Congratulations to a very deserving Devils victory, but you're wrong about Rangers fans. We always turn up. There were plenty of us in enemy territory at the Prudential Center for Game 7. We knew our chances weren't all that great but we showed up. We stuck it out to the end like we always do.

Rangers didnt care tonight, Trouba was the only one trying to do something and its not igors fault at all. That was just a complete disgrace and absolutely horrendous tonight, but congrats to the devils they have a fun exciting team.

Saps, seeing you in your home watching our Rangers reminds me of the first time i saw a hockey match on TV. It was over 30 years ago in 1992 when i was 12. I'm from Perth, Western Australia but my family was visiting relatives for Christmas in Rochester, NY. My cousin in a Rangers fan, them being the favourite of all his sporting teams. I watched this first game with my dad, my cousin and my uncle. My uncle is an Islanders fan and the game was between the Isles and the Rags. I was going for the Rangers to support my cousin and, although we lost that night, i fell in love with the Blueshirts and have followed them in Western Australia ever since. I used to rely on internet score updates and the odd game on TV but then streaming allowed me to watch every game from 2014 onwards. It's been a wild ride but i love being a diehard Ranger fan and i'll take the pain of defeat each and every time as i look forward to every game and every season, screaming at the TV and putting the fear of God into my family as i don my Rags jersey and pray for victory. It hurts losing in such a wasted postseason, but i can't wait to do it all again in a few months time. They've greatly disappointed us with such a poor effort and bad list management from Drury (we could use a little grunt right now), but i have a feeling some changes are a-coming. I've already posted elsewhere on why i feel we failed this year and how i feel we should go forward. This post is simply to tell you, Saps, that watching you reminds me of why love this team so much and will always stand by them and my Ranger family all around the world. LGR4EVA

First off you have great videos. I am a die-hard Devils fan and I'm not commenting to rub it in at all. I was born and raised in Jersey and became a fan the day they came to Jersey. I'm dedicated like you are. I feel your pain brother. I dread every game they play the Rangers but I have to admit they always have great games together and are true rivals in every sense of the word. I admire your passion as a fan as I react the same way when the Devils lose. The Rangers have a great team, they were just flat in game 7. They have had great teams for decades. Be proud my friend. I'm 64 yrs old with congestive heart failure and don't know how many more wins I'll be able to see. As a Devils fan, I've been in your shoes a million times. Both our teams have their highs and lows, but I wouldn't trade the Devils Rangers rivalry for anything. For 40 years it's made games between the two teams that much more fun and interesting. And as I've had to learn from experience, there's always next year. I'm an old guy, so I've heard the Rangers fans chanting out "Mickey Mouse" in the 80s and 90s and I've chanted out "1940" a million times. It's all good, and it's all in fun.

As a Devils fans I still loved these videos in the Ranger wins. Great series, Rangers just didn’t have life at all (as you said) in games 5 and 7. Once Schmid came in and the team got some experience, they really turned it on.

As a rangers fan this video perfectly replicates how probably all rangers fans watched this game. Just depleting hope and energy throughout the game. Devils deserve to win this series, Rangers played with no energy or desperation at all.
This Devils win is the gift that keeps on giving. Rags have lost 3 out of last 4 playoff series against us. Those days of Matteu and Messier are long gone. You may have the media darling attention and the bright lights, but definitely have had the better hockey team since 1994.
I feel for you guys even as a Devils fan. The only way that would have been harder to watch is if it was 1-0 and the Rangers had two goals that they took back. Rangers just didn't show up to the game today, we know the feeling well.

This Devils win is the gift that keeps on giving. Rags have lost 3 out of last 4 playoff series against us. Those days of Matteu and Messier are long gone. You may have the media darling attention and the bright lights, but definitely have had the better hockey team since 1994.
I feel for you guys even as a Devils fan. The only way that would have been harder to watch is if it was 1-0 and the Rangers had two goals that they took back. Rangers just didn't show up to the game today, we know the feeling well.

As a Devils fan, this was a difficult loss for the Rangers. Hopefully next season they can make adjustments and get back into the playoffs as serious Stanley cup contenders.
