Heyho :) I think you also missed on the Llama, that if you have the saddle extension for an unconcious barbarian eqipped, the carry weight goes up by 200. So if you go out on a harvesting / mining run, equp that saddle extension and you can carry a LOT more :)
Omg I can't believe how low you put the Jag it's literally S tier for me and the only one I use lol. I was actually just thinking the other day all mounts are pointless to me, only one I like is Jag. Now I do play on easier settings so I haven't tried the desert biome on normal yet. I assume the radiation is much worse on higher difficulties? but on my settings I just feed him a radiation protection soup and he is fine. I was excited to get an Ostrich for the fall dmg reduction and when I seen they were still fast I was like YESS, Jag replacement? but then the dreaded...can not jump! and thus it's back to a Jag for me. I need 2 things, speed and jumping! Otherwise mounts are pointless to me! With the way the map is, not having jump is just too annoying to me. Sorry didn't mean to make the message so long lol. To finish I would love to be able to tame a Lion in the future, they look soooo good! I think they should just let all mounts jump btw, as the world is so annoying without jumps, you just bump into so many obstacles u then have to go around.
I knew LLama will be S tier , they are so useful, now we need pets that actually fight like bush dogs or wolves, However, it is possible to place tamed piranhas in rivers or lakes to defend your floating base from a raid
Heh. The only time I tried to use the Wicker Basket was to transport my first ostrich egg -- and it can't do that! Personally, as soon as I got the Jag, I ditched the alpaca. While I was really excited to use the Llama when I first got one, I really don't have much need for the wicker basket or the extra seat (especially now that portals can connect to the main network). Even the larger carry weight is of little utility given the excruciatingly slow pace and the inability to jump. Even the Ostrich doesn't compete except for traveling in the desert. The radiation resist is far more useful than the "slow fall", since the ostrich can't jump either -- and there are just so many places where the Jag Jump is required (to bypass irritating Plunderers, for example).
Hi there. Its allways interesting how other use given things in a game. I was realy really hyped and so happy as I managed to get a little llama early in game. I carry the 'little' sweety all the way home to base with a big smile. At home it was already as big as the alpacas I got so far. Now I have a giant Llama that barely fit under its shelter but I did not used it after a few rides through the rain forrest. It is so unhandy. As the llama could not jump and I mostly have enough carrying capacity with an alpaca or my black panther. The carrying capacity of panther and alpacas are nearly the same (about 10% difference at most). I'm looking forward to get an ostrich and even more a white cat. I guess they might be a better choice on deeper adventures into desert or snow mountain.
there is many other creatures that could be useful as pets, for example wolves, maybe one day pets will be useful in fight. Because rn this looks funny that deadly jaguar forgot how to use claws and teeth after being tamed
Lol wicker baskets do not hold eggs sadly. You can put one baby animal on deploy to follow you and carry a second if you wish or jus deploy the one so that you can fight hostiles on your way home. I haven’t seen any video stating that you can deploy a baby animal yet so I’m dropping this here for anyone in case they are curious
this is some very PVE only based tierlist, and even then I think it's very wrong haha. most people only use slow leopard or ostrich, havent used an alpaca or llama since I got them lol
Snow Leopard SSSSS and the only mount i use LOL

You did my Jaguar dirty 😢
nice video! thanks!
Does the ability to jump, or lack thereof not impact their tier placement?
@KiahOnFire Llama will "kick" attacking animals, which I've not seen other mounts do.

I just have a huge soft spot for the alpaca
Nice
