Thank you! I am so happy you like this part of it. I think it helps, too! I love that the scissors fit into the box! I have been using it while I hand sew. It is really nice.
Such a lovely little sewing box! I confess, I was really happy that it wasn't coasters like I first thought. I think you're right about tomorrow's gift. I'm hoping that it's some sort of embroidery project. I starting out doing embroidery and other needlecrafts as a kid before I got into sewing as an adult, so that's always been something that I love to do.
There will be complaints for sure !!! I love all these stuff, things I would not buy myself. As a quilter I have lots of material!!! So these little things are wonderful.
Good Morning from a rainy day in Florida. I love when it’s cool & the sun is warm; but we do need to accept the rainy days so everything in nature flourishes. Love your excitement & everything you share🫶🎄🎄
Aren’t the scissors cute?! Love the wooden storage box. Now it’s day 12 here in Australia and I’ve opened it. Oh my! I love it! I won’t spoil it for those are yet to open it. But 😍
Kris , I love your videos and responses. Thank you for doing this. My box has the same marks as yours does. Hubby thinks it is caused by rollers or some such during production.
I’m so glad you love the videos! I appreciate you watching! I think that's it. My husband does woodworking and said the same thing. Either way, I love it. I have used it several times now. Great item!
MSQC has been on an embroidery kick the last 18 mos or so. I believe this is am embroidery box (portable sewing station). It is magnetic to keep track of everything and can hold flat dmc bobbins or dmc floss in its original form and all the small cut off threads. Many of we stitchers cross over to quilting and vice versa. Your "crack" in your box may be a natural crack in the wood grain (if it does not go all the way through) or it may b a true crack. Don't work for them and do not have the box so have not watched their videos, just surmising from what they are pushing this year...which is two large embroidered quilts.
I am guessing an embroidery project considering the tools you just got, the scissors and storage coaster to put them in. And like you said, it is a new market they are getting into.

Excellent viewing and another great gift. I had thought coasters and so glad that I was wrong. I'm still thrilled. Now tomorrow. I'm sure and will have to wait like everyone else. This morning, I started quilting a flannel quilt top that I made for my husband, last Christmas and hope to finish it for this Christmas. It will be simple, because, my husband said, "no swirls, loops, or fancy. So, stitch in the ditch with some echoing. So, till tomorrow.
I hope that is true. I know they have done that in other years, although so far, they haven't mentioned that this year. Hopefully something is coming like that. I would love that!
Kris, just wanted you to know, I love your guesses for the next days gift. This is my first MSQC advent box, and I watch Jenny's gift opening, then switch over to you because your views are so great. God Bless and have have a Merry Christmas
Thank you so much! I love being part of your day! I love guessing! The anticipation is sometimes the best part! Blessings to you, too! Merry Christmas!
I like the comments about yesterday’s scissors being for embroidery. They should cut thread just fine. My pair doesn’t cut fabric well at the tip so I was a little disappointed. But now I know to use them in the little box and I’m a happy camper. Curating all of the gifts takes a knack & IMO, MSQC has done a very nice job.
I think day 12 gift would look lovely on an end table or coffee table, looking like a coaster, but hiding your sewing things for a hsnd sewing project on the couch.
I think this years MSQC advent box is the best they've had so far. I agree with your guess of an embroidery project for tomorrow. Jenny said the needles are for embroidery. I was SO glad we didn't get coasters. Those have been turning up a lot in subscription boxes and I've already seen them in another advent. I love today's "gift." Good job, thank you!
So glad it is not coasters. I like the box, it is really nice, and the little snips fit in it.😊. It is pretty. Yes, I also think an embroidery hoop, so maybe a little kit with a project? Have a nice day. Thanks for your up beat attitude. Deborah Powell
How cute to have as an embroidery accessory...the scissors from yesterday, the needles and yhreader and the box. But id hate to take it with me and break it. Nice to keep at home though 😊
Kris, I am really enjoying your videos! you have 0:01 a Janome 6700 P it looks like and it looked like you were using a quarter inch walking foot? Where do you get one of those? Thank you in advance! Keep up the great videos 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! 🥰 Yes, I do have the Janome . My 1/4" walking foot attachment came with my machine, but I would think any Janome dealer would have one or even SewingParts.com. I think they have a few different kinds, too. Hope this helps!
That's a great point! Totally agree. Another viewer emailed me and told me she loved the running totals because it helps to justify the expense to her husband and family. If doing this helps just one quilter receive some fun and joy each year, it is well worth keeping a running total.
Jenny's video said the box had magnets to keep it closed, but it doesn't work on mine. I was wondering why you'd have a box where the lid doesn't stay shut, and thought maybe the top part was a thick coaster or something. Guess I'll have to contact them.
I love the concept of this box, but am disappointed with its quality. The inside sections are very rough, and I cannot see using them without fear of splinters. Did anyone else get this kind of finish?
It also holds the cute little scissors we got yesterday.😊
So cool!
@@SewtheDistanceI was going to say the same thing. I think embroidery something for tomorrow, it will go with the jar two gifts.
