My dad had the MGA 1500, the MG Midget and the Magnette ZB. I now have the Magnette and have just put an 1800cc engine in it. Thanks for sharing your lovely MGA with us. Cheers from South Africa
Beautiful MG Ken! Nice job on the upgrades and it's really made it a great and very usable vintage car. It's car season gents, drive 'em if you got 'em!!!
Nice, i have a '61 MGA1600 LHD since 2003 in NL/Eu , and that wool cap! (longer 3.8/1 dif ratio, but 4 original speed fine for cruising icw less rpm/noise)
I restored a red one with my friend Dan about 20 years ago. Original engine and twin SU carbs. He passed away 12 years ago and don't know where the car went. A little difficult to drive with the non synchromesh tranny. Spelled "double clutch". I saw the very British driving cap on the seat. He used to wear one too. Parts came from Moss motors.
Thank you for watching and I'm sorry you missed it. Currently there is an offer on the table from a person who was watching it on BAT. I've accepted the offer. However, he is not in a position to finalize the deal till the middle of January. No money has exchanged hands. If it does not work out it will be available again but offered directly by me and not the current dealer who was representing the car on BAT. Contact me again if you remain interested.

Thank you for watching and your lovely comments all the way from South Africa. I know your Magnette ZB is more fun now with the 1800cc engine.

Nice ride, did the 1959 model ever come with the 1600 cc engine?
Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes. However, it was called the MGA 1600 MKI.
I have a 1960…. But this one is the one I need …. I missed it on BAT…. Is it still for sale?
