lightfall is such a cool name i hope they don't change it

If on Lightfall we can decide forever darkness or light, then we are gonna have a good battle and end this now.

say what you want about the current Destiny 2 content but Bungie is one of the best at making trailers they all give me chills and get me excited like no other franchise can
A lot of it helps that their game can produce such emotion and energy. Trailers are top notch but the art and content helps a lot.
Sure, the day to day content can lack.
Well to be fair this reveal stream is the closest thing we have seen to the passion of d1 other then forsaken, the key difference being they now have total control over the game, no lingering effects of activision, and for the first time seem 100% certain of what they want to do with the game.

@@talizorahnarrayya5916 seeing the reveal bring up savathun, the nine, the stranger, and the nature of the actual darkness in one go was crazy. and the voice lines from your ghost this season during the first couple of story missions essentially begin to confirm what the darkness is

I'm on the fence about getting excited about what's coming. I'll have to see more before I spend my money. I have to say though. He said "we haven't gotten everything right, you can lay that on me", DAMN! There are a few developers who could learn from him. I won't say any names, but it rhymes with Bethesda! That garnered a lot of respect from me.
There are aslo very few developers who would use terms such as : "trow your money at the screen" or calling players jerks. You didnt mention that you shill did you? Have you seen trials of osiris vidoc where Luke Smith talks full of emotions how trials is a key part that been missing from the game and that they are gonna make it right?! It's kind of hard to say he's changed when they have yet to even launch the content yet. I'm all for it if he's being genuine, but saying things have changed because of a trailer is a bit much.
Look at the content we got thus far. Base Destiny 2 was pretty bad, Warmind was the worst(imo) and Curse of Osiris wasn't any better. We get Forsaken which was pretty good, it made some of the strongest characters we've ever gotten(Mara and Uldren) but an assload of stuff to actually experience was lore tabs and even those were hit or miss. Shadowkeep was a bit of a let down, and the seasons until the current one were okay at best. The current one isn't done so can't really say.
I'm still buying the DLC, but I'm not gonna act like a new leaf has been turned just because of a trailer and some words. I want action. Not lore tabs.

Ok so I noticed this in a few streams including this one, the cutscene where Eris touches the statue inside the prymid 11:12 and her rock changes color is like what bro man said, stasis. And that’s when Eris got stasis powers. And to prove it in the beyond light trailer we see eris using some sort of power and when we get an overhead shot at 2:28 it shows a pattern on the floor, and that patter is the same pattern that was in concept art for stasis in a video I watched, th-cam.com/video/8PScjosI5yY/w-d-xo.html at 1:33 .In short Eris has stasis power already.