That's balsa wood. Well made, laser etched
Oh, thank you! Good to know.
Loving the box, Kris you do a fantastic job. You are the only channel I watch for Jenny's box.
Yes she does an awesome job! Always so upbeat and cheery.
That means so much to me, thank you!
I enjoy her enthusiasm. She is the only one I watch also
I think so far this is the best box they have ever put out. Kris, your presentation is enjoyable and fun to watch. I look forward to every day.
Thank you so much! I agree--this year is great!
I guessed coasters too. The scissors fit in the box from today. I love that you give us value.
Thank you! I am so happy you like this part of it. I think it helps, too!
I love that the scissors fit into the box! I have been using it while I hand sew. It is really nice.
Hello Kris,
My fave gift is still the doors panel and the beautiful quilt pattetn. 😘😘😘
Hello! Ohhhh, I love them, too!
Such a lovely little sewing box! I confess, I was really happy that it wasn't coasters like I first thought. I think you're right about tomorrow's gift. I starting out doing embroidery and other needlecrafts as a kid before I got into sewing as an adult, so that's always been something that I love to do.
I'm so glad you love it!
Me, too! Embroidery is something I am getting back into. It is fun and relaxing!
I love this cute sewing box!
It really is! I love it.
I like that you show the next day's package and make a guess. 🧡
Thanks! I love guessing, too!
There will be complaints for sure !!! I love all these stuff, things I would not buy myself. As a quilter I have lots of material!!! So these little things are wonderful.
So true! 🥰 I am loving it, too!
Good Morning from a rainy day in Florida. I love when it’s cool & the sun is warm; but we do need to accept the rainy days so everything in nature flourishes. Love your excitement & everything you share🫶🎄🎄
That box today would be so fabulous for my handsewing space! Keeps scissors from nicking anything, and keeping needles from running away.
Lovely!
I’m glad you like it! It is such a great idea for sewing supplies.
Aren’t the scissors cute?! Love the wooden storage box.
Now it’s day 12 here in Australia and I’ve opened it. Oh my! I love it! I won’t spoil it for those are yet to open it. But 😍
Me too!
I am loving both the box and Day 12! Wow!
Kris , I love your videos and responses. Thank you for doing this. My box has the same marks as yours does. Hubby thinks it is caused by rollers or some such during production.
I’m so glad you love the videos! I appreciate you watching!

Thank you for the information!
I am guessing an embroidery project considering the tools you just got, the scissors and storage coaster to put them in. And like you said, it is a new market they are getting into.
You might be right about that! I would love that.
The scissors fit perfectly in the little box
Oh cool! That's cool!
I’m going with embroidery hoop and project….. hence the embroidery scissors!
Good point! Let's hope so!
I plan to put the new scissors in there with some thread and keep it near my chair in the living room for quick hand sewing jobs
Great idea!
Good Morning Kris, yes a cute box. I love it, I actually put the scissors from yesterday in the box. LOL
Good morning (afternoon now). I love that! Perfect!

Thank you so much! We sure do appreciate that good weather when we have a few raining days sprinkled in. 🥰

That sounds like a great Christmas gift for your husband! See you tomorrow!
Crossstitch kit. With thread and hoop and pattern
That's a great guess! Let's hope so!
Wow, that’s beautiful! Your headband is EVERYTHING. ❤❤
You are so sweet, thank you! I have a few more headbands coming up! 😎
I think it's an embroidering hoop with the project. Im sure some won't like it. But it'll be fun to see what it is. Love the box so far.
I was thinking that as it links back to the scissors which could be kept in todays box. i like the logic anyway!
Could be! Can't wait to find out!
I love today's Advent Gift! The box is beautiful and so unusual.
I love it, too! So cute!
I looks like MSQC tried to give work to other crafters with the gifts in this box. Good for them!!
I hope that is true. I know they have done that in other years, although so far, they haven't mentioned that this year. Hopefully something is coming like that. I would love that!
I really love today's gift! Adding magnetic sewing box to my wish list of things to be on the lookout for!
I was not expecting that. Lol. But I love it, it's perfect for my hand sewing.
I hope you get it! I love today's item, too!
Merry Christmas!
my guess for day 12 - an embroidery hoop with a project that goes in it
Agree
That would be awesome! I hope that's it!
Makes sense after the embroidery scissors and the box that would work well holding supplies while doing an embroidery project.
I agree! So happy you love them now.
so cute!
Isn't it? I love it, too.
I loce how excited you are. X I don't watch the part where you try to guess the next day's gift. I love this box. 🥰
Thank you! I really love surprises!
I'd love an embroidery hoop since I'm much more into cross stitching now than I am quilting.
I hope it is something with embroidery, too! Can't wait!
I think day 12 gift would look lovely on an end table or coffee table, looking like a coaster, but hiding your sewing things for a hsnd sewing project on the couch.
Oh, I love that idea! I might have to try that! Thank you!
This is the best one yet.
It's a good one, although I am loving Day 12! Can't wait to share!
I am glad you are enjoying the box this year! I am loving it, too!
I agree I think it's an embroidery kit with a frame. I'm guessing that the box today is for your embroigery needles and scissors.
