Nice video. I've been trying to do this with my horses. You must be in pretty good shape. When I run while turning them through the figure 8, I can't keep up and I always snag them in the mouth.
I think when training and trialling new systems, the odd moment of behind the vertical could be possible. The frame is dictated by amount of pressure on the reins - sometimes the horse will put more pressure than I would like , hence increasing contact . It is far better to use reins like this as I can let go , whereas side reins etc are fixed .
Whilst I appreciate you doing the video your horse has a lot of pressure incorrectly in the mouth and behind the vertical in the form of a draw rein concept perhaps you should investigate Manolo Mendez wellness in hand training classical dressage for a better technique..
Thank you for your comment, but please remember it is a video demonstration with different styles of reins and not promoted as a perfect frame . Please remember in training we can’t always have perfection unfortunately.
Really like the way you have the lines clipped onto the roller. I’m off to do this now with my 5 year old then my 12 year old!
Thank you! I will be following you😊
Great video thanks.
Cool, thank you!

New to this. Is the horse behind the vertical because of his habit or bevause od the rein-looping?

Ok, why are u running 🤦♀️ (great job otherwise)
So basically you're long lining in draw reins. Not good. To say the least.
I don’t think you understand the concept here of being able to release these !