That’s a great guess! I would love that!
I hope an embroidery kit is coming! Perfect holder for my new scissors! Love it!
I hope so, too! I would love that!
Nice gift again today😊
Loving it, too!
I love the little wooden tray/box. I have one that is similar but it doesn’t have the adorable lid! I’m super excited about this one!❤
Me too! This is a great one!
Not quilting but making memory bears for grandchildren for Christmas from their grandfathers shirts... 4 of them
a hoop would go with the last two days 🙂
So true! Let's hope it is a project!
thx.
My pleasure! Thank you for watching!
Mine has little glue stain, but I love ❤️ all the days.
Oh no! They may replace it. They really do have good customer service.
I am loving them, too!
I think it's an embroidery kit which I'm excited for because I've been getting into embroidery.
I hope so! I would love that, too!
So glad it is not coasters. I like the box, it is really nice, and the little snips fit in it.😊. It is pretty. Yes, I also think an embroidery hoop, so maybe a little kit with a project? Have a nice day. Thanks for your up beat attitude. Deborah Powell
I think that would be great, too! I'm so glad you like it!
So happy you are enjoying my channel!
Oh I like that box a lot! Call them about the crack. They’ll replace or give you a credit for it.
Embroidery kit.
Thanks so much! I may just do that.
I am guessing an embroidery kit. The past two days seem to lead up to that
That's a great point! I hope you are right!
Fun stuff, thanks Kris
My pleasure! Loving it, too!
Need a magnetic dish to hold needles, pins, metallic flask of Holiday cheer? Harbor Freight, or any hardware store. Marion
Great tip! Thank you!
That is a cool box
Isn't it? I love it, too!
How cute to have as an embroidery accessory...the scissors from yesterday, the needles and yhreader and the box. But id hate to take it with me and break it. Nice to keep at home though 😊
That's a good point! I think I will only use it at home, too!
Kris, I am really enjoying your videos! you have 0:01 a Janome 6700 P it looks like and it looked like you were using a quarter inch walking foot? Where do you get one of those? Thank you in advance! Keep up the great videos 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Yes, I do have the Janome . My 1/4" walking foot attachment came with my machine, but I would think any Janome dealer would have one or even SewingParts.com. I think they have a few different kinds, too. Hope this helps!
Maybe we will make our own pin cushion😀😲😁 its fun to guess. And be conpletely wrong😂😂
Oh, that would be fun! We did that last year, too! Maybe it is a yearly tradition?
Jenny showed that the embroidery scissors from Day 10 fit in the larger section of this box.
Oh cool! I haven't watched her video yet. That's so good to know!
I'm going to guess tomorrow's is an embroidery hoop and perhaps needles and thread
Oh, I hope so! I would love that!
As for the value of the items, all that really matters is that the purchasers believe their money was well spent.
That's a great point! Totally agree.
Another viewer emailed me and told me she loved the running totals because it helps to justify the expense to her husband and family. If doing this helps just one quilter receive some fun and joy each year, it is well worth keeping a running total.
I got something different. I got a quilt builder card deck. I like them but kind of bummed I didn't get the wooden box.
Send them a message that you got the wrong item, they will probably give a credit or send the right item.
Wow! Really? That's so interesting! I wonder what happened. Maybe contact them about it.
I think yesterdays gift, the scissors, would fit into todays gift...
I think you are right! Love that.
❤
🥰
❤❤❤
🥰
Those duck sissors fit in the wooden box
That's awesome! Thanks!
Oh my where did you get the wire basket?
I bought that at a yard sale! Isn't it cute?
It is adorable!!!!
Maybe an embroidery hoop with the fabric.
I hope you are right!
Embroidery hoop and supplies are my guess.
That would be amazing! Fingers crossed!
My box was not cracked you might need they in touch with them for an replacement
I think it is part of the design, maybe? What looks like a crack doesn't really go very deep.
Jenny's video said the box had magnets to keep it closed, but it doesn't work on mine. I was wondering why you'd have a box where the lid doesn't stay shut, and thought maybe the top part was a thick coaster or something. Guess I'll have to contact them.
Try twisting the lid 1/4 turn. That might make the magnets not repel each other.
Oh no! I hope they can help you out.
Are you a gift shaker at Christmas :) ?
YEP! Well, when the let me. 🤣
My box isn't cracked. Maybe you should let missouri star know that your box has a crack
I may just do that. Thanks!
Jenny kept saying embroidery. Wonder if thats a clue for in the future😏
Ohhhh, I hope so!
my scissors were garbage - the blades did not even meet so they would not cut anything.
Call customer service to see if they can be replaced.
Oh no! I am so sorry.
I thought it was real wood
It could be! I was trying to figure it out. Either way, I like it!
I love the concept of this box, but am disappointed with its quality. The inside sections are very rough, and I cannot see using them without fear of splinters. Did anyone else get this kind of finish?
Oh no! Maybe contact them. They have really good customer service.
That's totally wood!! Embroidery coming!!!???
Do you think so? Either way, I love it! I hope tomorrow is embroidery! I would love that!
